Hello and thank you to the community for your postings.
melyssar, are you still experiencing this issue with your camera? Have you tried a hard reset? If not, follow the steps below:
- From a home screen, select the applications tab (located in the lower left).
- Select Settings.
- Select SD & phone storage.
- Select Factory data reset.
- Select Reset phone.
- Select Erase Everything.
- Perform Initial Activation by dialing *228 + Send and choose option 1.
That should correct the issue. If the issue persists, send me a PM with your name and mobile number.
Thank you,

  • Droid Incredible keeps deleting all of my photos.

My Droid Incredible keeps deleting my photos. Every time I take a picture, a little later it will be deleted. What should I do to stop this from happening? Thanks.

Last time I checked with customer care/tech support, they weren't able to tell me why.
Mine did the same thing a few times last year.
I got my CPO Incredible around Feb 2011, set my photos to be saved to the SD card, and a few weeks later I noticed pictures of my kids had been replaced by gray or black boxes. Every time I called customer care, I was told to do a factory restore. The first time it happened, the rep led me through the steps but forgot to remind me to back up my data so my remaining pics were lost I didn't think about it at the time either because I just wanted to know why pictures I'd taken of my children were disappearing. I thought it was an issue with the card so I removed it, but the same thing continued to happen.
After about the 5th time of reporting this problem and restoring my device, I gave up and made sure I uploaded my pics on my computer every week. Customer service wasn't even trying to offer another solution other than restoring my phone.
In November, I got a replacement device from asurion after my original Incredible's screen cracked; I'm used the same 4gb microSD card up until last week when I got a 16gb- so far, I haven't noticed any missing photos. Then again, I don't use the camera on this device much after the issues with my first one.

  • Incredible- Camera Lag (and lag in general)

hi there... i just got a "refurbished" incredible in replacement of my older one (speaker blew for the 3rd time)... anyway, in the transition, i lost 30 pictures....
BUT... the camera on this phone is taking over 30 seconds to even start after i push the camera option....  once it's on and we press the button to TAKE the actual photo-  it takes about 30 seconds to shoot the picture.  it's way too long... i don't know **bleep** to do to fix it.. make it faster.. i've messed with all the options, nothing makes the actual picture taking process quicker.  it's awful.
also- the phone itself seems to be lagging in general with almost every operation..  ideas?  anyone else having these sorts of issues?!
    thanks!  jennster

Is the self timer set??  If not, you may want to try booting up in safe mode and see if there is still a delay. If so, you then may have to do a master reset.

  • Face Time & Camera deleted

The apps for FaceTime & the camera have been removed. Also, the laptop that held all my iTunes stuff on it crashed. I tried to restore the apps on my Touch from another pc, but still can not get these 2 apps back. Does anyone know how I can do this?

Pls disregard my post. I figured it out. Even the Geek Squad at Best Buy could not fixed it, but I did!

  • External isight camera shows in use by another application. OSX 10.4.11. Profilers se the isight in firwewire attached periperals. I've tried all of the various suggestions. Unplugging, deleting plist items starting restarting.

I've tried multiple discussion lists and suggested workarounds nothing seems to work. I have an external isight camera that worked the last  time I used it. I switched cables. Plugged and unplugged camera. deleted plist files but this camera refuses to show up in any of the applications. Sound  preferences doesn't recognize that the external isight camera is attached, Imovie says no camera attached even thought the system profiler see the camera in textural detail. I chat shows in use by another application. The are no other open apps.
i've read dozens of articles but it seems that this may be an apple bug. When are they going release the patch?
Any body have a fix for this problem. 6 months ago it workedj

