Incorrect qty in mrp

hi,
Actually the problem is with md04 ,where after the ShpgNt shows recipt and available qty to be equal,as we checked the PO quamtity and purschase order history sheet there was no difference example after GR in Purchase order history it was 160 and in PO qty it was 500,actually it should be 340

NNeeti,
What is the creation date of the Shipping Notification, as compared with the date that the material was actually received?  Was the material received against that shipping notification?

    Hi,

  • Showing the incorrect qty on the MRP

    hi gurus,
PO     450000####, total qty for 15M pcs, received a partial of 2,400 pcs. On the MRP still shows the total qty of 15M. Same with PO 450000#### same scenario.  1/27:

    Dear,
As far as I know and predict,
    Check the Goods receipt...
    1. If 103 for blocked stock - MRP will nto consider this quantity as received.
    2. If GR processing time less than the GRN time. For example GR processing time set as 4 days and GRN done within this days, MRP will not consider this as closed quantity due to no further procurement orders raised.

  • Stock transfer with incorrect price from MRP

    Hi.
I have material with special procurement 40 (MRP2 view).
Special procurement is for stock transfer from other plant.
When I run MRP with MD03 transaction, PR for transfer is created, but  value price (EBAN-PREIS) is incorrect since that Value price is obteined from target plant,  instead  should be obteined from supplying (issing) plant.
Therefore when I create PR manually with ME51N transaction, value price is obteined from supplying plant.
I have ECC 6.0 wtith Support Package SAPKH60407 installed.

  • BADI For Changing Planned order Qty during MRP Run

    Hi,
My requirement is i want to change Planned order qty based on some conditions during MRP run(MD02). Is there any BADI to fullfill my requirement.
    Thanks,
    Kishore

Not sure I understand the situation correctly...You want to delete the planned orders before MRP runs again. WHy do you want to do that ? Are these firmed Planned orders ?

  • MRP RUN for increased qty of SODS PR for complete qty instead of increase

While doing MRP RUN for increased qty of SO No line item 10 to 20,System is making PR for complete qty instead of increased qty.
    Sales order  - 0001
    Line item - 10 Qty - 10
    Line item - 20 Qty - 15
MRP run against the sales order for line item 10 & 20 PR / PO raised for qty 10 & 15 respectively.
After that qty has increased in sales order.Again we run MRP system generates totla no of PR insted of Increased qty .
    Sales order  - 0001
    Line item - 10 Qty - 10 + 5 = 15
    Line item - 20 Qty - 15 + 5 = 20
    Plz help

    There are few questons here:
    - when you increase the amount of the sales order item, is the newly added amount confirmed with the same date / schedule line? You can check the schedule lines for that SO item.
    - have the purchase requisitions, which were generated after the first MRP run (before the modification of the SO items), been modified manually (are they firmed?) / processed? In this case MRP cannot modify (delete) them (and create new ones)...
    - did you check the MRP control settings in material master
Remark: even if you get several PRs, you can create one PO from them.

  • How to change PR Qty before rounding value is applied during MRP run?

    Hi, SAP gurus~
I have an inquiry about how to change the PR qty of specific raw material before rounding value was applied during MPR run.
Here is a simple example for what I needed.
    -SAP Original Logic
    1. Original requirement Qty: 190
    2. Rounding value at Material Master (MRP1 View): 200
     System will suggest PR Qty 200 at MD04.
    -My Customer Requested Logic
    1. Original requirement Qty: 190
    2. Additional buffer Qty for C/S purpose: 10 % of Original requirement.
    3. Rounding value at Material Master (MRP1 View): 2000020
     Requirement Qty would be 209 (190 + (190 x 10%) ) before rounding value is applied and system should suggest PR Qty 400 at MD04.
    -     I input assembly/component scrap rates (10 %) at Material master for above purpose, but it doesn`t not work for raw material.
    -     I tested the BADI (MD_PURREQ_CHANGE/ method: CHANGE_BEFORE_SAVE_MRP), but I can only change the PR Qty, which rounding value already applied.
How can I change the PR qty during MRP run before rounding value is applied? Is there any other method or User-exit possible to solve above problem?
    Thanks in advance.

