Incorrect Warranty date

I have 2 systems that were purchased in Feb. 2013.  One has died.  HP shows warranty expired in Aug. 2013.  How do I get the date corrected I have been working on this for 2 weeks, and now am almost out of actual warranty.

    and then Sales order.
    But the requirement is create notification then sales order and when you go in va02 and while modifying the sales order and create service order.

  • Process in restarting a FRP-run: how to prevent incorrect analytics data

    Hi,
    Today we encountered an issue where stock-data where not transfered to F&R. As a result OrderProposals generated during FRP-run were based on incorrect stock stock-values. As a result also the OrderProposals resulting from the FRP-run were considered incorrect and have been deleted by the business.
    After stocks were processed correctly to F&R, a new FRP-run was done for the first 4 sequences in /FRE/FRP_MID_BASIC. (Note that we have these first 4 steps executed in the time critical window, and the Analytics step as a separate job directly afterwards).
    Result is ofcourse new, correct, OrderPropsals but also a second run of the Analytics step on the same planning-day. As a result, in table /FRE/ANA_WEEKLY the STOCK_COUNTER is increased 2 times during one planning-day, which will cause incorrect data at the end of the week regarding average weekly-stock level.
    It appears, every time the Analytics-step in /FRE/FRP_MID_BASIC is executed on a day, the STOCK_COUNTER field is updated. (this can be reproduced). The result will be incorrect Analytics data if that happens, but on the other hand: not executing the Analytics step a second time during the planning-day will also result in incorrect Analytics data as in that case it would in my situation have contained the stock-data from yesterday(as the initial issue was that current actual stock-data was not sent to F&R)
    Is this a bug in F&R, or am I missing something? If there is a guide on what steps to execute under what conditions if FRP-run has to be executed again, or how to correct any (incorrect)Analytics data built up during previous runs?

    But I am not able to find "Incorrect Entry Date" and "Corrected Entry Date" Actions anywhere. Not even the drop down of Actions List
    Where are they acually?

    As said by our Gurus PA41 is used to change the Corrected entry and incorect entry
    u can do the same thru PA40 if u select 70 and 71 action types this screens are nothing bu the screens u see in PA41

    My client procures spares for the plant. few spares have warranty periods. i want to enter the warranty dates. and later warranty period is to be searched for the perticular material.

    Hi Friend,
    1.In the material master  plantdata2  tab maintain the serial no profile(MM01)
    2.Go to Txcode iq01 create the serial no,there u have to maintain the warranty periods.
    3.go to txcode bgm1 u have to create the master warrany.
    4.goto txcode ik11 for claim the warranty.
    I think these steps are usefull for u.

  • PROCESS CHAIN error "Incorrect start date"

    I have parent chain in that a newly created meta chain is creating problem.I am getting error in the process chains since two days i am not able to solve this.Can anybody try to help me.

    After that the process chain is turning red,but when i manually execute the process chain its running properly.
    Please help me its urgent.

    Solution:
    first exchange the variant with the smae and then activate and run.After that it will work in the process chain.

    Under SAP ISU FICA, transaction FP70 can be used to process the ADDACS file received from banks in UK.
    However SAP does not allow creation of manual lot in FP70.
    Can someone recommend how can we create a incorrect bank data lot and test the configuration of activies against each return reason?

  • Search results showing incorrect modified date

    Hi All,
    I have a one difficulty in search results.
    Document showing incorrect modified date in search results. And this happens for one document only.
    We have customized the search/results.aspx page, Our document is showing correct modified date in document properties,All Items.aspx like 31/4/2013.
    But when i search with document name in search, result showing incorrect modified date like 24/6/2004.
    I checked with database in SQL, every thing is fine.
    I have updated the Modified date through powershell script for one document and after that this recent modified date is showing in search results.
    But after updating the Modified date through powershell, issued document not showing the recent modified date in search results. still showing as 24/6/2004.
    I should not do edit property and save, to create new version.
    I don't know what is happening in search crawl. All ready full crawl running daily basis.
    I want to check whether this issued document is crawling or not. Could anybody help me to get out of this. what is the main cause of this issue.

