INCORRECTL​Y CHARGED FOR DEPOSIT, NOT GETTING REFUND

I purchased a new phone from a Verizon store about three weeks back. I was asked to pay a deposit of 400 dollars, which I was told, would be refunded if I paid my bills regularly for a year. The representative at the store *incorrecly* swiped my card twice and I have ended up paying 800 dollars. I have been contacting Verizon's several departments everyday, (Finance, local store and Customer Service) from the time I got the phone. No one seems willing to help and will not give me any proper information on when I will receive the 400 dollars that I was charged for no reason. I am sick of calling all your departments and hoping that someone will help. I am out of 800 dollars and no one seems to care!!!!!

  • Incorrectl​y charged $250 deposit. Verizon refuses to refund.

    I signed up for service on 09/25 (to start on October 1) and the Verizon sales agent, after running a credit check, told me at that time that I needed to pay a $250 deposit. This surprised me and when I asked why, she replied that there were a variety of factors that went into it, and not just my credit score. So I went ahead and agreed. A couple of days later, I was still puzzled and called back about it and was given the same answer. At the end of last week, I received a letter in the mail from Verizon stating that the *only* reason I had to pay this deposit was because I had "No credit history" after they checked with Transunion. Having always had good credit rating, this really surprised me and I called Transunion myself and they verified that I did indeed have credit history and a good one at that.
    Back to Verizon again, where I try to clarify this. They run my credit check again and a different sales agent this time says she has no idea why I was charged a deposit ! She tells me to check with FInancial services for a refund, who passes me off to the credit dept, who then sends me back to sales. This third sales agent confirms that the original person who signed me up used the short form of my first name - without confirming it with me(!!) - and that's why I was charged a deposit, while the second one didn't and used my full legal name. I point out that this is their fault and that I am owed the $250 at this point. This agent says the only way I can get my $250 back is to wait a year or quit my services(!) - even though this entire situation was created by Verizon in the first place. I try repeatedly pointing out that it is their fault - all to no avail.
    I switched to Verizon from Comcast because of crappy customer service, and I am pretty frustrated and disappointed with the same treatment here. I am hoping customer service on this forum can help out.

Before the agent can begin assisting you, they will need to collect further information from you.Please go to your profile page for the forum, and look in the middle, right at the top where you will find an area titled "My Support Cases". You can reach your profile page by clicking on your name beside your post, or at the top left of this page underneath the title of the board.
    Under “My Support Cases” you will find a link to the private board where you and the agent may exchange information. This should be checked on a frequent basis as the agent may be waiting for information from you before they can proceed with any actions. To ensure you know when they have responded to you, at the top of your support case there is a drop down menu for support case options. Open that and choose "subscribe".
    Please keep all correspondence regarding your issue in the private support portal.

  • Credit card charged for $80, not on bill or owed

    While going through my credit card transactions, I found a charge for ~$80. I looked at the bill from comcast and nothing shows that I paid or owed those $80. I would call customer service but I work during the hours that it is open. I was thinking of opening a dispute with my credit card, but first I want to see if I can get this resolved. Thanks.

    Your email address is also used as your user ID. When you log in, it would like up with your new acct as well. If your new address is not showing, you'll need to link it to your user ID.
    Sign in to My Account.
    Click Billing and Payments.
    At the top of the page, look for Service address | Rename or link another account.
    Click on Rename or link another account.
    In the new window, click Add an account.
    Enter the account number and, if you’d like, create a nickname for the account. Click Confirm.
    If you have more accounts to link, you can click Add an account again.
    When you are finished, click I’m done.
    That will allow you to view your new account and statements. Your previous account is no longer active. A credit balance was transferred over to your new account already.

    When you pay a company (rather than an ebay seller or individual), then it is always pending until that company processes your order and captures the pending payment.
    If they don't process that order and capture the pending payment then the pending status times out at 30 days post-payment. So you should get your money after day 30 post payment.      ****************************************** I give up my time to help you so a thank you or kudos would be cool.

  • Movies Purchased, Charged For, But Not In Library

    Long story short: I bought some movies last week, and started loading them into my library. My computer suddenly froze (loooong unrelated story, has nothing to do with iTunes), leaving me with no choice but to reboot. I went back to iTunes, and they weren't loading any more (they had been about half way loaded when I had to reboot). I checked my library, they weren't there. I checked my wishlist, thinking that maybe the whole thing had been undone: they weren't there either. The next day, I was charged for all the movies. Any ideas on how I can either get a refund or get the movies without being charged again?

  • I woke this morning, And found my i phone 4 in a dead condition, and tried to charge, It is not getting started and is completely dead,why ?

    I woke up this morning and found my iPhone 4 is off condition, With the assumption that is needs to be charged, I tried to hook up for charging, I haven't succeed in this attempt, The phone is not getting started, even i charge it, Help me out.

    Try a reset:
    - hold the home button and sleep/wake button down at the same time for atleast 15 seconds
    - if you see the Apple logo appear rlease both buttons
    If that fails try charging the iPhone while plugged into the wall adaptor and also while plugged into the computer. Try cahrging both ways for atleast 15-20 minutes. Also while its plugged into the computer check and see if the computer or iTunes will recognise that the iPhone is connected.

    We are using Tcode FV60 for Park Vendor invoice                                        
    We are trying to post the Document thru Tcode FBV0 , But the Post field is grey and system shows error: func not possible as document is in not released. The Workflow is not getting triggered. And hence its not possible to release the doc.
    The workflows have been activcated
    We have done Eventlinkage and activated it.

    In future when you post question please do some formatting. It seems like a novel.
    Have you checked in SWEL whether the event CREATED of Business Object BSEG getting triggered. I hope you have activated the linkage between event and workflow from PFTC or SWE2 transaction code.

  • BADI implementation for NOTIF_EVENT_POST not getting triggered

    Hi All,
            We have created an implementaion for the NOTIF_EVENT_POST. And it was working fine previously. Now it is not working for some reason. In fact issue is that the implemetation is not getting triggerd at all. I have put a BREAK-POINT statement in the code, but does not even goes into the code.
    I have checked all the properties. It is active. The table V_EXT_IMP has a entry corresponding to the BADI definition and implementation.
    I tried to debug the standard transaction IW52 (which uses this). The program runs till the FM call for CL_EXITHANDLER=>GET_INSTANCE. It created a instance also. But it does not get inside the call for the method of the BADI LR_BADI_INST->CHECK_DATA_AT_POST.
    I am at a fix now. Can somebody answer this issue? It would be very helpful.

    I did not get the issue with the BADI implementation. But as our time line was very tight, we moved the code to BTE event for Updating Notifications.
    This required a little tweaking of the code and now it is working.
    I am marking it ANSWERED so as to remove it from the list of unanswered questions.

  • Issue in Production for Workflow not getting Triggered .

    Hi Guys,
    I have a workflow, which is properly triggering in the development and Quality but not getting triggered in the Production. Can't get the Exaact reason because by using T-code PFTC when i test the workflow independantly its working properly and even BOR does not have any problem. Please Help me guys as this is a issue in Production.
    The workflow is a customized one, It getting triggered throught the funtion call in User Exit of MM01.

I hope the workflow customization is done properly in production system, as you stated that if you are trying to trigger from PFTC then it is working fine, can you please try to Refresh Organizational Environment  from SBWP ---> On MEnu  ---> Settings  --> Workflow Settings  ---> Refresh Organizational Environment and  secondly try to refresh the buffer from txn SWU_OBUF
    2. Make sure the user exit is transported to Production.
    3. Check the workflow log from the txn SWIA  if you have proper authorizations for the userid.

  • Javascript method for clientListener not getting invoked

    Hi, I am trying to use a clientListener to call a javascript method when an image that's linked gets clicked on, but the javascript method is not getting invoked. I'm using Jdev 11g. E.g.

  • L7680 printer - when i try to set up for wireless, not getting that option in setup menu

    Have been using the L7680 a couple of years hardwired to hub.  Trying to set up as wireless (as supposedly equipped), but not getting prompts in setup to allow, and when I run config, indicates off line.  Tried to connect to PC and rerun setup, but nothing changed.  Advice?

  • Charged for texts not received

    My messaging usage reports lists a number of texts that I never received on my iPhone 4S or in my "Send a Message" page through "My Verizon" on the website. Why can I not see texts that were sent to me yet they are being recorded in usage and charged as texts to my account? This seems fraudent to me. This is happening between an iPhone (mine) and an android phone from other carrier.

        I appreciate your reply, nikki0978. I can confirm the detailed usage section is for unbilled messaging records. The 90 day log contains the messages that have gone through the billing system and validated. It appears that you are not being billed for these messages. We certainly want you to receive all of your messages! Does this only happen with one specific contacts? Are they with another carrier or Verizon Wireless? Do they also use an iPhone? I am eager to get to the bottom of this!
