Incorrect status indication in OEM.
Hi,
Oracle Enterprise Manager 10g (OEM) seems to indicate incorrectly the status of the database instance/the agent connection in windows 2003. I was able to connect and manipulate oracle database using SQLPlus/SQL Developer, but the OEM kept indicate that the Database instance, and the agent connectivity are down. Has anyone noticed this, and has any explaination for it?

EM has it's own configuration for the databases that it is monitoring - that is how it knows what to monitor and where the agents are. Did something change? I have seen this sort of behavior when I created a database with an underscore in its name (dbca doesn't seem to like this and removes the underscore). I then modified the database specific scripts to incoude the underscore in the name, but did not do the same for EM since those scripts were not saved when I saved the db creation scripts. I found by looking in the EM logs that it was trying to connect to the wrong dbname. Sorry, I don't have the names of the config files handy but you should have a sysman directory and then a directory for your instance name and then a config directory. The EM config files are a combination of xml and property files.

System Center 2012 DPM SP1 Incorrect Status Indication
I have a protection group that is protecting files on a windows server 2008 r2 server. The status of the protection group is Replica is inconsistent. If I perform a consistency check, the status changes to OK with the green check circle. However, the latest
recovery point is 8 days old. When I try to restore, the old recovery point is my most recent option. If I check the files being backed up on the protected server, there are newer files that should have been backed up.
If I check for Today's Jobs, I see the consistency check failed, even though in the Protection view, it has the OK status. I get the specific error in DPM: The replica of Volume c:\ on xxx is not consistent with the protected data source. DPM error ID =
30076. (ID 33123).
The Event logs on the DPM server and the protected server are not indicating any errors associated with the consistency check.
I have a total of 8 protection groups on the DPM server, 3 of which are performing in the manner described above.

Incorrect status in FM report for paid invoices
hello,
I'm working in ECC 6.0 with Former budgeting.
I have several invoices which are created in 2008 but paid in 2009 or in 2010. There are then different fiscal year impacted.
When the invoices are paid, they don't have the value type Payment - Amount type Paid in FM report (FMRP_RFFMEP1AX - All Postings). The invoices still have the status Invoices Original.
As the invoices dont have the status Paid, they are carryforwarded to the next year.
How can I correct that?
When I use the transaction FMF0, the invoices are updated with the current year (2011) in FM report.
And this is not correct.
Is there any customizing to avoid the incorrect status of paid invoices in FM report?

Please, check your settings in t-code OF29: do you have the flag 'Deactivate check on fiscal year change' On? if you have this flag marked, this could be a reason why you are facing this issue.

Incorrect Status in Pricing issue_short dump
Hi,
All of sudden when we create sc non catalog, its giving short dump. Its uncaught exception ie Its CX_BBP_PD_ABORT exception..only error message that i found relevant is " incorrect status in pricing".. I checked IPC and its active and running..
I did manual check for IPC (simulation of pricing using manual check) and it gave the same "incorrect status in pricing"
Did anybody came across this issue.. Is this something to do with UOM's? I was able to create catalog sc and internal goods/services based sc...only non-catalog sc is giving short dump..
I searched couple of notes and couldn't hit the right one and i dont want to activate simplified pricing so that we can avoid IPC altogether.
Appreciate any hits/clues..

I am wondering if this error is something to do with any missing UOM's in SRM. I see one message in these short dumps..
"ST" physical unit not available"..
Already checked 781669 note..but it seems this is old note and not applicable..as we are already on SAPKIBKT11 patch level.

After the patch we are getting many dums in production system.

I have done the Simulation which shows everything is fine and i have chcked with BBP_CND_CUSTOMIZING_CHECK t-codes even that is also correct only .
we are plannning for rasing the issue with SAP.
Besides that the system might have activated the BADI simple pricing active (or something like that). This would give trouble as well with the IPC (they can't both be active).

In this case, you have to pay atention in the following details:
Have you attempted restarting the IPC? Are you using the correct
version (note 533877)? Is the IPC active ? Is IPC running in VMC (
Virtual Machine Container) ?
Otherwise, the reason could be that the VMC installation have been
corrupted:
I.e: certain files were missed in the installation. Therefore pricing,
and consequently shopping cart creation fails.
For a quick solution I propose to apply the latest AP 7.00 pricing
patch from service marketplace (please follow note 880749 how to apply
an AP patch). As a patch is always a full installation of all required
Java parts, pricing should work fine afterwards.
Additional notes to take a look:

the vesion SRM 7.0 was updated the version SP5 to SP8 of ABAP and other components like java. after that changes the sistems was Ok. but now no working when try make sc since catalog or free text the sistem show a dump Incorrect status in pricing.
ran the transaction bbp_cnd_check_cust
and no show problem since catalog price simulation or manual price simulation.
some idea what happening.

