InDesign bug with wacom intuos
Hello! I have a problem with In design. Since I got a new wacom intuos pen and touch, I have a bug with In Design, it won't save or save as, can't even do UNDO. Does anybody has ever experience this kind of problem? I have mac OS X version 10.6.8 and Adobe CS5.
Thank you!
Yes. But working in CS6. Can't save. Wacom stylus doesn't respond until I tap somewhere out of the CS6 environment and then tap back in the CS6 environment. Then sometimes stylus responds. Also try edit/purge/all action. It seems to help, but in reality this is no way to work.

Wacom know the problem but can't solve it, it seems that the problem is with you, they says.
I had send to Apple feedback too month ago
And now I post here, It began to be a little exagerated
Can you, you and Wacom solve it .... the spring loaded fonction, please.
It's really usefull to navigate like that with favorites in the right column windows fnder.

I'm using Wacom and Mac every days... and manipulate many files directly with the tablet. so
It will be great to hear/read that develloper will take attention to this "more-than-two-years-bug" pointed by Wacom within OS X -
Photoshop CS5 with Wacom Intuos 3 - Problem
I recently upgraded my PC and therefore reinstalled Adobe Design Standard CS5 and my Wacom Intuos 3. But at my first attempt to draw something I realized that the pen pressure isn't always recognized correctly. Therefore I get some lines with and without pressure:
Any idea how I can fix this? The tablet is working correctly with Open Canvas , therefore this should be a Photoshop problem.
Thank you in advance.Make sure you have the Photoshop updates installed.
Then contact Wacom. Photoshop just uses the pressure information it receives from the wacom driver, and they have bugs like this sometimes. -
Photoshop CC brushes extremely laggy with Wacom Intuos Pro!
I've been messing around with digital painting on an iPad for a while, and just bought a Wacom Intuos Pro (medium) so I could do so on my Macs. I immediately noticed input lag from the Intuos, so started to do some testing. It doesn't appear to be the tablet. The same lag exists in Photoshop when using the Mac's trackpad, but the problem disappears entirely when I move into Corel Painter, trackpad or Intuos. Some lag exists in Illustrator, but not nearly as bad as Photoshop - Photoshop CC really seems to be the culprit.
I've uploaded a video (from my iPad; sorry for the quality) of this behavior: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wwR76V-hmLU
Any thoughts? Calling Adobe first resulted in finger-pointing to Wacom (quickly squelched when I pointed out the same problem existed when using the trackpad), and then sending me a link to a 5-year-old Adobe Forum post that's for Photoshop CS4 and Wacom Intuos 4 tablets - that's 3 versions back for Photoshop and 2 versions back for the tablet. (Of course, the solutions present in that post no longer apply.) Here's the link, for anyone interested: http://forums.adobe.com/message/3709366
Any thoughts? Painter seems nice, but I'd really like to be able to do digital painting in Photoshop as well. This issue makes that quite a bit more difficult.I have an intuos 5 touch not the pro. However have user my son's intuos5 pro on my machine for his first pro had a bad touch ring and he wanted me to test his tablet.
I do not have a problem with normal brushes like you show in Photoshop. I can produce long delays using large wet mixed brushes though. However ever small mixer brushes work more like the brush stroke you show using painter painter on my windows workstation in Photoshop CC 14.2.1 current version and prior versions.
I using wacom driver 6.3.7.5 I see there is a version 6.3.7.6 I'll download a try that now.

