InDesign 6.0 stürzt beim PDF-Schreiben ab, Datei ist defekt

Hallo zusammen,
im InDesign 6.0 habe ich ein Magazin mit 230 Seiten Umfang gestaltet. Mit sehr vielen, hochaufgelösten Bildern und PDF-Anzeigen ist dieses Magazin ausgestattet. Als das Magazin fertig war und ich eien kleine PDf schreiben wollte, ist mir das Programm abgestürzt, bei 96%. Danach war die Datei auch defekt. Teilweise fehlte seitenweise Inhalte, einfach weg. Zusätzlich war eine Montageseite enorm groß, obwohl es unmöglich ist, diese einzeln zu verändern.
Habt ihr eine Idee woran es liegt?

Hey Leute,
habe mir vor ein paar Monaten die CS6 - Design & Web Premium geholt.
Funktioniert auch alles super. Bis auf InDesign. Das stürzt leider beim Start immer ab.
Es lässt sich auch nicht starten beim erneut öffnen ...
hab schon mit deinstallieren versucht aber immer das gleiche
kann mir irgendjemand helfen?
oder hat jemand ne Telefon Helpline von Adobe? Existirt sowas überhaupt? suche mich hier langsam verrückt.

Photoshop CC stürzt beim Starten ohne Fehlermeldung ab. Der Dienst wurde ab und wider angemeldet, gleiches Problem. Dieser Fehler betrifft nur den Photoshop. Ilustrator und Indesign etc. funktionieren ohne Probleme.

Du hast absolut Recht! Meine Anfrage war derart allgemein, dass Niemand damit etwas anfangen konnte. Ich habe das Problem mit dem Adobe-Chat lösen können, es hatte mit meiner AMD-Grafikkarte und einem anderen AMD-Gerät zu tun, deren Treiber aktualisiert werden mussten! Das nächste mal werde ich mich deutlicher zu verstehen geben;-)

Adobe InDesign 5 won't print Adobe PDF (Acrobat Pro 9) completely.

I just bought a new Dell XPS 14 with Windows 7 Professional 64-bit. I installed my CS Standard 5.0 and amongst a few other bugs with InDesign, I cannot print documents as PDFs. Only the first few pages will print.
I looked for an update and can't find anything...I am looking for recomendations as I have a draft due to a client.

Is the problem that you can't print the PDF (which is not an ID problem), or that you are trying to print your ID file to PDF and that fails? If the latter, do you see an error message of any sort? And why do you feel you must print to PDF instaed of Export?
Have you installed all the patches for the Suite?

InDesign crashes when i export a pdf, overprint preview and package

I am using CS6 on a MacBook Pro. I have version 10.8.5.
I am working on a manual (original file not created by me).
I was trying to pacakge all the files together but it kept crashing. I do not see the blank window some people have been seeing when this happens. I only get the window about letting Apple know about the problem and submitting the problem to Adobe.
Under Preflight all systems are fine, I have the green light.
I checked that paragraph styles, character styles and master pages did not have fonts missing.
I went through all files and noticed some eps's did not have fonts converted to outlines so I made them outlines and relinked them.
I also changed all RGB to CMYK.
I converted the file to an IDML, reopened InDesign. I also resaved the file to a different name.
These did not seem to help unfortunately.
If there is no visible problem, what can one do? At this point I am trying to pdf one page at a time to see if I can pinpoint as to where the issues lies.
InDesign also crashes when exporting a .pdf and when I try to run an overprint preview. So strange..

Well I don't get why this would have been the problem, but I removed the logo that was on the cover and on the back. Since the logo was all vector, I copied it and pasted it into InDesign (so no links). This allowed me to create a .pdf and to package. This logo has been used several times over and over so not sure why this was part of the issue..

I don't think you understand: I want to open Dreamweaver and build a brand new site, then when I am done I want to host the dreamweaver site on the Business Catalyst platform. I dont want to use anything in BC to build the site, I just want to use the hosting platform. I do not want to import a BC site into dreamweaver or anything like that. I just want to use BC the same way I would use godaddy, or uhost or any other hosting provider. Based on your response you said that "of course its possible to build a BC site in Dreamweaver" I dont want to build a BC site, I want to build a Dreamweaver site and host it on the BC platform. Like I said before it doesnt seem like this is possible. As of now we can only build a new site in MUSE and integrate it into BC without using a BC template. Can you understand what I am saying. I DONT WANT TO USE A BC TEMPLATE, I WANT NOTHING TO DO WITH BC WHILE I AM BUILDING THE SITE WITH DREAMWEAVER, JUST LIKE MUSE DOES.

Illustrator CS6 stürzt beim Start plötzlich ab. Das Programm funktionierte mehrere Monate.
Habe das Programm versucht auf einem anderen Rechner zu installieren. Die gleiche Fehlermeldung.