    Dear ,
How can I change the PR qty during MRP run before rounding value is applied? :
Simple way is goto MD04 with your material and plant code -Select the PR-Hit the pencil (change mode ) -Choose qty field  and change , SAVE at individual level .Or Use : MEMASSRQ - Mass Maintenance
If you want to use User Exit , then you try a work around :
M06B0001 Role determination for purchase requisition release
M06B0002 Changes to comm. structure for purchase requisition release
Try and let us know if u have any issue .

  • Relation between PO Qty and Minimum Lot size of material master

I have maintained "100" in minimum lot size ( MRP1 View, table MARC and field BSTM) for the material.
I am also succssed to create the Purchase order for 2.5 Qty for the same material. '
I wanted to know, how system is allowig to create the PO with lesser qty or is this view is maintained only for sales?
Please give your expert comments on the same.
    Thanks,

Used for claculate the procurement qty during MRP and depends on the lot size procedure you select. quota arrangement also uses this lot size.

  • Schedule Line generation via MRP

Dear Members..We create Scheduling Agreements by referencing quantity contracts. Now Schedule line in scheduling agreements are generated via MRP ..business wants that the sum of scheduled quantities in scheduling agreements should not exceed Contract Quantity. How can we control this. This check is already there in case of manual scheduling in SA ..but how can we control it via MRP ? Thanks in Advance ..
                                    Vinod

    Hi,
    Let me understand the process
First create contract ME31K eg X qty
Output of this contract creates a SA of X qty
Via MRP it creates a Schedule line and this should increase the X qty.
I think as std SAP system will not allow to more than X qty
    Thanks

  • MRP is not generating purchase requisitions consistently for MRP type VB

Issue: When executing consumption based MRP in ECC 6.0 using the following parameters; purchase requisitions are not created for all material with stocks below max stock levels. In other words  requisitions are  created incase of some materials and requisitions are not created for others.
u2022     MRP type VB ( manual reorder point) with reorder point qty
u2022     Lot size HB with Max stock level
u2022     Procurement type F (external procurement).
Additional info: Some of these materials are batch managed and results are inconsistence whether it is batch managed or not.
    Regards
    Sai

I checked that and planning file entry is created.
Example 1: MRP is not working.
    MRP type = VB
    Lot size =HB
    Procurement type= F
    Material # = 1200045
    Reorder point =30
    Max stock level = 300
    Available qty = 139
No PRs are existing before MRP.
MRP is expected to create PR  for qty 161 (300-139= 161)
Example 2 : MRP is working.
    MRP type = VB
    Lot size =HB
    Procurement type= F
    Material # = 1200052
    Reorder point =100
    Max stock level = 1000
    Available qty = 87
MRP created PR qty of 913 and results are as expected.
MRP is expected to create PR  for qty 161 (1000-87= 913
NOTE: I am directly creating Purchase requisitions by selecting creation Purchase Requisitions Indicator =1  during MD01/MD02 trxs . Not creating any planned orders.

  • MRP and Minimum Order Recom. Batch Sizes

I would like Purchase Order recommendations to be generated (MRP) based on minimum stock levels. If the stock is below the minimum Qty, then a PO is generated, but the minimum order Qty is ignored:
    Scenario:
    ItemCode: ABC
    Minimum Stock in WH: 40
    Current Stock in WH: 22.984
    Minimum Order Qty : 10
MRP Generated Recomended QTY : 17.016
As this item is purchased in lenghts of 6m's, ordering 0.016 will not be possible. We also need to order a minimum of 10.
As you can see the minimum Order Qty is ignored. The recomendation is suppose to be in batches of 10, so for this item it should have been 20.
    SAP : B1 2007 A SP: 0 PL:47
Any help will be apreciated greatly

    Hi,
Welcome you post on the forum.
Minimum Order in B1 only define the lowest order qty. It doesn't imply this is a minimum order unit. Try Order Multiple to get what you want.
    Thanks,
    Gordon

  • MRP - Purchase Order recommended

    Hello,
Is it possible for MRP to recommend Purchase Orders to be created per warehouse(based on minimum inventory levels per warehouse). Currently, MRP recommends one Purchase Order with a total of the qty's across all the warehouses.
    e.g. Warehouse A Min Qty = 5
           Warehouse B Min Qty = 5
           Warehouse C Min Qty = 5
MRP recommends one Purchase order, Qty 15 and for Warehouse A.
    Thanks
    Janice

