Increase photo size limit

I have an 8100 and would like to be able to receive photos. I was told be T-Mobile the current file size limit for photos is 300 kb; is there a way to increase that? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Increase Brush size limit.

Camera sensor sizes are growing and now we have to deal with 7000+ pixel images, but the brush size doesn't go over 2500pix which makes it hard to produce smooth results when dealing with large areas. Easy to implement I guess.

i was just looking for the solution to this issue.... and came to this thread, i think there isnt any solution to it yet.
i hope Adobe will increase the brush size limit to like ..... 5000px? or 10k px would be great for working on large banners or posters.

IPhoto photo size limit

I heard the presenter in today's keynote mention "up to 19Mb" limit for new iPhoto. What does this realistically mean? What if I have 21 Mb photos?

Sorry to have been unclear. The NYT article was just mentioning the availability of iPhoto for iPad. if you read the last two paragraphs of the article on page 2, it is mentioned there.
I also saw mention of it on DP Review in the Mac forum. (I had a lot of time on my hands today while backing up and downloading things related to my iPhoto crisis. Way too much time to kill where I couldn't leave the computer.)

How to increase photo size whilst viewing on HDTV using Airplay?

I am using a new Apple iphone 4s with IOS 5.1 etc and I am trying to view photos on my HDTV in widescreen format via Apple TV (3rdGen) ... The video playback mirrored from the iphone in 1080P automatically appears in widesreen using the full screen real estate and is awesome!!.... but the photos only 'mirror' using half the screen? Is this the best I can hope for? The same problem is evident trying to view pics from my ipad 2 .... I did notice on an Apple promotional video that a bunch of guys were sat around scrolling through pics on an iphone .... on their HDTV the pics they were viewing from an iphone were displayed in widescreen format just as the video .... any ideas?

Are the pictures taken with the iPhone in portrait (home button on bottom) or landscape (home button on right or left)? If the latter the picture should take the full screen, if the prior it will appear in approximately half the screen to maintain image proportions.

Configuration IIS to increase upload size limit

When I am upload larger than 30mb file to Vibe, it show HTTP 404 and the page cannot be displayed.
I am check the vibe documents know that that need configuring IIS to allow uploading of large files to the vibe site
However, I don't understand the instruction on this article

Firstly I can't locate the Web.config file. By default folder is Inetpub\wwwroot\wss\VirtualDirectories\VirtualDire ctoryFolder
If I follow vibe installation guide to setup, virutalDirectoryFolder should be under C:\Program Files\Novell\Vibe IIS Plugin. But I can't find any Web.config file. Cloud you help.

WCI 10.3 migration package size limit

Hi,
I'm trying to migrate content from old wci-server to new server (win2003 -->win2008) and some packages cannot be imported with portal interface.
Is there a way to increase the size limit to allow bigger pte files than 20 MB?
I'm aware of the command line tool, but there seems to be no way to exclude unwanted content.

I'm trying to import certain user group with dependencies and the package is about 30 MB.
This is One group containing about 4 other groups and dynamic members.
When trying to import to a new environment nothing happens and after a while the error page is displayed.
Logging spy gives 2 errors:

Is there a way to put more apps (increase the folder size limit) in iOS 5.0.1 on iPad2

I read on some site that there is an app that allows one to increase the desktop folder size limit in iOS 5.0.1 on an iPad2 does anyone have any info please?

It's not that I want gazillions of apps, I just wanted to put more in each folder so I don't have to have multiple folders with similar names....Weather1, 2, 3,etc.... but I see your point and appreciate the thoughts.

You can't change it, and I suspect few email providers would allow a file that big. Consider uploading it to a service like Dropbox, then email the link allowing the recipient to download it.

When last I checked, the kernel had a fixed stack size limit.
Do you have the source code to this application? If so, [see this Tiger stack size article|http://homepage.mac.com/eric.c/hpc/contents/documentation/How%20to%20in crease%20the%20stack%20size%20on%20Mac%20OS%20X.pdf], and specifically have a look at the +ld -stack_size+ mechanism; rebuild the code with a bigger limit.
Entirely FWIW, this question would be more typical over in the developer forums or maybe in the Unix forum if you don't have Apple developer access. Better audience for application development and for software-related questions over there.

Is there a size limit on photo attachments that can be opened

whenever i try to open a large photo attachment (most recently, i tried a 3.5mb jpeg i sent myself from one email account to another), the iphone will download the entire file, but instead of opening the file i am given the boxed ? (question mark) with the blue background as if the iphone does not recognize the file format. however it is definitely a jpeg file. this only happens when i try to open files of larger size (maybe 2.5 mbs and up..)
is there a size limit that the iphone will recognize photos?

There is no file size limit that I'm aware of.
When I receive an email with a large photo attachment or with a number of photo attachments, the photo or photos may not appear automatically opened as inline or viewed in place depending on my internet connection at the time - wi-fi or the cellular network, which requires selecting the attachment to download and open the attachment. I haven't received a boxed ? mark on a blue background - not yet anyway.

I am running the latest version of HDR Soft Photomatix Tone Mapping Plug-In - Version 2.2 in Photoshop CS6 on a fully loaded solid state MacBook Air. When I attempt to process files exceeding 250 mb with the plugin I get an error message and the plugin will not work. The plugin works fine with anything south of 250 mb. I have also optimized the performance settings in CS6 for large file sizes.
The standalone version of HRD Soft’s Photomatix Pro easily processes files well in excess of 300 mb.
I have contacted Photomatix support and they say that 250megs is simply the max file size that Photoshop will allow to run a plugin with.
So is there any setting that I’m overlooking in Photoshop CS6 that will allow me to process these large files with the plugin? Or if there is indeed a file size limit for plugin processing in CS6 is the limit higher in CC?

It used to be if you added the contacts photo on the iOS device they would have a large picture and if you added it from Address Book on OS X they would have a smaller thumbnail. However, since iOS5, all I've been able to get is the larger photo. Try adding the picture directly in the contacts app on your device. That should make it larger.

When a call comes in, is there a way to increase the size of the photo to actually be able see who it is whose calling? I mean when they say "thumbnail" photo, they aren't kidding!

From within the phone, no you can't increase the size of the display photo.
There are apps available in AppWorld which may be able to accomplish this but that's the only way you'll be able to adjust the size.