    Hi,
Can you access it it System Preferences > Accounts > Your account by Changing the Pic and chosing the Snapshot option ?
Also consider Audio apps as the iSight has a Mic in it.
IS the System Profiler identifying it as being at Firmware 1.0.3
In 10.4.x  and 10.5.x the iSight Firmware Updater is in Hard Drive/System/Library/Core Services in a folder called iSight Updater  (it is not there is Snow Leopard)
It may pay to try Flashing the firmware again if it is updated and see if that sorts anything. (Last resort)
In the mean time check Activity Monitor
This should list iChatAgent when you start the computer (normal)
vcencoder (lower case) should only start if a video chat is started (or you access the iChat Preview or Video Preferences in iChat.
If vcencoder is showing then use the Quit Button in Activity Monitor and Foirce Quit it.
I would also consider deleting com.apple.ichatAgent.plist at this point. It is this support app that controls access to the camera (Starts vcencoder) and may be part of the issue.
A failed chat and a "Stuck" status in a .plist may try to inform the camera it is in a chat but this would not explian why other computers Respond the same way.
The iSight Firmware may be the only option.
I have not tried this or heard of anyone who has.

  • Aperture to delete images on CF card or camera?

Whenever I finish importing images from my CF cards into Aperture, Aperture asks if I want to erase the images from the card. Unless I want to keep the images on the card I normally agree to erase.
But thinking about this, is this really the best method or is better practice to let the camera delete the images and if so why? Or does it not make any difference.

As far as recovery programs are concerned formatting vs. erasing seems to be about the same. In fact one of the recovery programs I used recommended formating the card to recover the images. Go figure.
Everyone has their own system and precautions. Me... I download straight into Aperture on 2 different computers and have not had a problem with over 100k images. I never delete images from the card within Aperture. After downloading into Aperture I then backup Aperture before ever reformatting the cards, which I only do in the camera(s). I strictly use Canon cameras and have never had a problem cross using cards between different Canon SLRs, but with the cost (cheap) of cards I hardly ever move a card from camera to camera as I usually always have extra cards.

  • Delete recording from VSMS server

In VSMS server, how can delete recording from storage? and can delete some of recording, like 1 hour from all recording or 1 day?

    Hello mshah,
This is not recommended at all to delete recording files manually or for certain durations since every files has reference id created which are being associated to cameras.Deleting files in such can cause issue to the server.
What is the reason behind deleting those files from server?

  • HTC Droid Incredible HD ???????????????????????

He guys i am up for a upgrade now, was thinking of the INC or the droid X but have been hearing rumors of the INC HD comming out end of NOV. Does anyone know if this is true or just a rumor. And if it is true can you get on a waiting list for it? I know i have 30days and can go get the INC or X and take it back if the INC HD comes out but have to pay the $35 fee. Any help would be great. thanks

It is according to the device. When the Incredible came out there was I think at least a two week or more time where we could preorder.
Other devices just show up. I would think it being the gift buying time there may be a bit of a lead. I only question the release day as most phones are released on a Thursday. But maybe because of the Thanksgiving weekend, they will release it sooner. Just keep an eye on the VZW website.

  • Lightroom does not import my images from 70d camera sd card when there is video on it

I am attempting to import images into Lightroom 5 from a wedding that was shot on a 70d canon camera and recorded to an sd memory card. There are also two short videos (less than 2 minutes each) on the card. Lightroom acts as if it is importing with the progress bar showing but it just hangs there and nothing gets imported. I even tried unchecking the two videos but still nothing. I had no trouble importing images when I didn't have any videos on the card.

I have the very same problem. I only noticed it in LR 5.4/5.5. If there are any videos on the card, then Lightroom is unable to see or import any of the RAW files on it. I currently have to import the videos, disconnect the camera, delete the video files, and reattach it before Lightroom can see the CR2 files. This was not an issue in Lightroom 5.2/5.3 as far as I know. I have not changed SD cards or anything else other than upgrading to Lightroom 5.4 (and later 5.5 when I found the problem). Any help is appreciated.

  • IPhoto crashes after deleting files

I import my photo's from 8mg pixel cam, delete files empty trash in iPhoto, quit the app reluanch it and the import is the same size the deleted photos are still in the film roll but when you try to display them there is a white image. it seems to be worse when I crop images and delete then the app crashs with the same results.