Sorry, aber das klingt unglaubhaft. Ein anderer Rechner hat genau dasselbe Problem?
Da es vorher ging, muß es mit einer Systemveränderung zu tun haben. Ich tippe mal auf Windows Updates. Das hieße dann auch, der andere Rechner hat denselben Stand, auch unglaublich bzw. unerhört, wie ich finde. Da steht Windows Update wohl "Auto" und zieht sich alles rein, was es finden kann. Kein Wunder, daß solche Probleme entstehen. Mehr als die Hälfte aller Windows Updates braucht man gar nicht, weil die Funktionen betreffen, die die meisten gar nicht nutzen.
Da hilft nur Systemwiederherstellung auf ein Datum vor dem Tag, an dem der Ärger anfing, oder die Windows Updates seit dem Tag X sukzessive zu deinstallieren, um den Schurken zu identifzieren.

InDesign CS3 placing Illustrator files as PDF's

I am working from a PC that doesn't have Illustrator installed (which is unbelievably frustrating on its own). I have a graphic that I created in Illustrator on another computer that I am trying to import to InDesign, and I need to edit it. Since I don't have access to Illustrator, I'm hoping to be able to do so right in InDesign. The file is just a straight Ai file, not a pdf, yet no matter how I try to work around it, when I place the file in InDesign, it reads it as a PDF file. I've included a couple images below to illustrate.
I ensured in preferences that "Prefer PDF" is not selected, as well.
It's not crazy important that I do it right this moment, as I could just change it in Illustrator at home. However, I'm going to be working on this project for a while at this computer, and that "fix" is going to get real old, real fast. I'd appreciate your suggestions, and what I could be doing wrong?

AI files by default are saved with PDF compatibility. ID only looks at
the PDF portion of the AI file.
If you were to save without PDF compatibility, you would be unable to
place the file in InDesign.

You haven't told us what PDF reader you're you're using to watch the video in the interactive PDF. You still haven't told us whether you exported File > Export > PDF (Interactive) or PDF (Print)? Please answer the questions so we can try to help you.

Pages stürzt beim Laden von Vorlagen ab. Was kann die Ursache dafür sein? Auch nach dem letzten Update komme ich nicht weiter.

As a Test:
Hold down the option (or alt) key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Create Library'
Import a few pics into this new, blank library. Is the Problem repeated there?

It's under utilities in the window menu.
If the simple PDF works, that may indicate a problem with the file after all, but one way to to force the export to the foreground is to create a new Book (File > New > Book), then add the file that's giving you trouble to that book. (a Book is just a container format used to combine multiple .indd files into a single output)
From the Book panel flyout menu you can export to PDF and see what that does. Failure indicates a file problem, success a background task problem.
It's a little odd that you aren't getting an error message....
Anyway, if the problem is the file, try export in two halves. If both halves export, it's a system resources problem and not much you can do other than attempt to see what is using all the memory (probably some large complex vector object, or many vector objects) or just do the export in chunks that work and combine them in Acrobat Pro. If one half fails, try exporting half fo the failing half at a time. Keep dividing the failing half until you isolate a page with the problem.

Also nachdem die Frage ja anscheinend schonmal vor einigen Jahren erfolglos gestellt wurde, hoffe ich dass man mir jetzt bei meinem Problem weiterhelfen kann.
Ich möchte wegen transferieren eines Katalogs vom Organizer (PSE9) auf einen neuen PC (mit PSE12) nun nochmal ein komplettes Backup auf eine externe HDD erstellen. Dabei taucht jedoch das Problem auf, dass am vermeintlichen Ende des Backups der Fehler "Fehler beim Schreiben der Datei(en)" auftaucht. Bei der Hotline sagte man mir dass dies eventuell mit den Schreib- und Leserechten der Dateien in Verbindung stehen könnte. Allerdings weiß ich dadurch imm er noch nicht wi eich das Problem jetzt beheben kann. Hat da jemand Ahnung?

P.S: bei einem zweiten Katalog mit deutlich weniger Fotos hat das Backup ohne Probleme funktioniert...

Könnte man das Backup auch direkt im Explorer durch Kopieren erledigen und geht es dann? Wer weiß, was PSE da macht...

PSE 9: "Fehler beim Schreiben der Datei(en)"

Hardware: Windows 7 / 64-bit, Software: Photoshop Elements 9, 1 Katalog mit rund 19 GB
Alle 1-2 Monate sichere ich meinen Organizer-Katalog auf ein externes Laufwerk. Beim letzten Mal lief wie immer alles ordnungsgemäss ab. Am Schluss erhalte ich aber die Fehlermeldung "Fehler beim Schreiben der Datei(en)". Wo liegt das Problem? Ist unter den jpgs eine fehlerhafte Datei? Wenn ja, wie kann ich dies herausfinden. Ausserdem würde ich den Katalog gerne in mehrere Kataloge unterteilen. Wie mache ich dies?
