Incorrect number of color values Error

Hi All,
I am getting an error stating "Incorrect number of color values was given" in the following Indesign Script.
var currentPage = myDocument.pages.item(0);
var myColor = myDocument.colors.add();
myColor.colorValue = [82,60,0,0];
var recFrame = currentPage.rectangles.add();
recFrame.fillColor = myColor;
Am getting the above mentioned error when the third line is executed. Kindly help.
Thanks in advance,
Anitha

    When I check my boot SSD drive using Disk Utility under Mavericks, I often get "Incorrect number of extended attributes" errors.  But if I boot off an external drive and check the same SSD, no errors are reported.
    This happens not just with the SSD in my Mac Mini, but with another SSD in my MacBook (both now running Mavericks).  So far as I know, all of the kit I am using is in good order (despite the file corruption reports).  So I am beginning to wonder if it could be due to a bug in Mavericks?  Both SSD drives have been formatted to MacOS Extended (journaled) format.  Should I have used a different format, I wonder?
    Has anyone else encountered this issue?
    Does anyone have a solution?
    Or an explanation that might help my investigation of the issue?
    Thanks guys,

    I understand that the Corsair Force 3 is not one of the SSD drives that are supported on Apple Macs.
    I did try downloading and using Trim Enabler, but the error message came up both when it was off and when it was on.
    I understand that not everyone thinks Trim Enabler is a good program, though there is a new version out now, so I may give it another try.

    I'm not sure if CM was assigned to document when created or  afterwards. In Color Settings preferences is stated Fogra 39 (if it matters - document was meanwhile saved and opened...). Are there other options to assign workspace to exsisting document?
    Peter, this is not the case. Placed image has embeded same color profile as is working space of document in ID. I tried the same with sRGB image placed in same ID document and compared it to PS but color shift (greenish) is present - it looks exactly the same.
    Guys, I can't tell you how happy I am to have you help me with this terrible and nerve-wracking problem.

  • Error message "incorrect number of file hard links" after Lion installation. Please could you advised to solve this problem; my iMac (mid 2010) is working well

    After installation of OSX Lion I have ran the disk utility program and the following error message appears: "incorrect number of file hard links". The program advises to fix the disk by reinstalling the Mac OSX install dvd (Snow Leopard). Please could you advise? Additonal information: the iMac was up-to-date before installing Lion. Thx!

    I feel like I'm on a scavenger hunt and it's getting very dark!  You are absolutely correct.  My computer doesn't show my HD in the finder window.  That's been the case for a long time.  At one point, I found a solution and fixed it but then it reverted.
    From a Finder menubar, select Finder > Preferences, then either General (controls what appears on your desktop) or Sidebar (your Finder windows's sidebar) and check the box with your Computer's name, hard drive, etc.
    I read to hold 'option' and press 'go'.
    On Lion, that allows you to see the Library folder inside your home folder (it's only hidden in Lion).
    I have found the right file and deleted it.  It keeps reintroducing itself so I guess I'll need to delete it from the trash as well?
    No, you've deleted the one that may have been damaged.   As with most preferences files, OSX will create a new one, with default values, when needed, which is what we want.  (Sooner or later, you should empty the trash, but it's not a problem.)
    As mentioned in #A4, you'll have to re-select your Time Machine drive, re-select any of the things that were checked on the Options panel, and re-enter any exclusions.

    The oracle application express environment is created by installing the HTTP Server on the windows server and the application express 3.2.1 components on the 11.1.0.7 oracle database on UNIX. This error message is seen on most of the pages when trying to accessed and not able to understand the reasons behind it. Its a brand new environment setup and not even presented to developers to test it.

    I think its better you use APEX 4.x version ratherthan using old version.
    You will get more features and some bug fixes and also it's easy for you to get some help when you need.

    Lets isolate the erroring line by running the code in debug mode and adding some debug lines at various stages in the code
    Apex has a builtin function named wwv_flow.debug which can print messages to the debug stack and would be visible when the page is run in debug mode.

  • Numeric or value error: character to number conversion error

    I'm having problems inserting a value from a date picker field (DD-MON-YYYY HH MI )
    i'm submitting this value to a packaged procedure that accepts this field as VARCHAR2 .
    on the insert, i do a to_date( P_DATE, 'DD-MON-YYYY HH:MI PM' )
    and i get the numeric conversion error.
    If I change the to_date on the procedure side, I get the :could not read the end of the format mask - which I've found threads about on this site.
    I've tried using HH24 and different formats, but I get one of the two above errors on the insert.
    If I don't fill in the datepicker field at all, it works fine.
    help is appreciated !

    Can someone please please tell me why I'm getting this error and what I'm doing wrong? It looks like a simple error, "numeric or value error: character to number conversion error".
    My code is as follows:

    OracleConnection con = new OracleConnection(connectionString);
    OracleCommand cmd = new OracleCommand("DEMO.PKG_LOCATION_TYPE.INS", con);

    Are the parameters in your procedure in the same order as they are created in this code? Oracle command works by position unless you change it to be BindByName.
    Failing that you seem to have defined a parameter (P_NAME) to have a length of 6, and are then setting it's value to a string with a length of 9.
    Also the in/output parameter is defined as type decimal. Is this correct? It is defined as InputOutput but you don't assign it any value.
    If these suggestions don't help then perhaps if you post the stored procedure you might get some more ideas.

  • PL/SQL: numeric or value error: character to number conversion error in TRG

    Hi,
    I've got strange issue with one trigger which during update of table reports (DB is 9.2.0.8):
    ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error: character to number conversion error
    ORA-06512: at "UDR_LOG", line 345
    ORA-04088: error during execution of trigger 'UDR_LOG'but line 345 is:
    END IF;
    so its kind of strange
    the code looks like
    343 IF nvl(to_char(:old.PKD_ID),'''') <> nvl(to_char(:new.PKD_ID),'''') THEN
    344     v_zmn := v_zmn || 'PKD_ID''' || to_char(:old.PKD_ID) || '''' || to_char(:new.PKD_ID) || '''';
    345    END IF;
    so its concatenation not to_number usage .error is triggered by update statement on any column .
    I'm sorry I cant provide You with whole trigger code .
    So if You could only recommend any investigation method that would be great .
    Regards
    Greg

    Hi, Greg,
    When there's an error in a trigger, the line numbers in the error messages are relative to the first DECLARE or BEGIN statement; often, that's a few lines after CREATE OR REPLACE TRIGGER. Post a few lines after what you already posted.
    If you can't find the error, then create another table for testing this, and create a smaller trigger on that table, which does only enough to cause the error. Then you'll be able to post the complete trigger, and the code needed to re-create the problem.

  • ui:ContextMenuItem in MXML causes Error 1136: Incorrect number of arguments

    Hello,
    I'm trying to define a context menu declaratively like so:
    quote:
    <ui:ContextMenu id="editChartDataContextMenu">
    <ui:customItems>
    <mx:Array>
    <ui:ContextMenuItem caption="Clear"/>
    </mx:Array>
    </ui:customItems>
    </ui:ContextMenu>
    However, the Flex compiler gives an error for the line that
    reads "<ui:ContextMenuItem ....". (the line in boldface).
    The error is: 1136: Incorrect number of arguments. Expected
    1.
    Needless to say, I have experimented with varying number of
    attributes, but no luck.
    I have googled in vain to find examples where context menus
    are built up using markup; all examples seem to be imperative
    (ActionScript) code, instead of declarative.
    Any ideas?
    Joubert

    I know context menus can be used in limited situations with
    limited functionality in Flex. Don't know if your usage is within
    the ways context menus are used in Flex.
