Indentation in CS6 on Mac

Indentation keyboard shortcut doesn't seem to work in CS6 on Mac, am I doing something wrong ? It's supposed to be CMD + Shift + Left/Right, right ?

Are you trying to indent some of your code, or something in Design view?
Either way, the Tab key should work.

    Could try saving as tiff provided layers and transparency are chosen at the time of saving. But it's hard to give a definitive answer as it depends on the final usage. For example PSD's tend to work better in applications like In Design in comparison with tiff.

  • InDesign CS6 on Mac OSX 10.9.3 crashes on startup

    Hello out there
    I have a problem with InDesign CS6 on Mac OSX 10.9.3 and I'm really desperate right now...
    I've installed the CS6 Master Collection some days ago.. all programs (f.e. Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) are working fine, but InDesign doesn't.
    When I try to start it, it suddenly crashes during (or immediately after) the step "Starting up Service Registry":

  • Saving files in Photoshop CS6 Extended (Mac)

    I just got Photoshop CS6 Extended (Mac) and am unable to save files (eg .psd) as a .jpg -- if I select the JPEG option, although that is ticked, it appears in the filename above as .gif or .eps  WHY?? Also, why do I have to select 'Enable' and scroll down a huge list to 'All Readable Documents' before I can open, say, a JPEG?  I've never had to do this in previous versions (and I've been using PS since v.2 -- not CS2 -- !)  I am in RGB and 8-bit and the images are flattened. This is most frustrating. . .

    Restoring/trashing the Preferences can alleviate some unexplainable Photoshop problems, but make sure all customized presets like Actions, Patterns, Brushes etc. have been saved before performing that routine.

  • Tools Panel missing in Photoshop CS6 for Mac

    I have been using Photoshop CS6 for Mac for about 6 mths. now.  When I opened it yesterday to work on some photos, I noticed that my tools panel that is always located on the left side of my screen had disappeared.  I have been unable to locate it anywhere.  Also, the top of my photoshop page looks different.  Any assistance that I could get would be greatly appreciated.

    I just bought a new iMac and I would like to buy Adobe Photoshop CS6 for Mac OS X Yosemite 10.10.2.  I am NOT interested in the monthly subscription for Creative Cloud, so please don't even try and sell that to me.  I was told by the place I bought my new iMac that Adobe would still sell me Photoshop CS6 if I contacted them.  Since I was unable to find a phone number to call, I thought I would try my luck on this forum.  Again, I was told that Adobe would send me a link or something like that where I can buy and download Photoshop CS6.  Since my new iMac does NOT have a CD/DVD-ROM drive, I would only be able to download the software.  I understand that the monthly subscription for Creative Cloud is the newest way of using Photoshop, but I am not interested in that at all.  I would greatly appreciate any and all assistance with this matter.  Thank you for your time and I anxiously await a response.

    I am preparing to make the switch to Mac from my current Windows platform, and I have been doing some research. I found under the system requirements for Adobe Production Premium CS6 that:
    Mac OS X v10.6.8 or v10.7
    So does this mean that my package will not work on the new OS X 9, Mavericks and eventually Yosemite? Or is this just a lack of updates on Adobe's website?

    That was the reason why the thumbnail icons weren't showing up in Bridge. Saving to include XMP data somehow brings in the previews in Bridge.
    I don't really need SVG files for print jobs (prefer .eps or .ai), however this appears to be the preferred file format at the picture library where I bought the vector images.
    Darn, I was hoping that was not the solution, as in order to view the images in Bridge, I will first have to open and  re-save them.
    Seems painful but thanks all the same. Would there be a way in Bridge to batch open and re-save files in another format, say from .svg to .ai ?

I also downloaded the entire suite and installed. Do I need to uninstall all of the programs before installing the suite? There is not an option to install only Bridge from the install package.

    @Naiks, having suffered through unsuccessful synching attempts for Calendar and Contacts myself, l would suggest you try the following:
    UNINSTALL iCloud control panel from your PC. Seems silly, but do it.
    Go into Outlook, and look at the very top menu. Click FILE, then ACCOUNT SETTINGS, then click the popup box.
    You will see a list of all your email accounts. Make sure that ONE of them has a checkmark against it. If not, select the account your want as your default, and click "set as default.
    Exit out of Outlook and reboot your machine.
    Now reinstall iCloud, check CALENDAR and CONTACTS, and do as instructed when prompted.
    Reboot for good luck and now launch OUTLOOK. All that remains is to locate your iCloud Contacts and Calendar files, and make them your default.
    IMPORTANT: Don't panic if you can't find your contacts -- they're there. Click CONTACTS and you'll see you have several available contact files. Locate the one label "iCloud" in grey type. Right-click on it, select PROPERTIES, then click the Outlook Address Book tab. Check the box that says something like "Make this my default Outlook Address Book." Keep clicking "apply" and "okay" until you've exited out of the dialog box maze.
    You may have to do something similar with your Calendar files. I dd not, but if you need to, do it.
    Everything should now sync pretty seamlessly.
    I didn't have the exact same problem as you, but my dilemma was close enough. Good luck!
