Increase ALV Printout Font and Font Size

Hi Experts,
Is there a way of increasing the font size on the ALV Grid printout the comes from a printer? Also, how can I print the Logo at the top of the page of the ALV List? It only appears on the ALV List screen, but not on the printed copy. I am using the method set_table_for_first_display and the class cl_gui_alv_grid to display the output in the ALV.

I tried your suggestion along with I039643's suggested SET_PRINT_PARAMETERS FM in INITIALIZATION event. But I still do not see the format I specified in my report when I go to Report execute -> List -> Print -> Properties.
I am not sure what I am missing here. Please let me know. Thanks.

Is there a real way to increase the system font size yet?

I got a new Mac Pro (2013 model) to use with my Dell U2711 monitor which has a native screen resolution of 2560x1440. After spending some significant time fighting with cables (HDMI and DVI will not allow for full native resolution due to a Dell issue, only Display Port works), I finally got my screen working at the full native resolution. Since I am going from a previous resolution of 1920x1080, as you can imagine, the text is pretty small.
I am running OS X Mavericks 10.9.1.
I searched the forums for a way to increase the default font size and found a ton of posts, but most posts were older or got the response "Change your screen resolution" which translates to "Drop your resolution to a non-native and clearly inferior mode" or buy some special computer reading glasses. These are not real solutions for me. I do professional photo editing so being able to have a high screen resolution is important. With a great OS I would think there would have to be a way to increase the font size. (Surely if Windows can do it, so can Mac OS). I know I can do it for some individual applications like iTunes, Safari, Chrome, etc. But I can't find a way to increase it for apps that don't have a font size option or for default mac applications like the action bar. Is this an issue that just keeps being ignored or is there a solution yet?
With 4K displays already on the market and 8K ones being shown off at CES, if we can't control the default font size, are the next set of solutions going to be "Go buy a really big magnifying glass"? If the current answer is still that I'm SOL, could we please get some feedback to the product group that this is a real issue and it's only going to get worse with higher res monitors coming. I don't think many people will be happy dropping their 4K displays to 1080 resolution or lower just so they can read the text.

Download and run the free application TinkerTool (not "TinkerTool System"), select the Fonts tab, and change the font sizes.

How do I increase the menu font size for Bible Fox?

I know how to increase page text size etc, but using (brown) Bible Fox theme, I can't increase the menu font size. Is there a way to do this?

You can try to increase the String pref layout.css.devPixelsPerPx from 1.0 to 2.0 in 0.1 steps to see what works best. 
In Firefox 3.6 and later this pref is a String value parsed to a float and allows to fine tune the dimensions of all elements more precisely.
To open the about:config page, type about:config in the location (address) bar and press the "Enter" key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website. 
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page.

I have an imac and want to increase the display font size.

I am able to increase the font size of e.g. webpages and outlook messages, but it is the font size of menus and headings for all programmes that are far too small for a much bigger screen than the PC I have just been using - i can't see a way of changing these. Zooming in does not help increasing the size of these menus.

Sometimes this can be altered by going inside the "plist" for the project and making specific changes. It is beyond my scope, but someone on these forums should be talented enough to suss it out.

if it is scripts u will have a tab called paragraph format and character format.by using them u can change the font size of a paragraph or charter format.
if it is smartform u can apply the smart styles for a particular form.in smart styles u will have pargraph style and character style u can use them to change the font styles...

Is there a way to increase the default font size on the iPhone 4s?

I've had my iphone 4s for a few weeks now, graduating up from the Bberry world.
I've been searching the phone settings and the web for instructions on how to increase the default font.
This would be most helpful for us 50+ people who use reading glasses and have trouble seeing things these days in low light or when you can't expand the text like in an email or web page.
The affects the features like: Messaging, Notes, Reminders, Calendar, etc.....
Seems like this device should have this ability somewhere.
Even my lo tech Bberry had this option.....don't make me go back....

How can I increase the event font size when printing a weekly listing from Lightning?

I find a printed weekly calendar very useful in my life. I used to use the Sunbird calendar program with the FG Print extension to increase the font size to something more appropriate for my aged eyes. Is there a way to do this with Lightning? I'm running Thunderbird 24.2.0 on Linux Mint 13, if that matters.

Are you using the print formatted page for printing? You can pop that up from the '''...''' menu that appears above the item. (Screen shot example attached.)
If that page still is too small:
* Is Firefox using the full area of the page? If Firefox is only using part of it, this could be related to a problem reading the correct "paper size" from your printer driver. More tips on that if needed.
* If Firefox is using the full page it might be shrinking the content to make space horizontally. In a window where you can access the menu bar, check File>Page Setup or orange Firefox button>Print>Page Setup to make sure the scaling is not set too small or, if necessary, turn off Shrink to Fit.

How do I increase the menu font size/screen display?

My husband is having issues reading the small fonts in all of the menus. Pages, Numbers, Safari and Mail.

The only way to get a system wide enlargement of fonts would be to take down the resolution a notch. You can go to system preferences and then displays and take down your resolution. It will adjust the pixels to a larger size so everything will appear slightly larger. If you don't like the result simply switch it back.

Hi,
I would think that, generally speaking, users would print from a Printer Friendly page. This is a page template that has most of the top and bottom (that is, the tabs and footers) of a normal page removed. You can switch a page to a Printer Friendly one fairly easily - see: Re: Print Report without Template for an example. As this is a separate page template, you can use printer-only styling. The downside is that you can only have one Printer Friendly page in your application, so you have to be careful to make any styling generic.

Mail.app crashes when I try to increase font size

Has anyone had a problem with mail.app crashing?
It only happens when I try to increase the message font size or change the style of font within mail preferences.
It will also crash if I select "use fixed-width font for plain text messages".
Mailbox font and message list font work ok.
I tried to dump the mail preferences but that did not help.

Increasing font size

Hi All,
Is there a way to increase/change the font size of letters on SAP screens. Is there a parameter/parameters through which thsi can be done?

Dear Cyrus,
not sure if you are referring to the GUI or to something displayed in the browser. For the GUI, you can check the little icon that looks like a tv set. In there you will find options to change the font and size.

I'm having some problems getting Urxvt to increase my terminus font size.
I have installed aur/urxvt-font-size-git and have the following in my .Xdefaults:

returns no errors, however Control-Minus/Equal do not increase my font size. I have tried swapping the URxvt.font values between the commented/uncommented lines but it still doesn't work.
Am I missing something?

Edit: I am using I3 as my WM and I don't have any mappings that would conflict.

Looking at the wiki entry for this extension, it appears that you're missing font-size in this line. Try adding it and seeing if it helps.
