Incorrect requirement quantity in MD04

Dear experts,
Transaction WC27 runs in 00:05 everyday,it expended 1 hour.In this period,if I make some document with transaction MFBF(e.g. HALB A +100, exploded materail ROH B -200).In MD04,requirement quantity will change( B requiement quantity will reduce 200).Now in our system,requirement quantity still do not change( B requiement quantity is 200 ).
Remarks:system version R/3 470.

Hello,
I need to round a requirement quantity of component in subcontracting PO automatically? So in MD04 it shows as rounded quantities not just the base on BOM cmponent quantity ( Only for component what we send to vendor not the kit we recieving back ).

It just help planners to plan better.
We already cofigured so the components gets pick at rounded value on WM side. Its just MM side, if we can round the value for subsequent requirements. (Component requirement QTY - ERFMG)

Tables for MRP requirements quantity.

Dear Experts,
I have requirements where in I want to know the table from which I will get the the material requirements quantity.
Example is as below;
I have given PIR through MD61 of "ABC" material as 100 qty.
After this through MD02 i will generate requirements which will appear in Stock Requirements list MD04.
If stock is available then accordingly it will create PR/Planned order.
Here my requirement is that i want to display pure requiremnets that is 100 qty irrespective of what stock is available.
In which table i will get this pure requiremts.
Please help.

PBED - PIR items
MDKP
MDTB
Also you can use FM: MD_STOCK_REQUIREMENTS_LIST_API. Best is use this FM.

Negative Available quantity in MD04

Hi Experts,
We have negative available quantity in MD04. There are no receipts generated particularly for some period even after MRP Run.

Check the MRP type in material master. If this is ND, then system will not make any procurement proposal. Also check the strategies such Make to stock / make to order. If the requirement strategy & the strategy in the material master differs, then also there will not be any procurement proposal.

MRP Logic -Negative Available quantity in MD04

Hi Experts,
We have negative available quantity in MD04. There are no receipts generated particularly for some period even after MRP Run.
MRP Type is maintained as P1- MRP Fixing type.
Safety time is maintained as 3 days.
Planning strategy is 40.
Please suggest, what would be the reason, why i am not getting schedule lines between 09-Aug and 27-Aug which makes available quantity minus, after that there are generation of schedule lines.
Please help with inputs..

MRP type P1 is used with planning time fence(mandatory).
Have you used pl time fence. How many days? For those period system will not generate any more planned order.

Incorrect requirements type in sales doc.

HI,
Due to incorrect requirements types of material the costs and sales volume are posted directly to sales doc instead of posting
to WBS element.
How can this be fixed (after cancellation of posting)?
How can we identify already created u201Cincorrectu201D sales docs?

Hi !
regarding your query, there may be various sales documents type which might be created during configuration.
Some of these might not be required by end users and need to be blocked so that wrong document types are not chosen. so an indicator 'X' is placed againt these document types and these can not be used.
There may be some documents wherein manual creation might not be allowed, and auto creation is desired. so againt these doc types-'A' is placed by which these doc types can not be created manually,
Other sales doc types might not be blocked so that they can be used or created manually, hence kept blank against the indicator field.

Changing the Requirement Quantity in Reserations

Dear PS Experts,
In a Project, I created a reservation of 5 units of item A. Then I issued 2 items against the reservation.
Later on I tried to change my reservation requirement quantity to 6 and SAP allowed it. Then I changed the same quantity to 1 which is below the issued quantity even that was allowed.
My question is why are the above changes allowed after material issue takes place ? (is it a common business requirement)
Else, is there an SPRO setting where we can restrict the above?

Hi,
That is the standard SAP functionality only. This is not a strange behaviour of the system. If you create any reservations manually, the system will allow to change at any point of time. While creating the production order or MRP created planned orders will create the reservations. That reservations you can't change.

How to make field requirement quantity mandatory in maint order?

Hi Experts,
I would like to make filed RESBD-MENGE - requirement quantity field in component tab of maintenance order mandatory. But I am not getting the IMG settings for this. I checked this screen settings for components for PM/CS orders. But I didn't get this field in that screen. Can anybody help me out on this?

Hi,
I need this to activate for all order types. I think this can be accomplished by user exit IWO10009, which will trigger during saving event. I didn't try for this but i used this exit previously for checking during saving event for some other field. I think this can be used here also so that while saving the system will check the field and if the field is empty, system will give the error message. some coding may required to check the field.
If you have any alternative idea kindly share.