  • Iphoto does not recognise my cameras anymore

Up to a week ago my iphoto 11 running snow leopard worked fine and now when I connect my 2 canonixuis 85 is the computer does not see them nor does it open the iphoto program. 3 weeks ago I got the new Lumix waterproof (i think FT3) and it connects fine though has it's own lead. I tried a different lead for the canons and still nothing.
A little frustrating as have a heap of photos to download onto the computer. I searched last night and they said to go to disk utility and do a repair disk permissions and still nothing (but I didn't have the camera connected nor turned on.
I keep the computer always updated so can't remember if in the last few weeks there was a update that may be causing this glitch.
Any help from anyone would be much appreciated.

Thanks for your help, very much appreciated, but I have identified the problem. Once I deleted the nokia sync software (for photos and videos only), turned off the computer and came back later, turned on the computer and hooked up the 2 cameras everything worked fine.
Just to be a pain to myself I loaded up the nokia software again and bingo the computer no longer sees my cameras - deleted software again and yes the computer and iphoto now see the cameras.
Just for additional info the nokia software allows the the so called sync to happen but iphoto opens but it doe not prompt for photos / videos to be downloaded straight into the iphoto but into a folder on the system via the nokia sync software and then you go into iphoto and imovie to do a import into those programs. What I am guessing is this round about way of getting photos into a location that you are use to is a little painful, and I believe it interrupts with other cameras and since they don't have additional software nor can nokia sync see them the connection sits in limbo land meaning while the nokia software for n9 is there nothing else can be downloaded from other camers.
Solution - delete nokia sync software from the computer and use works computer (PC) to down load the odd photo and video to a usb stick and bring it home.
Hope this helps someone else out there.

  • Camera pics look good to you all?

I took several pictures over the weekend at night and was not impressed with the quality, the focus was not clear and the flash was awful, anyone have pics shot at night that look good? Also I didn't like the different color schemes they had, it didn't look like it was nicely done but very basic program, is their an app that works good and can make picture taking on a droid better?  And how is the HTC Droid Incredibles camera compared to this one? I'm thinking of returning for that one, any help and insight to this matter is appreciated.

    Droid X camera is crap.
It uses CMOS (instead of CCD) which conserves power usage, but image sensor is sensitive to noise in low-light conditions.
I doubt it is even true 8 megapixel camera... from the looks of it, it might actually only be 1.3 - 2.0 MP camera using software to interapolate to 8MP pictures, which is probably why it's so blurry.
720P HD video claim... it might be 720P, but records at maybe about 5-15FPS, this is unacceptable.  That's not a video, it's a slide show.  At least 24-30FPS if you want to claim it can record video at any resolution.
You need to read this post because all these shots was taken with the droid x... http://forum.androidcentral.com/motorola-droid-x/22993-lets-do-post-pictures-taken-your-droid-x.html
Hear is some simply shots pulled from site.  The camera quality isnt as bad as you make it out to be, are you sure the camera setting is set on 8mp under the resolution option on your device.

  • Why when I want to take photo , the camera will appear such pink colour vertical line and become black and the video just can record 1 min only  ?

why when I want to take photo , the camera will appear such pink colour vertical line and become black and the video just can record 1 min only  ? why ? is that any problem ?

are you using the iOS camera? if you do, visit your apple store for further help, sounds like a hardware problem.
    or:
hold home and lock button pressed until your iphone restarts.
if that didn't help, visit your apple store.
if you are not using the iOS camera, delete that app.

  • Syncing "camera roll" photos

My replaced iPhone did not receive my images which I had taken from my previous phone. It did not back them up!
Isn't this part of the syncing process?
How can I save images taken with my phone?
I'm pretty upset I lost these images which I cannot replace.

Do you have a Mac or Windows PC?
If a Mac, you can import the photos taken by the iPhone into iPhoto as with any other digital camera deleting the photos from the camera roll and then add select photos back to the iPhone via iTunes.
If you have a Windows PC, what do you use to import photos taken by a digital camera? Whatever that is can be used in the same way to import photos taken by the iPhone.
I'm not sure about photos taken by the iPhone being backed up as part of the sync process.
