Increase from Student Discount to Full Price

Up until March 3rd, 2015, I was paying the student discount rate of 4.99/month. However, in April I started receiving charges of the full price. I am still a student and have been since I opened the account. I just realized the charges today and would like a refund and preferably not a subscription extension as I've seen in other posts.

Hey unfortunately, no. But, if you register again, the discount will be applied on the next renewal date, which is in your subscription status. You'll then get that discount for the full 12 months again.

Student account charged full price suddenly?

Before I'm told, YES I made sure that I signed up under the United States student discount. I have been for a while. It is only just this month that I have been charged the full amount. I am still a student and have physical proof of my attendance at CSU Sacramento. I want to know specifically why I'm being charged the full price now. I received no notification from Spotify that mentioned they were changing my terms of agreement or that my account would be charged full price the following month. Please assist. Thank youDJ

There is no upgrade pricing for FCP X. Everyone pays the same price.

I am currently running CS3 Design Premium student edition, but need to upgrade because I'm starting a business. Am I eligible to get the upgrade edition of CS4 or do I have to buy the full version?

To clarify: Your education edition is indeed eligible for an upgrade to CS4 just as if it were a normal version of Creative Suite 3 Design Premium.

Spotify Charing me Full Price - Where did my student discount go?

I'd been having the student discount price since last year and suddenly, with no warning (which I think is poor business practice but whatever) it's reverted to full price. I went to the student discount page to see if I need to sign up for it again but it says I am not eligible for the student rate, despite still being an enrolled, full-time university. I'm seeing in the T&C that the student discount does only go for 12 months. This seems silly, since most people are students for 4+ years, but whatever. The bottom line is that I wasn't warned of this account switch beforehand. How do I go about either being put back on the discounted price and having the difference refunded to me for this month's charge, or cancelling premium altogether and having all of this month cancelled instead?

I apologize for the billing change to your account. The student discount can be a little tricky at times. As you saw in the terms and conditions, the student discount needs to be re-verified every 12 months. The problem is that the account cannot have an active subscription while applying the discount. Since you currently have Spotify Premium, you need to cancel it here and wait for your account to revert back to 'Spotify Free' before re-applying the discount.

I believe there are NO upgrades for Student and Teacher editions but you can see here: Products
If the price is the same as an ordinary upgrade you are probably better off buying that because it can be upgraded in the future.

Student Spotfy renew automaticaly to Premium full price

When I got the Student account the past May, I think remember that stated the account asked what year you will graduated, I think this is for keep the student rate. My account anniversary was on May 14th and automaticaly renewed to $9.99 rate, so Sportifty did not send any message or method to keep the student discount, Spotify realizes that I am not more student after one year? I need cancel my suscription and renewal every year meanwhile be a student? How I can get a refund or extension of my account with the student rate $4.99, I have 2 months paying the full price. Mine also auto renewed at 9.99 without any warning. Spotify should have to notify you when your subscription is up. I will be contacting to get my $5 back.

Problem - Student Billing *Getting charged the full price.

I have had no notice of a new payment plan or any alterations and when I signed up for the student price of 4.99 there was no fine print of it only being offered for awhile, and It did work for awhile. Now I'm being charged the full price and I need this understood that I am a Student that can only pay the Student Price. I seriously need my money, and I need my music so this is a huge problem. How long have you been subscribed for? After 12 months, you need to resubcribe using the student discount, and you can do this by going to the website linked in the Student discount section of your region's FAQ. Once you have done this, you can check how much you will be charged on your Subscriptions page.

Anyone know if Creative gives a student discount like Apple does? Id rather get a Zen Vision then an Ipod 60gb but students get 5% off at apple.com so I can get the Ipod for $365 rather then spending $399 on the 30gb Zen Vision... :/ Twice the storage but does less since I am on a PC.

The 30Gb Vision is $449 from Dell and there is only a $20 off coupon that you can use for it. :/ Its cheaper going through creative. I did find one at Zipzoomfly for $384 but the 60Gb Ipod is still cheaper.

Maybe I will just wait a month or two more to see if anything new gets released. Would be nice to see more storage in the creative ones, like I said Id rather have one of theirs then an apple but the price is a big factor.

Is it at all possible to still get the physical cd's for the CS6 from the adobe website with my college student discount?

I am currently a college student studying photography and my college gives us a free download of Adobe Creative Cloud Master Collection, but once we graduate it will be deleted from our computers. I graduate in May. I am trying to use my student discount to get the the CS6 Master Collection while I still can, but I would like to get the physical CD's to download the programs, and not the Creative Cloud apps simply downloaded over the internet. Is this still possible at all?

Meagancon it is likely you will be entitled to receive a download. You are welcome to download and burn the installation files to a DVD.