Requirement quantity and quantity withdrawn are not matching

From a production order the requirement quantity of one component is 4 and for another component, it is 2. But the withdrawn quantity for the first component is 5 and for the 2nd component it is 0. This has caused a COGI error.
Also the total quantity and the delivered quantity is shown as 6.
How can this be corrected and prevented from happening in the future.

Batch management is not used for both the components.
For both the components the storage location is mentioned in the components overview of the production order. When I checked in the material master the same storage location is existing in the materiala master also

Dear Gurus,
I have found a strange behavior in SAP PM order processing.
Even after withdrawing the spare parts, system is allowing to change the required quantity.
If someone is increasing the quantity thats fine.
But if someone is decreasing the quantity, system should not allow it.
System is giving below information message:
CN 752
Requirement quantity & & smaller than quantity withdrawn & &
I want to give error in such scenario.
I have tried setting an error message for above message, but its not working.
Any help in this regard will be highly appreciated.

Thank you very much for your inputs.
I have checked that, but it is still not working for me.
I have debugged the standard code and found that it is hard coded over there as information message for message CN 752, and system is not checking any table while issuing the message.
However for message CN 750, system checks the table and decides accordingly, whether to give warning or error.
Hence, it is clear that it will be information message only.
I will be mapping my requirement with user exit CNEX0026, where i will check the withdrawn quantity and required quantity and decide on whether to give error or not.

Reservation: withdrawn quantity exceeded requirement quantity

Is there a way to check why withdrawn quantity exceeded requirement quantity in reservation? System should get standard message M7362 when this happens. Settings in OMCQ are correct.

Hi,
The message might relevant for the scenario of GI to reservation, which issued quantity greater then reserved quantity in reservation.
You may check your reservation with MB25 for listing your reservation document and I suggest to use MB26 for collective and more accurate GI processing of relevant reservations.

Required Quantity are not copy from BOM

Dear SAP GURU,
I encounter this situation when i try Convert Plan Order ---> PO , Or Try create Process Order Manully.
But the issue here , when i look into the Material component list , the quantity for all required quantity are "ZERO".
I suspecting the Table is locked and that's why when convert to PO is "ZERO".
Can anyone tell me how to investigate this issue please?

Requirement quantity - in cj20n

Hello All,
Our business requirment is - "Requirement quanitity should not be entered/ modified in project builder"(CJ20N).
In Project builder we can enter requirement quantity at 2 places.
1. Hilighting activity and select component overview -> we can enter material and quantity. we were able to grey out this field.
2. Select the Component in the structure -> General data tab - > Requirement Qty.
we were not able to achive the second point. where are the config setting can any one suggest the solution.

Yes, I used the same earlier.
But this is only graying out the option 1 in my question, not option 2.
There are 2 fields settings " Detailed view of materials" and " Material overview" in define field selection for components.
In the "Material overview" - we have requirement quantity field - so that we have greyed out.
In the "Detailed view of material" - the is no requirement quantity field to grey out.
There may be some other way ....so that we can grey out the field in both the places in the cj20n.

Incorrect "Ordered" quantity in the item master data

Hello Experts,
I have a situation where there are two items we have found that show the incorrect ordered quantity in the item master data. This is in fact the ordered column and the items are not production items. One of the items is showing a negative quantity and the other is showing 50,000 LBs less than it should given the one open production order with NO GRPO documents linked. Please advise ASAP..

You need to check the detect query and the scenarios in the Note No. : 999124.
If the detect query of the Note returns result, you need to log a support ticket to get the database investigated.

Capture ERFMG - Requirement quantity for a component

I have a requirement where in i need to capture the requirement quantity for a component(ERFMG).
The problem is the value exists only at runtime in the following structure MDPM.
I am writing the code in an exit EXIT_SAPMM06E_013 where in i cannot capture this value from this structure.It is not storing in a database table also . how can i get this value ?

Thank you for your post!
It is exactly what I have done but as I above mentioned:
Subsequent problem
The system schedules the dates correctly on the component level, but re-schedules the dates for the project the day you schedule and erase the complete old scheduling dates except for the activities with constraints.
If I have an "old" scheduled project and I add some new components anywhere in the complete project structure additional needs. I go then to the project definition level and schedule the complete project. My result is that on project definition and WBS elements no changes but on all activities (without confirmation) the system put the start date the day which I re-schedule the project.
That what I want to avoid and let the initial planned schedule date on activity level the same as before re-scheduling the project.
Do you have any further advices?
