Increasing the hight time of a single pulse

I am quite new in using Labview, and have bumped in to this annoying problem:
Basically I would like to create single ttl pulses with a user
specified high time of anything from 0.5 ms to 100 ms, and repeat this
procedure every (1 s -10 s) a certain amount of times.
For some reason I cannot change the high time to anything higher than
15 ms, even though it gets an input higher that 15 ms. Anything below
15 ms the whole program works just fine.
Does anyone know what could be the problem?
I am using the pci-6024E card.

The reason that it seems you only are able to set a high time of about 15 mS is that you are terminating your task before its completed. You should use the "DAQmx wait until done.vi" as shown in the "Gen Dig Pulse.vi" example which is included in the Example finder of LabVIEW. I have attached an example of how to do this...
You should be able to generate a pulse that is at least about 167 seconds.. see the following link.

How to increase the waiting time for response in Adapter Engine not in IE

It is a SOAP to Proxy Synchronous interface. SOAP system is sending the request to PI, PI sending the same request to ECC system, After execution of some logic response back to PI in 7 minutes. In ABAP Stack(sxmb_moni) processing the response message also successfully with success flag after completion of these 7 minutes. But exactly 5 minutes later getting the error at Java Stack RWB- in communication channel monitoring i.e
com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessageExpiredException: Message bd2bf8d0-b2c2-11e0-c383-001cc4fb5cb7(OUTBOUND) expired. We have set the "runtime-HTTP_TIMEOUT" parameter as 3600. thats why in Integration engine it is processing successfully.
kindly suggest me how to increase the waiting time for response in Adapter Engine. Exactly after 5 mins getting the above error in rwb, but in Integration Engine getting successful flag after 7 mins until then it is waiting for response with status flag Log version.

Increasing the decay time of the exs24

is there a way i can increase the decay time past 10000 ms so that I can hold my notes longer, this is really frustrating, i know there must be a simple workaround. theres no way they would make a sample with such a short max decay(i hope).

I just realized you're talking about decay, not release times. If you simply want the sound to continue while you hold the key down make sure the sustain on the envelope is set all the way up. With this envelope setting, decay does not matter, release can do what you want it to do, and your samples will play at full volume for their entire duration or until you release the key. Looped or not.
Don't know about your harp samples; if they're the Apple ones they shouldn't do that, but if they're third party the EXS might be playing samples unlooped that were meant to be looped. With converted samples you often have to tweak the programming which typically includes filters, envelopes, and loops.
Garage band sounds have envelopes preset to the way they assume users will want to hear them. EXS gives you options, including the choice to do stuff you don't like.
ADSR envelope generator is common to all kinds of synths and samplers made by everybody today and since the seventies, and is well worth learning if you haven't already.

Then you should be able to find under Peopletools menu, the webprofile configuration, choose the one you are using to start the webserver (if you don't know which one is using, check the configuration.properties file, it should be somewhere in that file), and modify the timeout on the next page.

Comments increase the Refresh-time by Factor 25+

Hi,
I have a very simple BPC 10 MS Model with roughly 7000 Facts, 5 Dimensions, and 3 Comments. We are using Excel 2003.
Saving and refreshing data and comments works fine and takes about a second.
Once I activate EPM --> Extra --> Options --> Sheet options --> Show comments as Excel-Comments, the refresh of the sheet takes about 30 Seconds.
I tried this with the latest Excel AddIn SP17 as well as with SP 13. However both shows the same behaviour.
Can anyone tell me how to speed theses things up? I realized that neither the application server nor the database does a lot of work during this slow refresh. Therefore I expect this not to be an hardware issue.
Thank you very much for any ideas or hints on how to use Excel Comments with BPC.

Will encode in bundle increase the encoding time ?

I have this project which is 18 minutes long and encode in Apple 1080p 1920 x 1080 25fps, computer mp4 file.
Since I have this phobia of having Error -50 pops up at me, I decided to encode them in 8 parts and re-essemble the 8 parts and encode the 8 parts into 1 file.
QUESTION 1:
Why does 10.0.6 took so long to encode ? about 2.5 hours.
A similar 18 minutes file only took me under an hour to encode (ie encode at firts go without encoding in parts) to encode in 10.0.4.
But, in 10.0.6, even with already one round of encoding into 8 parts, why is it taking such a long time ?
QUESTION 2:
Another question is if I do a bundle encode to include the same Apple 1080p plus vimeo plus facebook, will the encoding time remains at 2.5 hours or will it increase due to more destinations ?

I don't understand this – splitting it into 8 parts, etc. If you're getting an Error-50, you may have problematic media. What are your original clips?
Q1) Unless you have an extremely complex project with loads of composited clips, effects and graphics, it's a pretty long export time. Maybe it has something to do with the eight parts?
Q2) To make different versions requires more time.

Time analysis of single pulse

Hello all !
I am quite confused ... I have acquired a waveform signal from a NI scope and the result is presented in the graph above, everything seems perfect.
Using the "Transition Measurement.vi", I would like to extract the following information out of the waveform signal : start time and end time of an edge ... And here come troubles !
The start time and the end time of an edge are the same ! (difference = 0) and the start time is even smaller than the very first element of the time array I extracted from the waveform ! (Gloups !).
However, the transition duration, which is supposed to be calculated as I did with the start and end time, is different and seems relevant ! How is this possible ? Has anyone an idea of where I did a huge mistake ?

For something as simple as the waveform you showed, I would just write some LabVIEW code that "does what I ask it to do", meaning it carries out an algorithm that I determine, can test, and can understand. I have no idea what NI's "Transition Measurements VI" does, even after reading the Help, but it certainly is doing something complex and mysterious.
I do know, however, why your transition time appears to be zero -- it is an artifact of the way it is being reported. Your sampling rate seems to be 250MHz (wow!), or a point every 0.000000004 seconds. Suppose the transition was really fast, say 2 points wide = 0.000000008 seconds. That is less than the number of digits of precision in Start Time and End Time, so their difference could well be (rounded to) 0.
If you did this yourself, you would presumably compute the transition in terms of array indices (i.e. "starts at point 7, finishes at point 9"), would subtract (9-7 = 2) and multiply by the sampling period (4E-9) and would get the "correct answer" (8E-9) displayed correctly.

I am using the Adobe Tutorial Player and have a connection estiblished between my iPad and Photoshop CC. The connect drops frequently. Is there a way to incerase the connection time lenght. If Crossfade is OFF, the fadeout is actually part of the recording, so you won't be able to change how it fades.
If you want to make the silence (gap) between songs longer, there is only one setting I know of that relates to the gap between songs, and it is in iTunes.
Do a Get Info on a song in iTunes (File -> Get Info OR Cmd-I from keyboard) and go to the Options tab in the Info window. There is a setting called Part of gapless album. If that checkbox is checked, the songs are played with no gap.
I don't know of any other setting in iTunes or the iPod that makes the gap between songs longer.

My phone only rings 3 times before going to voicemail.
Other mobile phones I've used had an option to set the time the phone should ring for in seconds (usually up to a maximum of 30 seconds).
Does anyone know if this option exists on the 8110 Pearl smartphone?