Lightroom 5.2 freezes when using the spot edit tool with Wacom Intuos 5
Hi,
I've been using Photoshop 6.x with my Intuos 5 for almost a year and it's been great. I recently purchased Lightroom 5.2 only to discover that when I use the spot edit tool that it freezes when i use this tool as a brush. It starts off smooth, but after brushing across my area i want to clone/heal, Lightroom seems to freeze up, and the spot edit tool is unusable. I can lift my pen off the tablet and a few seconds later Lightroom comes back, but the tablet is basically unusable to me. The mouse works perfectly fine.
I've read other posts at the end of last year '12, that walks through some regedits and disabling some other tablet functions, but none of those work for me. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks Ed

Version: 1002:9498:16031462:0000I solved my own issue. I saw an article @ http://www.lightroomforums.net/showthread.php?19694-Spot-removal-tool-doesn-t-work-with-Wa com-Intuos-5-in-LR-5 that solved my issue.
Step 1:
Walcom Tablet Properties
Step 2:
Click on Customize and change the default line graph from this:
Step 3:
To this
Step 4:
Click OK.
After that, my spot edit tool stopped freezing in LR 5.2 while i was using my intuos 5 pen.
Prior to doing this, I also did the procedure listed here: http://forum.wacom.eu/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=8036
So it's possible that both need to be done in order for the freezing to stop. I hope this can help others. -
I use Photoshop extensively with a Wacom Intuos 4 and Apple bluetooth keyboard, and have had no problems (as below) before.
Each time I use the tablet, the keyboard gets intermittently unresponsive, and it will only respond again after I tap the tablet pen on the tablet. And sometimes after repeatedly tapping the pen on the tablet.
It gets so frustrating as I use the keyboard to change Photogshop tools etc, and everytime it doesn't response I have to do the tapping again.
Appreciate some sharing of solutions, if any.
Thank you.I'm having the same issue and its very frustrating.
I use Photoshop and Flash heavily at work, but can't use my wacom at all anymore because:
its seems Shift gets stuck and everything becomes highlighted
shortcut keys won't work
when I drag out rectangle shapes the corners automatically become curved and eventually my rectangle becomes a circle
I will click on a keyframe and the actions panel will automatically pop up
when I try to move objects they duplicate.
More things happen but those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head. When I switch to a regular usb mouse the issues don't occur. I've tried uninstalling the driver and reinstalling and the issues still occur. Its completely slowed down my productivity and is starting to hurt my wrist now :\
Nice to know that someone else has a similar problem at least. Hopefully apple or wacom will come out with a fix soon. -

I have been having a problem with my Wacom Intuos 3 tablet ever since I loaded Leopard. Often on initial start, the tablet is not working. I have to shut down and start again (notice I didn't say Restart because that doesn't fix it). Often after waking from the Sleep mode the tablet is again not working.
Initially upon the Leopard install it wouldn't work at all and I loaded the most recent driver (and yes, it was flagged as the #1 reported problem at Wacom Support) but the performance has been sketchy since reinstalling the drivers.
Anyone know anything else about this? Thanks.I tried what nerowolfe suggested but that did not resolve my issue. I did a few hours trial and error and this was what I posted on the Wacom forum:
I am having similar problems with Intuos 3, driver 6.0.5-2, Leopard and MacBook Pro. On boot up Intuos is working fine, but once computer goes to sleep and wakes up, Intuos is dead. Unplugging and plugging back into the same usb port will not resolve the problem. To fix it I either have to switch usb port or reboot the computer. The initial usb port will be unable to connect to the Intuos until either the computer has rebooted OR the computer has been put to sleep with the Intuos connected to another usb port. The usb port that has been made inoperable with Intuos after sleep IS operable with other devices such as iPod's and usb flash drives. To resolve this problem I have clean installed Leopard and freshly installed driver 6.0.5-2 but the problem remains.
After 2 hours of turning applications on and off, tweaking different settings I have finally found what causes my Intuos sleeping disorder. Bluetooth! Bluetooth on — sleeping disorder, Bluetooth off — NO sleeping disorder.
I have tried removing my paired devices and paired them freshly up again, but still, Bluetooth on — sleeping disorder.
I have not removed any Bluetooth .plist files and such, mainly cause I am a bit tired now and I do not know what to delete. So, if anyone reading this knows which Bluetooth files I can delete to reset Bluetooth as much as possible I would be very happy if sharing.
Hope this problem can be resolved. -
Erratic pen pressure with Wacom Intuos 3 in CS4
Very light paint strokes on my Wacom Intuos 3 produce a full force stroke in CS4 every 3 to 15 strokes. Anybody else have this problem?
This does not happen with CS2. Also, using the Wacom diagnostics, I can make endless light strokes and never see the pressure go above 16%.
I'm using CS4 11.0.1, Wacom driver 6.1.1-3, Nvidia GeForce 6800 with drivers updated 8/10/2009, Windows XP.
Thanks,
-RobWacom has just released a new driver version that some say has cleared up the pen pressure problems:

EDIT: I no longer see the June 2011 driver on that site. It was there earlier today!