    Hi......
The only alternative would be to record the scene of the initial MRP to generate then all orders for a store, changing the numbers in the window of recommendations. Thus, in a second step, MRP run the wizard again to record the new scene will consider the remaining balances to successively make the process as many times as purchase orders from different stores there
    I hope it will help

  • MRP FOR On order stock

    hi
Can anybody pls tell me does system consider open PO qty, On order  stock qty(rejected materials), Open PR qty while MRP run.
If yes How does it happen?
If suppose I want system not to consider above stock in MRP run,
    How can I do It?
    Pls suggest..
    Pravin

    Hi,
I am not sure what you mean by "on order stock qty" (rejected materials), but if you are using MRP type PD it will look at all documents and items that will affect stock (POs, Planned orders, requisitions, sales orders, production orders, PM orders etc. etc.).
This is not configurable or changeable because the logic of PD is "Full planning" or "Plan Deterministic" (determining everything that affects stock).
You have some minor control over things such as "stock in transafer" and "blocked stock", you can decide if MRP should ignore or include these. But if you use PD then all of the above will be considered.
You can use other MRP types such as reorder point planning and this ignores all of the above and just maintains the stock levels above or equal to the reorder point. (although you can even configure reorder point MRP to take orders etc. into consideration).
So unless you switch to reorder point planning or forecast planning you will find that the above types of document / orders will be considered by MRP.

  • PRodn qty to be 2% of sale order

    hi,
my requirement is that when a sale order for a matrl is created for 100nos,the prodn plan has to be always 2% of the sale order, ie the pld order or a prod order should be 102 nos.
is this possible in std SAP. If so how?
    regards

    Rishi,
That is why i wanted to know if there is any system which will boost the pld ord qty by 2% over the sale order qty after MRP run.
Absolutely, this is standard functionality.  The answer was give to you earlier by expert Sundaresan
Maintain assembly scrap as 2 % in MRP1 view of the material master , when you run MRP ,System will plan for 102 qty,
.  However, you rejected this answer, it appeared this did not comply with your business model.
This is the business model that has me baffled.  Why would a business invest resources (Raw materials, Labor hours, etc) to physically build 102 pcs, but then tell themselves it only cost M/L/O equivalent to build 100?  If you actually performed the work to build 102, why wouldn't you book the cost for 102?

  • ISO consideration for calculation of MRP per Safetystock adds more demand

    Hi Planning experts,
Internal Sales order consideration for aggregate demand which uses for Safetystock calculation based on MRP Planned percentage safety stock adds more demand in the warehouse.
We have ASCP Plan where X1 warehouse procures material from X2 Inventory organization through ISO created from Plan, after transfer Planned order releases from X2 and We have Safety stock calculated based on MRP percentage method in individual warehouses.
Since ISO considered for aggregated demand to safety stock, and acts as a individual demand for Plan adds of more demand to the plan and recommending additional Planned order supplies by ASCP engine.
Procurement rule: X2 --->X1through ISO recommended by Plan
    Steps to Reproduce :
Goto ISCP Responsibility > Advanced Supply CHain Planner >Workbench > Open Plan > query PWB data for X1 warehouse for any item which is procuring from X2 org for ex:Item: Y1 , verify the safety stock for this item in X1 and verify the ISO created from X2 through early Planned order releases from Plan, so there is additional demand equals to ISO qty observed, where ISO qty not required to be considered for aggregated demand used for MRP Planned percentage safety stock calculation for item:Y1.
Need to exclude ISO qty for MRP Planned safety stock calculation, please let us know how to exclude ISO for safety stock calculation, so additional supply will not be recommended by ASCP.
Please let me know, if u have any idea how to crack this issue.

-->What is the shortcut to change location type in APO?
Report /SAPAPO/CHECK_LOCATION_TYPE can be used to change location type (say from 1001 to 1002 or vice-versa)
can you check if this works - cos i think you need to use/SAPAPO/CHANGE_LOCTYPE
--> Can SAP APO be used as a stand-alone solution?
*of course, as a stand-alone planning solution it can be !!
and the connected executed system, which need not be ECC, is to give a well rounded solution
there are organizations that have APO alone and integrate to other execution systems, and there are companies that have implemented APO first and R3 later. there are companies that just need planning and dont have to execute it (transport planning and demand planning)*
