Incredible email graphics won't display

Occasionally I get emails with graphics in the email, rather than attachments. The graphics don't display, so I have to open the email on my home PC to see them. On my Droid, I went into email/menu/more/settings/send & receive to find my 'Mail size limit' was set at 5kb, so I changed it to No limit. I forwarded the email from my PC (same ISP), however only a few of the graphics appeared, most did not. My wife has the Droid X and we share the same email account, so she also got the email. She can see all the graphics. What gives? We both have the same OS.

the graphics in my emails are always in the body of the email? i never receive them as attachments? i get many emails with graphics and they always appear in the same manner as when i pull those same emails from my pc. i just checked my settings, but can't find anywhere to change anything that may affect how your emails show up on the device? sorry.

Email content won't display in Mail Yosemite

Hi there,
I upgraded to Yosemite last week and until yesterday everything seemed to work fine. As of yesterday, my email contents stopped displaying in the content window. The only thing that changed before it started was that I used an external display. My mac is a MBP 13" mid 2012, 2.9 Ghz i7.

And sorry, I should have said that before:
It started on the external display and actually the very first time I could still see the message content, it went blank only when I clicked on the "see more from..." hyperlink to unravel the message's full content. Then it started happening to the message as a whole and just by selecting a message to view it. Also, it happens on both the external and laptop displays, on the laptop display both when external display is connected or not, after successive restarts and shutdowns.
I hope this gives you a better idea, but do get back to me if you need more inf.

Compiling order/graphics won't display

I am writing a code which requires a real time print to screen of graphics. I use the validate() command after each graphic should be printed but the program doesn't print until it reaches the end and then prints all the graphics at once. It definitely isn't printing as the instructions say as there should be significant pauses between graphics.
I think it is because the compiler is reordering my commands. Is there any way to adjust this.

Jpeg won't display in my email

Jpeg won't display in my email, all i get is an empty box with a ? mark in the middle.

It's very difficult to help you if at the very least you don't let us know what version of OS X you are using. Please complete your profile. You can do so by clicking Your Stuff in the upper right then clicking Profile and completing the pertinent information. Once we at least know what version of OS X you have we may be able to help you.

Quit the app completely. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the recents tray will appear with all of your recent apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the mail app icon. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar. Try mail again.
If that doesn't work - Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

Safari won't display graphics for some web sites

There are some sites that Safari won't display all of the graphics. For instance, nissanusa.com opens to a blank page with a little "feedback" symbol in the lower right corner. Similarly, the infiniti.com page has some text but no graphics. Both pages open fine on Firefox. There are other pages, but I prefer not to have to switch back and forth between browsers. Am I missing a plug-in that I don't know about?

Sorry, Guys. Somehow I screwed up when I installed the new Safari with Leopard. I don't remember accessing the preferences for Safari and thought they remained the same as for Safari 2. However, upon checking, I discovered the "enable plug-ins" box unchecked. Checking it solved all of the web site problems.
Peter, Thanks for your response. For informational purposes, on Safari 3, the "enable Flash" button is no longer hidden in the Mime settings tab. Now it's on right on the advanced page of the Quicktime preferences.

Iphone won't display entire email message, only preview?

Sprint iphone 4Gs will display only preview of email message. When I tap on the preview, it won't display the entire email message, only the preview. Previously worked fine, only recently started doing this.

I recently had a problem with messages too. Try hooking up to itunes and hitting the restore button. You will have to back up your settings again, but it worked to solve my problem. Hope that helps.

MSN email graphic not displaying

The graphics are not displaying in my MSN email (not html). I do have it setup as Exchange . I have a Palm phone and they do display correctly there. Corporate Exchange works fine too.

I fixed it. I had to delete and as hotmail. I then entered my email as an msn email and it worked.

Layered text and graphic in Word won't display when converted to PDF

I have several simple shapes with text layered in front in my Word document. After they are converted to PDF using Acrobat XI, only the shape will display. I can tell the text is still there, because I can use my cursor tool to select it, but it won't display visually. It looks like it isn't there but it really is. One bit of text is even an internal link, and the link still works but I can't see the text I'm clicking on.
If anyone has any suggestions I'd appreciate it.

Hi Lori - this was perfect! It was an issue with the layers being misordered. I used the Edit Text & Images tool listed under Tools > Content Editing, found the layers, then by right-clicking I was able to bring the text to the front and it all looks great now.
I would like to know why this happened, or if not why, how I could make sure it doesn't happen again. If there's a check box or other setting I could use to remove this problem that would be fantastic.

New iPad 3d gen won't display email attachment???

I have the new iPad with retina display, and I've recently noticed that the default mail app won't display the mail attchaments even though the incoming mails sport the paper clip symbol. In contrast to my iPad, my iPhone 4 opens the attachments from the same mails without any difficulty. I'll sum it up once more time to prevent any misunderstandings. The problem is not the fact that my iPad can't open the attachments but rather the attachments are nowhere to be found. This is a huge bug or what?
Ps: please don't tell me to restart my iPad or do a hard reset. Dohhhh! Thx.
Any help on the matter would be greatly appreciated.

Well duh ... I still don't understand what the heck you mean and frankly, so are there no misunderstandings - your statement makes no sense to me.
If you can open the attachments that is where they are - on the screen of the iPad - you just opened them. Where do you expect them to be?
You open the attachment and then you need a compatible app in which to save the attachment. If you are stating that the attachment opens but is not visible - that is something different. I have never seen that before.

Yahoo email won't display

I got my Rhyme on Black Friday and I've been enjoying it tremendously ever since but recently I've noticed that I cannot view neither one of my yahoo accounts. I will receive the notification of a new email, go to my inbox to check it, it doesn't show the body of the email. It only displays who the email is from and the title of the email.
What should I do? I've tried deleting the account and adding it back in several times and nothing works I really need my email so that I can communicate with my customers when I'm away from home.

You have quite a strange issue with your Yahoo account, but I believe I can help. I would remove your Yahoo account from the phone and download an email application from the Market and then add your Yahoo email accounts in. I believe Yahoo has their own email application in the Market, but since you have more than 1 account in Yahoo, I recommend finding a general email retrieval app. Test it within a different email application. If you still have problems there, you may need to contact Yahoo for assistance since multiple software programs are having the same issue (this most likely means the problem lies on the server end).
Give that a try and let us know how it works for you.

Emails and RSS not displaying correctly

I have had this issue for a while, it's not a big issue but is very annoying.
When I receive an email or open an RSS feed story that has a banner or some kind of graphic embedded into it, it won't display the images.
For example, I got an email from Ticketmaster today about upcoming concerts, it read like this:

Is there something wrong with my settings in Mail? or is it something to do with the way these messages are sent out.

I just wanted to send an update to let everyone know I was able to get my issue fixed (after about an hour with the chat support) and one nof the steps was obvious while the other was not. Sticky Footer was enabled so when the browser window was enlarged vertically, it introduced the white space. Removing the checkmark from that box fixed that issue. Regarding the header giving white space, the tech support person took control of my computer because they weren't have the same issue when I sent them my file which was very odd. They did some fiddling about with the header and grouping of elements in the header and were finally able to get the white bar to disappear when viewed in Preview and on a web browser. They couldn't give me a specific reason why it did that or why what they did fixed it. So, sadly not a lot to go on for how to fix the problem other than 'fiddle around with it till it works,' which is frustrating at best.

PDF docs - areas of the doc only show as grey splotches regardles of viewer
MS Word Docs -
inserted graphics don't display at all,
tables & lists especially with borders are broken &
tables & lists missing the borders &
tables & lists missing the 1st 1-2 lines of the lists/tables.
This is replicated on iPhone 4s, iPhone 4Ss, iPad 2s, iPad new (x2)

We believe it all worked aok in iOS 5.0.1(?) & prior
There is no problems reading/seeing these PDF & Word docs on anything other than iDevices.
This is rather critical for us & if not quickly fixed/rectified will prevent us from further purchases of these devices
Rolling back to iOS 5.0.1 or prior I believe isn't possible because of the BaseBand update(?) & isn't much of an option because of the quite noticeable Battery/Charging/WiFi improvements in 5.1 & 5.1.1

I logged a call with AppleCare & have since had explained why this occurs (some time ago)
I'll try to explain what was indicated to me.
iOS has a limited Font Set & this affects what PDFs can display. You need to use iOS supported fonts in your PDFs to see/read them properly

Regards MS office docs, iOS doesn't have much of an API to work with MS Office documents at all so is stuck with 3rd Party Apps to try to do it.
Unfortunately Mail in/on iOS uses the API to attempt to open/use MS Office attachments unless you tell it to use an App to open the attachment.
I have had success opening & reading MS office docs now with CloudOn, but find it slow & very awkward to use.
Not too sure if this helps others, but at least it explains why this is occurring
