REGARDS,

Hi,
Plpease do not write select statements inside the loop.
It will effect your performance.
Use for all entries instaed of writing selects inside the loops.
Then debug you code and look at each internal table filling.. you will understatnd whats the mistake.

nazeer

  • Read statement to read data and display in output table

    hi
    consider a scenerio as below
int table in which data i already tehre gt_sagmeld (here primary key is guid_lclic)
and matching field for next select is guid_mobj
not corpar table is joined to butoo by  parno.
and primary key of corpar is guid_corpar which has no link to gt_sagmeld
and primary key of but00 is partner and it isjoined to corpar by but00-partner = corpar-parno
adn i need to read but00-bpext
pls see the below seelct statment for it
    gt_Saglemd has data...
    data: gt_sagmeld_temp like gt_sagmeld.
    gt_sagmeld_temp[] = gt_sagmeld[].
delete adjacent duplicates from gt_sagmeld_temp[] comparing guid_mobj
    select       corpar~PAFCT
                  corpar~parno
                into table gt_corpar
        from    corpar
        for all entries in gt_sagmeld_temp
        where  /sapsll/corpar~guid_mobj = gt_sagmeld_temp-guid_mobj
        and    /sapsll/corpar~PAFCT = 'SH'.
    sort gt_corpar by parno.
delete adjacent duplicates from gt_corpar comparing parno.
    select but000~partner
           but000~bpext
       from but000 into table gt_but001
    for all entries in gt_corpar
    where  but000~partner = gt_corpar-parno.
now the table gt_but001 contans the required bpext
and i want to read it to outtab
    reading...
    loop at gt_satmeld into wa_gt_sagmeld
    some field selection....
now how to read the bpext in this loop from but001
as there is table corpar also and then but001
    read table gt_but000 into wa_but000
      with key  partner = corpar-parno
...but this will not work as firs i need to read corpar also so how to use the loop or what is procedure to read ...
    pls suggest

    Hi,
    It is very much possible.
    1. You can create a new table in SE11/SE12 and u can create this table as a maintainable table( able to maintain entries). An ABAPer can help you to enable this table as maintainable one.
    2. If you know the name of the maintainable table, you can maintain entries directly in SM30. If you need a tcode for this, you can also do this by creating a tcode in SE91 for the table.
    3. If you know the tcode, you can directly view and download the entries using the tcode itself.

    Hi,

  • Display the output in horizontally insted of vertical as per date

    hi
    experts
display the output in horizontally insted of vertical as per date.
    Date :    From ..........  To  .............
work center         yeild to confrorm                                    date
    W1                         288                                               1.4.2009
                                  256                                                3.4.2009
    Eg
    workcenter    date :   01.04.2009      2.04.2009    3.04.2009    4.04.2009  .......................
      W1                           288                                 256
        w2                           234                345                               345

    Hi,
Incase you have to display this in an ALV; then your internal table will be dynamic.
Your internal table will consists of following fields
    Work Centre
    Date1
    Date2
    DateN
The date columns will not be of type d but rather character as in this columns you have to store the workcentres in them.
Create your dynamic internal table using the class CL_ALV_TABLE_CREATE and method CREATE_DYNAMIC_TABLE.
You will have to create a fieldcatalog table and pass to the method.
Then use the dynamic internal table created to store your data horizintally against each date column.
Display the output in an ALV.
Pass the date values as the description for each date column in the ALV.
I hope you get the concept.

  • No data found in csv output

I have a classic (non-interactive) report that shows some strange behaviour.
It's a simple page with a report region.
On the report attributes page under 'report export' the value for 'Enable CSV output' is set to 'Yes' and 'Link label' has a meaningful discription.
In the development database it works as expected:
When I run the page the data is displayed and when I click the link for csv output I can either save or open the file. In both cases I find the data I expect in the csv file.
In production, however, when I run the page the data is displayed, but when I click the link for csv output the resulting csv file just shows "No Data Found"
I can imagine the report not returning any data, but in that case I shouldn't see any data on screen either.
And it's extra weird that in development it all works fine.
Anybody that can offer any help?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Eric
I would never dream of telling anyone not to argue with me :D I've been wrong before and will be again, no doubt!
For the DIV problem, I was more concerned with < appearing in the output rather than the SQL statement itself - generally problems such as this happen when something on the page is incorrectly formed. When you get a chance, in FireFox, install the Web Developer add-on. When this is installed, on the right-hand end of its toolbar, you will see three buttons - the last two tell you about css and javascript errors. For HTML errors, if you have a text editor that has syntax highlighting, do a View Source on the loaded page, take a copy of the source and paste it in to a new document in the text editor. Save this with an HTML file extension. This should colour-highlight everything. It should become obvious what is wrong as you tend to end up with way too much in the same colour. Finally, on the loaded page, right-click on the DIV text and select Inspect Element - this switches you to a heirarchical view of the HTML on the page in the FireBug pane. Follow the tree up from the DIV and have a look at the structue - at some point, something will look wrong.

