Increasing the row height in crm 2011

Hi,
I am using crm 2011, I want increase the row height in a view, so that it can display the description in multiple rows.
any information will be helpful.

In views you can only specify column width and not row height.
For columns that have large data, taking the mouse over the column will display the text in the tooltip.

In Smartforms , Select the Table and you can adjust the cell hieghts in OUTPUT OPTIONs TAB.

All of a sudden the row height of my yahoo mail page is smaller than the font I've always used. I've tried changing the font size to see if the row height would increase, but this doesn't solve the problem. I tried switching over to Internet Explorer, but the problem persists.

If you get the same result in both Firefox and IE, then it might be a change by Yahoo in their style sheet.
In the Inbox, the row height is fixed, so if you use Firefox's zoom feature to increase the text size, you need to disable Text Zoom Only to have the rows grow along with the text.
Alt+v (opens the classic View menu) > Zoom > ''uncheck'' Zoom Text Only
Does that make any difference?

Hi Kumar,
Row height it predefined and you won't change it, but you can adjust column width.
For that use field COL_OPT of layout structure ( type LVC_SLAYO ) to optimize all columns width, or set explicit width using field catalog, setting field OUTPUTLEN for certain column.

How to increase the rows of a Table control on ITS

Hi,
I'm trying to increase the number of rows to 20 on ITS but it always shows 2 rows per navigation. Although in the backend module pool there are 8 rows and the GV_SOS_LIST_CONTROL-LINES contains the total no of rows of the internal table. yet there are always 2 rows getting printed. This screen is in different function group and being called from some other function group i.e BBP_SC_UI_ITS. Are there any parameters that we have missed out to pass from BBP_SC_UI_ITS to our function group. Reply needed urgently!!!!!!!!!!!

i tried increasing the rows on the browser by hard coding the counter and then the rows do increase but the records that are shown are still 2 per navigation. i doubt if it is a screen size constraint. the transaction in which i'm trying all this is bbpsc01.

Fixing the row height in table

Hi All,
In my table column i am displaying address. Address field is of type STRING_TABLE. (This is needed to display address in the format shown in the example below) As a result of this the row height changes depending on the length of the address.
Hence all the rows in the table are of different heights.
For Example i am displaying the output as shown below.
39 Car Street,
abcdefg,
pincode
india,
ph no.
Now is it possible set the height of the row so that all the rows in the table are of fixed height?

I have a List in my Adobe Flash Builder 4.5 and flex 4.5 mobile application. I show the image and the label in my list. The list item height gets adjusted based on the image height. I don't want this auto row adjustment. Instead I would like to set the row height manually.
Is there any property to set the item height in a list?

setting rowHeight in the List layout works for me.

When I change the row heights in a spreadsheet, then save, close, and open it, the row heights are back to default. How can I prevent this?

One of our reports has lots of text in some rows. I import the data, adjust the row width and ask the text to wrap, which automatically sets the row height appropriately. When I save, close, and open that spreadsheet, the width is still the same and Wrap is still selected, but the rows are only one line high, which means that the report is unreadable and a serious pain to make readable.
I can save it as a PDF, but I'd rather be able to use the Numbers format or Excel and be confident that my recipients can read it.

I'm unable to reproduce the described behaviour.
The document containing the table below has a combination of row heights set manually using teh stepper in the Table Inspector (both 0.76" labeled rows), set manually by dragging the row boundary between row reference tabs (labeled 1/13"), and set automatically by Numbers to fit the content of the remaining cells.
Content in the rows with names beginning E, F, G or H wraps automatically to form two rows in the cell. The rest are forced into two lines using a carriage return character.
All maiintained their row heights through two Saves and reopenings.

Can I alter the row height in Discoverer Plus?

I know how to alter font size, but don’t get a benefit without altering row height.

To confirm what Esther has said, you cannot change the row height while leaving the font the same. You have to change the font then Discoverer automatically adjusts the row height.

Need to automatically increase the number of rows of an input text component according to the data. If the data is pretty large, display it in multiple rows or if it is small, display it in a single row.

You can try to put a EL on the rows attribute which points to a bean method where you calculate the number of rows you want to show:
