Incorrect manufacturer and model for connected devices.

I have several devices connected to my Linksys EA4500. Two of them are my Apple Mac Pro and my Logitech Squeezebox Radio. For some reason, in 'Device List', my Apple Mac Pro has the manufacturer 'Logitech' and the model 'Squeezebox Radio'. As for my Logitech Squeezebox Radio, it doesn't have a manufacturer nor a model. It appears that there is a mix up with these two devices. I have cross checked the IP addresses and MAC addresses displayed in Cisco Connect Cloud with those displayed on the devices and they match - so it's not a case of mixed up names. Could this be an issue with Cisco Connect Cloud?

Try to delete those devices from the device list and then add them again.

If your router is not identified in a national database (don't recall who maintains it or where it is) then there is no location associated with it. Hence your device cannot be located. I suggest you try your test at some public wifi spot, like a bookstore or coffee shop. These places usually have a location associated with their wifi router.

MBP 15.4" Display manufacturer and model number

Does anyone happen to know what the manufacturer and model number happen to be for the LCD modules in the 15.4" MacBook Pro might be? Perhaps a curious Apple Certified Technician has taken a peak during a repair...

Ok, here's an update: The Samsung module is the LN154X7. Found a picture of the sticker on the back of a module. Chi Mei has one module listed on their website that seems to match, because of size, resolution, color support and viewing angles: N154C1. Can anyone verify that this is the counterpart to the Samsung?

I have multiple apple devices mainly used between me and my wife , my question is that can i have two sets of contacts backed up to icloud one for her devices and one for my devices using the same itunes account

You can set up different iCloud accounts on each device using different Apple IDs (to keep your mail, calendars, contacts, etc. separated), and still share the same iTunes account (in Settings>Store on your device). There is no requirement that you use the same Apple ID for purchases and for iCloud.

IPhone notify me about incorrect sim and ask for activation.

I`ve change my sim-free iPhone 4s (Repair No: R70901554).
Now I try to use new iPhone i received with local russian cellular network but i can`t. When I insert local sim-card the iPhone tell me a about incorrect sim and ask for activation. How i can fix it?

P.S. now i can`t visit any Apple Store because I`m in Russia now and we have no local Apple Store here.

Duplicate photos displayed for connected devices

I have 1942 photos on the iphone but iphoto displays 3884(two of each) Same for the ipad; two of each.
All other functions of iphoto seem normal and the right number of photos are displayed for the Macbook Pro. Just the connected devices are doubled.
I have restarted macbook pro and iphoto and reconnected the devices but no change.
Lot of work to manually delete the duplicated pictures but seems like that might be the only way to fix. Any help is appreciated.

After rebooting both iphone and ipad and rebooting my Macbook pro it all seems to work.....Not sure what really caused the problem but fixed now. Thanks.

ITunes 11 showing incorrect content and playlists for my iPhone 4S

I have iTunes 11.0.1.12 for Windows. I have an iPhone 4S 64GB running iOS 6.1. I have been in the process of upgrading songs with iTunes Match but have not yet linked my iPhone 4S to iTunes Match. I have different playlists on the iTunes library to those on the iPhone. I have 14165 tunes in the library, but only 6729 on the iPhone. When I connect iPhone to iTunes on the computer, iTunes displays that I have 7393 tunes on the iPhone, and an incorrect list of playlists. I have a feeling this data is from some previous sync point. How do I get it to display the correct content?

Is it possible and does anyone have experience with being able to create an automated load of new groups and users in Adobe Connect. We have an On-premise deploymentwill be setting up the application to be open outside our company to train channel partners. We would like to be able to create a front end database that would create a group based on the partner company or based on product knowledge. Then we would like to add users to these groups. Creating Logic and modeling for SAP BW datasource in SAP HANA views and SLT

Hi to all,
I have small question.
We have BW system and SAP ECC as source system and to get data from SAP ECC source system we are using SAP ECC Standard data source.
Now we required to, create modeling in SAP HANA by use of HANA View and get data from SAP ECC source table via SLT.
So we can replicate same modeling,as we done in SAP BW system.
But my question is that, as SAP ECC standard data source hit multiple table and do run-time calculation, before sending to SAP BI.
How we can derives such calculation and logic, in our HANA studio, because as we know in SLT data transformation can be done in limited way also
in view we can not drive such logic via SQL script ?.
Is there any way we can do such modeling and logic in SAP HANA ?
or
is there any standard document for this type of case, which we can use ?
Note: We don't want to use SAP DS or DXC for data loading to HANA, as we want it in more real time.

As SLT is based on ABAP, so we can write complex logic in it.
But if we talk about SAP ECC standard data source, they have complex logic, based on multiple table.
So we need to write code from scratch in SLT to derive same result. but it will be huge time consuming , and required good ABAP skills, also it will lead to bug in code.
Also it will reduce the real time performance of SLT, due to complex logic.
Second option is procedure via SQL script, which is again huge effort in term if logic and can lead to error/bug in logic.
Does we have any other way or architecture to do this is very simple way, with high performance and less error issue.

12.0.1 Upgrade - Sidebar not apparent in order to use the "drag" from iTunes and "drop" to connected device

I found a workaround but I am opening a new discussion for my specific issue as noted in my subject. Search "iTunes 12 sidebar missing".

I apologize to those readers who use this site "correctly" but I did not know how else to accomplish this.

Argh... Found that I cannot drag new playlists to the device icon that appears on the taskbar of itunes. If I display the playlists in itunes I can select 1 then scroll up to the my ipod where it appears further up the list and then drop the item into the ipod. This appears to be a great step forward for Itunes but you must drag and scroll the list to find your device one at a time as selecting items with the shift or ctrl buttons pressed has no effect.
Itunes at version 12+ you would think it would be easier not harder to load content.

Will Verizon offer any thing to iPhone 4 users since Apple will stop releasing update and support for the device?

Apple recent stated they will no longer offer any support for the iPhone 4, no more updates, apps will stop working with the advancement of software updates. over all by the end of the year the phone will be almost completely phased out. Does Verizon have any type of plan for their current iphone 4 device users?

Verizon has nothing to do with Apple updates.
It is much like Microsoft who phased out support updates to Win 31, Windows 95,98,ME and now Windows XP.

Ipod is freezed and ask for connection to Itunes

My son has has an I pod Touch 5 on which his has made the 7,0,3 update.
Then when he tryed to switch it on, teh device was freezed on the image of cable to Itunes.
The DFU manipulation does not bring any relief.
Could someone help me ?

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Common Apple ID and Password for All Devices and Applications

I have devloped a plethora of Apple IDs and Passwords with iCloud, Apple Store, iTunes, Apple Support, etc., etc. and on iPad, iPhone, and MacBook. Where and how do I start to establish a single Apple ID and a single Password which will work with all the devices and applications?

Can't help with iOS devices, since I don't own any and have only one AppleID. Call AppleCare and let them work it out for you. FWIW, the AppleID system is a bit bolloxed, since one can't eliminate or transfer them around. Good luck.

We are using one apple ID and password for 5 devices. I would like to know how to give my children their own apple ID to use on their I touches. Can I do this without them loosing all their contact details, music and games? Any help much appreciated.

I think I will do this. I will use my apple ID and set face time and message to work independently. That solves one problrem. My other problem and maybe my bigger problem is that if I am using my apple ID, how do I iflter all of this so that my kids don't see my contacts, get my apps, etc. ?