    I'm seeing the same issue after upgrading the SharePoint 2010 to SharePoint 2013.
    When I search any upgraded document in SharePoint 2013, the document's "Last Modified Date" was showing an incorrect value in Search Results page but other metadata of document like "Last Modified User" is showing the correct
    value so the problem is not with document crawl, something wrong with Last Modified Date property in Search results.
    I have seen below comment as answer but I didn't understand the solution to fix this issue for all upgraded documents.
    The most likely cause is that there is metadata on the documents that is set to that date which is overriding the other dates in the search result. SharePoint isn't particulary imaginative so it's got to be finding that date from somewhere.
    Do we have any solution for this issue? Is this issue will be addressed in SharePoint 2013 SP1?
    Note: No issues with documents, which uploaded after upgrade.

  • Incorrect Document Date in a Posted AP Invoice

    We have an AP invoice that was posted with an incorrect Document Date. - 12/20/1011. The date is causing problems with exporting the results of an SQ01 Query Results to MS Excel.  I have been told by SAP Support that the date canot be changed because "The reason behind this system design is to protect criticalaccounting document data and to avoid fiscal period close problems, e.g., audit control, out of balance situations" . Here are my Questions:
    1) Why would the application alllow a document year of 1011 to be posted?
    2) How does the document date impact the fiscal period close?
    3) How can the date be changed? Reversing the document doesn't resolve the problem.
    4) How do I prevent this from happening again?

    Thanks for the reply.
    I can understand the resason for not being able to change the Posting Date. But what are the reasons for not being able to change the Document Date? What is the fiscal reason for not being able to change the Document Date? Please provide an example. Reversing the document doesn't work in this case as the SQ01 report would still include the incorrect date.

  • Incorrect GL Date in Invoice Distributions

    Hi,
    A client has an issue where the GL Date in the Invoice Distributions screen (28-Feb-13) isn't lining up with the GL Date entered in the Invoice Header and Lines screens (01-Mar-13). Because of this, GL reporting shows the expense in the FEB-13 Period, when it should be in the MAR-13 period. I'm thinking the incorrect GL Date in the Invoice Distributions screen is a user error in entering data, but is there any other way this could have happened (Setup)?
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Ideally whatever GLdate you enter @ INvoice header gets populated @ Invoice line level, however user can change/modify during entering details@ Invoice line level
    Have you tried creating one Inovice in a test Instance where the dates are mismatching from Header and at Line level , if not can you try once creating a manual AP Invoice

  • Warranty Date field in the equipment master data

    Hi everyone!
    I wanted to display the warranty date field in the equipment master data (IE01). I have already made the configuration and added the additional tab and screen thru this path:
    Plant Maintenance and Customer Service > Master Data in Plant Maintenance and Customer Service > Technical Objects > General Data > Set View Profile for Technical Objects
    But still, the tab is not added and the warranty date field is not found in the "Define Field Selection for the Equipment Master Record". please help me with this. We need this data because we are not using serial numbering and warranty master data that's why a way to track the warranty date is thru this adjustment in the equipment master data screen.

      Make sure that you have assigned this specific profile to the Equipment category of the associated equipment that you are creating under SPRO > PM> Master data> tech object > Equipment > Equip category.

  • Asset incorrect capitalization date

    An asset is created with an incorrect capitalization date with date feb 2007. now they found out the cap date should be 12/01/2007, so the asset is posted with addl depreciation for 10 months . how to credit depreciation
    What is the ideal way to correct it.
    Fyi..2007 is already closed.

    Thanks for your response..I realize I just have to write up depreciation using ABZU, but do I need to make any changes to the asset master  to the depreciation start date
    Also when I use ABZU/ ttype 700 to writeup does it recalculate depreciation.
