Incorrectly credited on my account

I downloaded a cd and bought it as a gift, so it could be sent to a friend, but they charged my credit card instead of using the credit i have on my itunes account. how do i get reimbursed?

You cannot purchase gifts with iTunes cards.
Also, you don't download albums (not CDs) you gift. An email is sent to whomever you gifted it to. They download it.

    Your best corse of action would be to either email apple support or ring them giving them your debit I'd and the order number where they will be able to look at what's wrong and set u going on the right track

  • Clearing Difference in Foreign Credits House Bank Account

    Dear All,
                 We are facing a problem while clearing a Foreign Credits House Bank Account. While clearing an account through F-03 the system is prompting an entry to be posted in Exchange Difference Gain/Loss Account. Now such an entry was never prompted. It is also observed that there is a difference in the Valuated amounts and local currency amounts of the open items. Now we never post exchange valuation entries for Bank account (Entries always posted for Vendor & Customer Reconciliation Accounts). What could be the reason for the difference? Is this got anything to do with F.05 Foreign Currency Valuation. We do not post entries through F.05. We just run the report for the Vendors.
    Please suggest a way out.

    Please check the clearing details of your transaction. The system must be creating gain/loss in local currency. consider the following example..
    AT the time of transaction Recording (Rate was 80)
                   US $(Foreign Currency)     Pak Rs (Local Currency)
    Bank In Account   Debit                           100          8,000
         Receivable credit                 100               8,000
    At time of reconciliation (clearing with ff67) system created  following  entries using rate 78 at the time of clearing which is wrong. should should clear the bank on the statement date (value datea of transaction) and not clearing date.
    Bank account Debit               100                    7,800
         Bank in Account Credit               100                    8,000
    Exchange Gain Loss debit               0                     200
    The gain/loss account is debited by 200 in local currency but no impact in foreign currency...

  • GL accounts incorrectly marked as reconciliation accounts.

    Hi All,
    We have a few accounts in test environment that are incorrectly marked as recon accounts. These accounts are supposed to get manual postings which is not possibe. I am thinking about the options: 1) Reverese the postings? 2) Any program that allows you to automactically reset recon account field so that mass changes can be made to many accounts?

    Please try to make the balance to zero for all currency existed in this account of your Company code.
    you could check it in FS10N via document currency button. If the balance is zero, then the Master data of this account can be changed.
    Addition,in case, you meet any error message, please try to change this message's status to warning or
    information message.
    For the functionality of changing the account master data massly, I feel very regret that as far as I know
    there is not standard functionality existed unless create a little ABAP PRG by yourself.

    Well, of course a rescue address which is the same as the main address (which doesn't work) isn't a lot of use.

    You will need to provide payment information in addition to your gift card details. If the items that you are purchasing cost less including any taxes than the amount of credit you have on your account, then iTunes will you take the cost of purchase from your credit first.

So i went onto iTunes and redeemed it an the money was credited to my account. then i went to buy something and it says to verify my credit card and type in the security code for my credit card, but i have $100 on my account from the gift card so why cant i just use that?

    The iTunes Store from time to time will as a security precaution ask you to verify your billing details even if you have a credit balance available. If you just do what it asks, the purchase will then most likely go through on your credit from the prepaid card as normal. If your credit card is charged instead, or you don't have a credit card but it keeps insisting on one, go here:

    Each time that you try to add or change your card details on your account a small temporary store holding charge (eg. RS 60 twice) may be applied to check that the card details are correct and valid and that it's registered to exactly the same name and address as on your iTunes account - it should disappear off your account within a few days or so.

    For it being declined, what are you trying to use as your payment method, credit card, debit card ... ? If it's a debit card then they are not still accepted in all countries, and (going on posts on here, including from people in India) where they are still accepted not all cards seem to work. Do you have a different card that you could try ?
    For a card to have a chance of being accepted it needs to be registered to exactly the same name and address (including format and spacing etc) that you have on your iTunes account, and have been issued by a bank in the country where you and your iTunes account are. If it is then you could check with the card issuer to see if it's them that are declining it, and if not then try contacting iTunes Support (these are user-to-user forums) and see if they know why it's being declined (but you might not be able to use the debit card that you are trying) : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Account Management