  • How to display the output screen when I use bdc.

    hey expert,
I want to display the output screen when i use bdc without using mode 'A'.
    thank you.

    Hi,
You can go for mode 'E'.. it will display the output screen directly and if there is any error in the transaction you would get that particular screen and you can correct and continue after which you will get the final screen if anything goes fine...
    check this sample code....
I had a program if you execute below program it automatically creates a new zprogram.

    Hi Vinod
To get the last 13 months in webi report .follow below approach
Assuming you have calendar Month object in the report.
convert your selected date into M/d/yy format . let's say you selected 12/18/13 , your variable should be 12/1/13
    variable :
    Selected Month =ToDate(FormatDate(useresponse("Date");"Mmm yyyy");"Mmm yyyy")
Flag for month     =ToDate([CalMonth];"Mmm yyyy")<=[Selected Month]
    Report filter          =[Flag for month]+Previous(Self)
select the table you want to filter
add filter -> Report filter between 1 to 13.
    Hope this will help.

  • Display counter output on graph

I have two counters generating continuous digial pulse trains from my PCI 6010, and I'm trying to display the output on a graph.  I've got the output of one counter connected to an AI line that leads to a waveform graph, but I can't get anything on the graph.  I've measured the output via external means, so I know the counters are generating the appropriate pulses.
Eventually I'd like to have some sort of indicator for each counter that indicates whether the counter is in the 'on' or 'off' state, but I figured getting the counter outputs to diplay on a graph would be a good first step.
My VI is below; the display part that isn't working is at the bottom of the case structure.
    Thanks.

Once your code goes into the inner while loop your graph will never be updated since it will only execute one time. In order to update the graph continually you will need a parallel which handles the graph updates. A good way to pass data between the parallel tasks is a queue.

  • Display an output

    Hi guys
Please help me in displaying the output
i had all my data in ITABS,i need them to display in the report
    1) which must fit in the A4 page to print
2)on start of  each page i need the heading of the       report and fields
3)at the end of the report i want to specify the totals which are in my Itabs.
(how to recognize end of page ,end of data ......please give the code ....)
    Thanks
    BABU

    Hi Sai
This is a kind of weired applicaiton. But in logic, declare header, loop through your internal table and put a counter.  Just check, how many records can fit in your a4 page and then you exit the loop and footer.  Again you fill your report with header, records and footer.  You have to repeat this process till you process last record of your internal table.

  • Display Report output in Matrix format

    Hi
I want to display normal report output in somewhat this manner.
I will have one change requrest number and many transport requests will be assigned to that change request number, and to the transport requests many objects will be assigned.
I have to display the output in this format:
    Change Request 1  |   Tr No.1 |  Tr No.2 |  Tr No.1 | and so on....
    Obj1
    Obj2
    Obj3
    Change Request 1  |   Tr No.1 |  Tr No.2 |  Tr No.1 | and so on....
    Obj1
    Obj2
    Obj3
Like this it should go on.
I have done the coding part, how to display the data in the above format i am not getting any idea, please help me out if you have any ideas.
    Thanks & Regards
    Haritha.

    Hi Vijay,
First of all thank you for the response.
I am retrieving the data from different tables and putting all the data in one internal table called i_final. Below is the declaration of that internal table and how i have populated the data to that. I am using control break statements to display the data but the data is coming in the next line.
Please see the final internal table:
    1. Declaration:
    Data:Begin of i_final occurs 0,
           ccsnr like ysts-ccsnr,
           trkorr like ysts-trkorr,
           obj_name like e071-obj_name,
           check_box(1),
           status LIKE YSCS-STATUS,
          End of i_final.
    2. Populating different internal tables data to this table:
      loop at i_ccno.
        i_final-ccsnr = i_ccno-ccsnr.
        i_final-trkorr = i_ccno-trkorr.
read table i_status with key trkorr = i_ccno-trkorr.
        if sy-subrc = 0.
          i_final-status = i_status-status.
        endif.
read table i_obj_name with key trkorr = i_ccno-trkorr.
        if sy-subrc = 0.
          i_final-obj_name = i_obj_name-obj_name.
        endif.
        append i_final.
        clear i_final.
      endloop.
    3. Using Control break statements to display the data.
      sort i_final by ccsnr.
      loop at i_final.
         at new ccsnr.
           write:/2 i_final-ccsnr.
         endat.
           write:20 i_final-trkorr.
           uline.
      endloop.
But the output is coming like this:
    CHG0003785  HSDK933109
                          HSDK933111
                          HSDK933113
                          HSDK933143
                          HSDK933268
But i want the output like this:
    CHG0003785 | HSDK933109  |  HSDK933111  |   HSDK933113
    Thanks & Regards

Alternatively, you can use the FormatString property node, and use %08b as format string : 08 means : pad the output with 0 to get a 8 digits wide result.
