Increase the showing time of tool tip

Hi Experts,
We have a requirement in OAF. We want to increase the time of tool tip which is showing on the field. Right now whenever we move to the field, its showing after some time its disappering. We know that is the functionality of tool tip. but user want to see that until he move from that field.
where we can set the timings? or any other way to achieve the requirement.

It did not help in increasing the Idle time, I was going through google and other blogs they was mentioning tcode RZ11
I looked into the above tcode but was not sure where the increase the idle time, but anyway thank you

Thanks Nancy. Unfortunately that doesn't do it. I turned those off awhile back. Nor can I find anything under VIEW that seems to make a difference. Just FYI: I'm on a Mac OS w/Dreamweaver CS6 - but this has happened on previous versions of DW. Thanks again.

How to increase the waiting time for response in Adapter Engine not in IE

It is a SOAP to Proxy Synchronous interface. SOAP system is sending the request to PI, PI sending the same request to ECC system, After execution of some logic response back to PI in 7 minutes. In ABAP Stack(sxmb_moni) processing the response message also successfully with success flag after completion of these 7 minutes. But exactly 5 minutes later getting the error at Java Stack RWB- in communication channel monitoring i.e
com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessageExpiredException: Message bd2bf8d0-b2c2-11e0-c383-001cc4fb5cb7(OUTBOUND) expired. We have set the "runtime-HTTP_TIMEOUT" parameter as 3600. thats why in Integration engine it is processing successfully.
kindly suggest me how to increase the waiting time for response in Adapter Engine. Exactly after 5 mins getting the above error in rwb, but in Integration Engine getting successful flag after 7 mins until then it is waiting for response with status flag Log version.

Increasing the decay time of the exs24

is there a way i can increase the decay time past 10000 ms so that I can hold my notes longer, this is really frustrating, i know there must be a simple workaround. theres no way they would make a sample with such a short max decay(i hope).

I just realized you're talking about decay, not release times. If you simply want the sound to continue while you hold the key down make sure the sustain on the envelope is set all the way up. With this envelope setting, decay does not matter, release can do what you want it to do, and your samples will play at full volume for their entire duration or until you release the key. Looped or not.
Don't know about your harp samples; if they're the Apple ones they shouldn't do that, but if they're third party the EXS might be playing samples unlooped that were meant to be looped. With converted samples you often have to tweak the programming which typically includes filters, envelopes, and loops.
Garage band sounds have envelopes preset to the way they assume users will want to hear them. EXS gives you options, including the choice to do stuff you don't like.
ADSR envelope generator is common to all kinds of synths and samplers made by everybody today and since the seventies, and is well worth learning if you haven't already.

Comments increase the Refresh-time by Factor 25+

Hi,
I have a very simple BPC 10 MS Model with roughly 7000 Facts, 5 Dimensions, and 3 Comments. We are using Excel 2003.
Saving and refreshing data and comments works fine and takes about a second.
Once I activate EPM --> Extra --> Options --> Sheet options --> Show comments as Excel-Comments, the refresh of the sheet takes about 30 Seconds.
I tried this with the latest Excel AddIn SP17 as well as with SP 13. However both shows the same behaviour.
Can anyone tell me how to speed theses things up? I realized that neither the application server nor the database does a lot of work during this slow refresh. Therefore I expect this not to be an hardware issue.
Thank you very much for any ideas or hints on how to use Excel Comments with BPC.

Time scale tool tip

Hello there!
How can I create a function to write a tool tip that gives details of the date that the mouse is pointing in the time scale bars??
All and any help would be appreciated.

I'm using a ilog elixir gantt chart component and I would like to create a tool tip that would indicate what time is the mouse pointing to.
This component has two bars the one in the upper side is more generic. Both of the bars in this component indicate time but the one that is on top is more aggregated.
The mx: tags that I'm using are the flex and the ilog ones:

Then you should be able to find under Peopletools menu, the webprofile configuration, choose the one you are using to start the webserver (if you don't know which one is using, check the configuration.properties file, it should be somewhere in that file), and modify the timeout on the next page.

Will encode in bundle increase the encoding time ?