Please make XY LOGICAL when rotated with Wacom Intuos 4
I absolutely LOVE the ability to rotate my image with the Wacom Intuos 4 scroll wheel! Hours of time at the computer make this very appreciated for comfort. Some times it's a lot more comfortable to brush in a particular direction.
When temporarily rotated like this, brushing up and down along the surface of the Wacom moves the cursor the way you would expect, up and down your display, regardless of the image's real orientation (since rotating with the scroll wheel only rotates the image in VRAM). The problem occurs when you attempt to use the arrow keys on the keyboard to nudge an object with the move tool. The direction of movement in this case ignores the visual orientation of the image, and instead behaves as though the image is not visually rotated. so… if I rotate an image with the Wacom scroll wheel 90 degrees clockwise, using the up arrow with the move tool nudges objects to the left on my display rather than the VISUAL up. VERY not logical! :^)Bump

Does mac mini work with Wacom Intuos 3?
I am considering a Mini, but must use a wacom Intous 3 tablet. A while back I saw a post that mentioned that they were not able to get it to work, but could not find any other posts about this subject. Is there anyone using an Intuos 3 with a mini and was there anything unique about hooking it up. Thanks ahead of time.
I have a Graphire3 and can't wait to see how it runs on my mac mini. I know the Intuos drivers are awesome because, well, the Intuos is awesome! :P But the Graphire drivers are so much nicer for a mac then for windows. Haha finally I can have application-specific preferences!
Sorry, off topic. But good luck with that Intuos! Hope it works out great! -
Sticky selection tool in Adobe Illustrator CS6 with Wacom Intuos 5 on Windows 7
To make things easier I've made a video to explain my issue, which can be viewed here:
http://youtu.be/dtOEeJ2tGhQ
Just upgraded to Illustrator CS6. Sadly, my Intuos doesn't get along. When using the select tool, it doesn't 'release' the selection rectangle when it should (when the pen is raised). It does this when the pen is raised while moving. Then the selection rectangle 'sticks' to the cursor until, 1-the pen is lifted far from the tablet until it is no longer recognized, and 2-the pen is held perfectly still for a fraction of a second. This only happens in illustrator. It happens with the select tool and the direct select tool.
I've contacted Wacom about the issue, but I figured I should inquire here to see if anyone is having similar issues, or if a fix can be suggested.
I'm using the latest wacom driver (6.3.5w3) and Illustrator CS6 is up to date (16.0.3). Failed troubleshooting steps: disabling wacom touch tablet service, disabling windows pen & tablet service, trying different versions of wacom drivers, adjusting pressure sensitivy settings.I solved my own issue.
Delays with Wacom Intuos pen and spot healing brush
This problem has been discussed a lot both on Adobe forums and elsewhere, in conjunction with previous versions of LR. This thread is typical: http://forums.adobe.com/message/5272942. The gist of the problem is that the Wacom pen tool (not limited to Intuos tablets, by the way) is almost unusable with the spot healing brush -- LR freezes for many seconds when you try to reposition the selected replacement patch. It eventually catches up, but the delay makes this feature extremely hard to use. There seem to be no similar delays doing the same function with a mouse or touch interface.
Wacom is aware of reports of problems, and went so far as to include a "use Windows ink" checkbox on their latest Intuos driver, with the suggestion that you uncheck it to avoid these delays. I've done that, installed the latest Wacom and graphics drivers, and tried every tip anybody has suggested, to no avail.
Of course, I don't know whether this is a Wacom problem or a Lightroom problem, but it's certainly a problem to use them together. I had hoped that LR 5.2 RC would have fixed it, due to some references in the announcement of fixes related to the spot healing brush, but it's still there, no change at all.
Anybody have any ideas?
Windows 8 64-bit
Latest drivers for all devicesWell, here it is January 2014 and the problem is still around. I too, have tried everything I could find with no solution to the problem. Seems that Wacom is blaming Microsoft, which is probably where the blame belongs, but it seems that somewhere in Adobe, Wacom, and Microsoft someone could find a solution to this nagging problem. I took the statements by the Adobe people that once you tried a tablet you would neveragain be satisfied with a mouse as truth, but for now, I regret wasting my money on a tablet.

Major brush lag, no realtime brushing with wacom intuos 5
hi
- most of the time the pen is lagging when i brush, i cannot work in realtime, and have to wait until drawing is finished (2-4sec),
with a soft brush medium size (400px) in documents at 31inch wide at 300dpi, sometimes 8 bit, sometimes 16 bit.
- additionally the key "x" is not working when i brush fast, i cannot switch colors with "x", then i click in the finder, back to photo.cs6 and it works again.
on a daily base, every minute, when i work.
- the photoshop cs6 interface seems to lag / freeze for fractions of seconds or longer, when i brush fast. (why?)
i work on osx 10.9.5 with an imac mid 2013 i5 2,7Ghz with 256GB pci-e SSD (60% available free space), 32GB RAM and an additional external thunderbolt SSD 256GB as extra scratch disc (fully empty) - in photoshop cs6.
any idea where the issues come from?
when i use the apple mouse everything is fine, so i presume, its the wacom driver/intuos 5, yes?
i use to work with my mouse since a couple of month.

Indesign Bug with Auto-Size and fitting in Anchored frames
Hi,
Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a text frame with 2 Anchored text frames with the same width.
2. Make the anchored frames Auto-Size --> Vertical only
3. insert text to the first frame, when type enter to the next line the frame become higher but the next frame remain in the same position. just after typing the first character in the second line the next frame adjust in the right position.
4. The same happen when pasting text that make the frame bigger.
5. The same happen without Auto-Size when fit frame to content.
Does anyone knows about it?
Any idea how to bypass?

LIGHTROOM CC 2015 Bug with Intuos
LIGHTROOM CC 2015
Mac Pro mi-2010 and Macbook Pro mi-2010 - Yosemite 10.3.3
When you put an overlay, it is possible to change the settings with apple mouse or trackpad, using command key. It’s impossible to change this with Wacom Intuos 4 or Intros Pro (driver 6.3.11-3). all was OK in Lightroom 5.7.1
Other bug : Pentax 20-40 exif don’t be displayed even when the correct profil is selected.
Please, share this with developers. ThanksWell what do you know ... this might just be a combination of buggy coding on both Adobe's and Wacom's parts.
One of the problem areas in LR CC or 6.0.1 is as said curves adjustments ... erratic behaviour and unresponsive pen action from using the Pro M tablet made me roll back various drivers, each time clearing the preferences etc. Until I found out that using the latest 6.3.11-3 driver and turning Touch input ON it actually is as instant and smooth action as you'd wish for, if you pick an adjustment point and then two-finger-click-drag.
Furthermore the general laggy and unresponsive feeling of sliders, and in particular using scrubby sliders, is gone if you choose to use touch input. Place the cursor over the desired slider or value and two-finger-click-drag or respectively three-finger-drag.
Even scrolling in grid view using touch input works as well! We just can't use the pens for now in Adobe LR CC.
Please note that in general I've been very satisfied with Wacom tablets and their performance for more than seven years. This is somewhat of a hickup that has been intruduced since OS X Yosemite in combination with newer Adobe applications. None the less it is utterly important to solve these bugs as it makes work frustrating.
Best,
Henrik