Messages Beta can do the same indications for the older style iChat Buddy List the same as iChat does/did.
The iMessage Login (the "Account" in the Messages Menu > Preferences > Accounts that deals with sending iMessages to iPhones and iPads) does not have the same indicators.
What it does do is indicate the options in the "To" spot for the Name that is currently shown there.
To explain that a bit further.
When you click New Message the Blue Plus icon appears
You can select Contacts from this list and navigate to a Contact in the Address Book
Once you select a Contact their Name is in the "To" spot
If you now click this it becomes a Drop down and the iMessage details they have are marked with a blue Speech bubble.
IF you select an iMessage Contact this way and they are Off Line the name will go red.

Process chain status shows incorrect status
When ever i receive bad data requests from R/3, BW pulls the error requests into a separate PSA and pass-thru the good once in another PSA and then into datatarget.
However the overall status is green for the job/package and the package when executed in ProcessChain does not show an errors. But the errors are not noticed until user notices it in the qyuery.
How to capture such errors and notified, is their any automation possible? I have setup e-mail on process chain failures but these kind of errors are not captured because the overall status of request is GREEN.
Here is the status on infopackage.
Incorrect data records - error requests (total status GREEN)
Diagnosis
Data records were recognized as incorrect.
System response
The valid records were updated in the data target and can be used in reporting.
The incorrect records were not written to the data target, but were posted retractively under a new request number in the PSA.
Procedure
Check the data in the error requests, correct the errors, and post the error requests.Hi Gopikrishna,
Please check if "Error Handling" in the Update Tab of your Infopackage has been enabled, I guess it is.
If this has been enabled , then the error recs will be isolated and only the Correct records will be posted into the Data Target. It is the responsibility of the BW Administrator to identify such errored records, correct them and Post it back to the DAta target. Because error handling is used, the Monitor will show Green, as all the error recs have been separated.
To avoid this, you have to remove Error Handling from the INfopackage, then you will see the Load failing and the Process Step in the process chain would turn RED with the corresponding error messages.

Hi, a cordial greeting.
I turn on this opportunity to present a case being presented with the subsequent delivery split.
Then the details:
1.- We have a couple of deliveries (A and B) in a shipment.
2.- To one generates a TO (A), but for the partial quantity of each item delivery. The other delivery (B), was not generating any OT.
3.- It confirms the previous OT.
4.- Delivery (A) that were processed its partial quantities, we made subsequent delivery split. It uses the BAPI BAPI_OUTB_DELIVERY_SPLIT_DEC.
5.- According to the split profile, confirmed quantities, are in the original delivery (A). The delivery result of the partition, it´s excluding from shipment, and the original delivery which keeps the split remainder, remains in the original shipment.
6.- The new delivery (C) is generated with the items and quantities that were not included in the TO of the first delivery (A).
7.- In this delivery (C), it sets the Transportation Planning Status as Completely Processed (VBUK-TRSTA = "C") at the header, but this is not included in any shipment.
Described the situation, the problem occurs in the Transportation Planning Status that is fixed in the new delivery, which is incorrect, since it should set the status Not Processed (VBUK-TRSTA = "A").
It should be noted, that if the subsequent split delivery is effected by the VLSP transaction to delivery to the above conditions, the new delivery fixes the Transportation Planning Status like No Processed.

If indicator "Execute billing" is set in the activity profile and new deliveries have been included in the transportation; or
if indicator "Execute billing" is set in the activity profile and the overall status of the shipment cost calculation of the transportation has changed.
Also note Customer-specific rules for the specification of the transportation planning status can be taken into account with user exit EXIT_SAPLV56U_007.

Have posted the document for the month of november 2009 through HR-FI integration. After that tried to reverse the same but that time period was not open and its showing as Incorrect reversal. We are on E-Rec 604 with seperated standalone e-rec system.
I have a problem with the password of external candidates. When an external candidate is registered in the application, introduce user and password and all mandatory fields and all work ok. He can enter in his profile, introduce all fields, apply offers, etcu2026
But when he log off and try to access again, the password is incorrect. If the external candidate Request a new password all works ok and when introduce this one and change this initial password, this new one let him to access in the future login in the correct way.
I realized that this is because the USER in R3 of the external candidate is cretaed with the field Password Status set to Initial password (set by administrator) and I think it is wrong, the status must be Product. Password. Instead, when request new password and set the new one the field status is Product. Password., the correct statusu2026
I´m very confused I don´t know what can I did wrong.
The type of the user is Dialog and the user that create all the external candidates user is the WF-BATCH my workflow useru2026 I think perhaps this is the reasonu2026 This is the correct user to create the external users?. Perhaps.. I set the assigned agent bad in any Workflowu2026?

This smartforms seems to have a password generation mechanism, which overwrites the password of the user with a new initial one.