I have this project which is 18 minutes long and encode in Apple 1080p 1920 x 1080 25fps, computer mp4 file.
Since I have this phobia of having Error -50 pops up at me, I decided to encode them in 8 parts and re-essemble the 8 parts and encode the 8 parts into 1 file.
QUESTION 1:
Why does 10.0.6 took so long to encode ? about 2.5 hours.
A similar 18 minutes file only took me under an hour to encode (ie encode at firts go without encoding in parts) to encode in 10.0.4.
But, in 10.0.6, even with already one round of encoding into 8 parts, why is it taking such a long time ?
QUESTION 2:
Another question is if I do a bundle encode to include the same Apple 1080p plus vimeo plus facebook, will the encoding time remains at 2.5 hours or will it increase due to more destinations ?

I don't understand this – splitting it into 8 parts, etc. If you're getting an Error-50, you may have problematic media. What are your original clips?
Q1) Unless you have an extremely complex project with loads of composited clips, effects and graphics, it's a pretty long export time. Maybe it has something to do with the eight parts?
Q2) To make different versions requires more time.

Increasing the hight time of a single pulse

I am quite new in using Labview, and have bumped in to this annoying problem:
Basically I would like to create single ttl pulses with a user
specified high time of anything from 0.5 ms to 100 ms, and repeat this
procedure every (1 s -10 s) a certain amount of times.
For some reason I cannot change the high time to anything higher than
15 ms, even though it gets an input higher that 15 ms. Anything below
15 ms the whole program works just fine.
Does anyone know what could be the problem?
I am using the pci-6024E card.

The reason that it seems you only are able to set a high time of about 15 mS is that you are terminating your task before its completed. You should use the "DAQmx wait until done.vi" as shown in the "Gen Dig Pulse.vi" example which is included in the Example finder of LabVIEW. I have attached an example of how to do this...
You should be able to generate a pulse that is at least about 167 seconds.. see the following link.

Starting a documentary, using PPro for the 1st time, any pro tips for workflow?

I'm a documentary director and editor that is making the big switch for my next project. For some background, I'm coming from the world of FCP 7 working with p2 DVCpro footage off a Panasonic HPX camera, multiple editors who each have separate systems with duplicates of media to work from, and usually finish using Color, outputting to HDCAM (SR if necessary).
For the new project the two editors will be working on Mac Pro Towers, OS 10.6.8, Dual Core 3Ghz Intel, 9GB RAM, ATI Radeon HD 5770. The towers were bought in late 2007, so we can't upgrade to Mountain Lion because our chipset is barely outdated.
We will be shooting the entirety of the doc on c300s, and eventually c100s.
One of the main attractions for our switch is that the c300 footage drops in Premiere natively, and we will not need to duplicate our storage space to create 422 Pro Res clips.
Is this a mistake? Does the long GOP format of the canon's mpeg format prove too incompatible for multiclipping, logging, cutting, and then color correct?
What do I need to do to ensure that each editor can open each other's project files as seamlessly as possible? How do we avoid waiting for the audio to load in each time we pass project files back and forth?
Because logging and organization are so important to us with the amount of footage we use, are there any bugs I should know of that delete markers or screw up the sync of multiclips?

Try doing a hard reset on the phone;
1. Hold Home and Sleep/Wake buttons at the same time;
2. Wait for the Apple logo to appear (ignore the slide to Power Off option)
3. Let go of the buttons when you see Apple on the screen
4. Allow iPhone to reboot; and try to open the apps again.
If that doesn't work; you will have to try a restore in iTunes; and then sync the apps back the phone after the restore.

I am using the Adobe Tutorial Player and have a connection estiblished between my iPad and Photoshop CC. The connect drops frequently. Is there a way to incerase the connection time lenght. It would be helpful in working through the tutorial to not loose the connection. I am using Photoshop CC, Windows 8.1 and iOS 7.0.4

If Crossfade is OFF, the fadeout is actually part of the recording, so you won't be able to change how it fades.
If you want to make the silence (gap) between songs longer, there is only one setting I know of that relates to the gap between songs, and it is in iTunes.
Do a Get Info on a song in iTunes (File -> Get Info OR Cmd-I from keyboard) and go to the Options tab in the Info window. There is a setting called Part of gapless album. If that checkbox is checked, the songs are played with no gap.
I don't know of any other setting in iTunes or the iPod that makes the gap between songs longer.
