Incorrect phone numbers in current message log

OK, I'm re-posting because I Can't seem to find the first post I placed. The current message log is showing incorrect numbers for both sent and received texts. The number is showing up as (removed) which is just not correct , is there a reason this might be happening?

We certainly want to ensure that this issue is resolved, phone-ish! Is this the My Verizon message log or the messages that are compiled on the device?

Contact your provider and see if they have a means to do this. It can be done for a cost with AT&T.

Incorrect phone number on Voice Message alert

I'm a newbie here, so please be patient.
I received an email alert saying that I had a new voice message.
It said, "left by ...+****************"
Obviously, I noticed the number was odd, but I was able to listen to the voice message OK.
However, I cannot reply by clicking on and calling the number back, as Skype then tells me it is not a valid number!
Anyone have any clues please?

I see that the actual (but invalid) phone number quoted by Skype has been starred out, so just to clarify, it started with +444 (yes, 3 x 4s) followed by a further 11 numbers.

I was trying to update the software, and ended up reseting to its original factory settings. Lost all my contacts and text messages, Is there any way that I can recover all that info and go back to my previous settins?

if you are using your iPhone as recommended, contacts are synched to a supported contact manager like Outlook, or with a cloud service like MobileMe or Google. You can just resynch those contacts.
Text messages are backed up every time you synch, so you can try and restore from your most recent backup. However, any new texts sent/received since the last backup are lost.

Open the message, go to Options -> Automatic find on (Most probably this would be set to off). Now, scroll down, and when the number is highlighted, go to Options -> Use number -> choose from call/add to contacts, etc.

How do we remove our current phone numbers from our old iPhones?

So my girlfriend and I both upgraded our iPhone 5 to the iPhone 6. We backed up both phones and transferred everything to the new phones. I was thinking about selling the phones but I noticed that my current number is still on my old phone and my girlfriends number is still on her old phone. The number is located when
I tried researching this but nothing seems to work. I did the Settings/General/Reset/Erase all settings and content. I have tried doing it through iTunes. Its like the phone is ready to be set up as new, and everything is cleared on the phone except our numbers. We are not signed into iCloud. I even signed on to my iCloud account on my girlfriends old phone but her number still shows. Its very frustrating.
Bottom line, is I am trying to get rid of our current phone numbers that are still on our old iPhones.
EDIT: I just realized that our old iPhones still says Verizon on them. Do we possibly have to deactivate the phones some how? If so, how do we do that?

Fixed the issue by doing:
Switched off Face Time (Setting -> FaceTime-> FaceTime OFF)
Switched off iMessage(Setting -> Messages->iMessage OFF)
Switched on iMessage (The phone started “Verifying”the incorrect phone number, failed and set it to the correct ported number (seeSettings -> Messages -> Receive At -> Phone).
At this point the “My Number” (Settings ->Phone -> My Number) had also updated.
Switched on Face(Same “Verifying” as with iMessage, but tooktwo attempts).
Power Cycled the ‘phone and re-synced to updateiTunes (Summary “Phone Number” field).

Thanks for the details. All numbers should show up in the message history log, unless you are communicating via iMessage. When texting the numbers that are missing in the message log are you using your normal messaging app on the device or a downloaded app? Have the numbers that are missing been shown in your message log before?

Does it only happen on numbers that don't have a country code?
Did you change your region settings?
If so, that may be why.
Put the missing country codes or check your region to match your current area.

In case you're not clear - iPad/iPhone storage, and iCloud storage, are totally separate. Buying more iCloud storage does not give you more storage space on your device. Your device has a fixed storage space for apps and data (e.g., 16GB - which is more like 12GB in real terms). iCloud storage just allows you to store more documents, mail, photos, etc, in the cloud.

You should see a list of available contacts which would make messages appear. Make certain that each family member has their own individual contact and NOT the same one that you use. I find it useful to have each family member have their own icloud email and use that for iMessaging my kids. My kids do not have iPhones, but if yours do, their phone number should be listed as well. For iPads and iTouches, use icloud email addresses. If you need to send a message to all 3 kids, say, you can just add all three emails to the To box on your iMessage.

The email is simple. Just delete her email acoount on her iPhone and configure your account into the phone and then do the same for her on your phone.
The harder issue is that to switch the cellular phone service you will need to switch the SIM cards and the two phones do not use the same size SIM card.

Is there a way for my MMS message phone numbers not seen by whole group even after turning off group messaging?

I send messages to a group of people but they are all able to see each other's phone numbers and they can't tell who is sending the message because on their iphone all the numbers appear and I have turned off group messaging. Is ther a way to prevent that from happening?

I am simply lookig for some help not an argument. I am not an RF specialist however have setup a few wireless networks in my tenure at Wynn Resorts. I fully agree that wireless networking is an art and a science however the powers that be in Network Land have toughted wireless networking is the easiest and quickest way to get two computers to talk with one another. As I previously said I have already turned one (1) MBP in for this problem and Apple decided to replace it because they could not fix the problem with my particular MBP. This MBP was running Leopard when the problems started
I am having a hard time believeing that there are several other devicces in my home that depend on a wireless network to operate and my MBP is the only one having an issue. I took this a step further and decided to see what would happen if I tried to connect wirelessly via Fusion. In Windows 7 I am able to print and scan to my hearts content without any issues. I am able to browse the internet as much as I want. I close Fusion and try to connect to my printer via wireless and nothing.
In order to get Apple to help do I need to get a Network Analyzer and capture packets when I have these problems? Out of the 1000 + posts is there a consolidation of which answer is the best? BTW I am accessing the internet via a wireless connection using Fusion and Windows 7.
In response to Linc's comments, I will look at the router specifications however I did not qualify that these devices are not using the wireless connection at the same time. Right now I would guess there are maybe two (2) or three (3) at the most that are actively transmitting / receiving information. -- Thanks

TS4268 I am able to imessage from my ipad all phone numbers in contacts but one. With it a get an error message that say "number is not registered with imessage". However I am able to imessage that number from my iphone. Any suggestions?

If you resintall iTunes, it should fix the issue. The following document will go over how to remove iTunes fully and then reinstall. Depending on what version of Windows you're running you'll either follow the directions here:
