InDesign CC trial disables Ai CS5 functionality?

I currently have Illustrator CS5 on my PC, Windows 8. I don't have InDesign, but would like it soon. I downloaded the InDesign Trial version. I go to do some work in Illustrator, and my type tool will not work at all. I tried resetting preferences. I ended up Uninstalling InDesign (Which it turns out I had InDesign CS6 trial as well as CC version, not sure if that makes a difference). Once uninstalled, Illustrator works.
Is there a compatibility issue here? I'd like to know if I need to upgrade my Illustrator in order to have InDesign.

It shouldn't affect it - however they might have shared resources.
Would be best to see if reinstalling your Illustrator works for you?

Error message when installing Indesign CS3 trial. I need help ASAP

I have searched the forums and adobe.com and have tried everything that I saw. None of it worked for me. I have tried and tried to install Indesign CS3 trial. I keep getting the error message: Indesign has encountered a problem and must close.
I have windows XP and plenty of RAM. What can the problem be? I have done everything I can think of to do. I added more memory and did everything the forums said to try. I really need this for my class. I am getting behind. I cannot afford to buy the program. Please help!!!!!

If you scroll down you'll see there's Windows info there, too. Aside from being sure the fonts are activated, you might try renaming the Sing folder, which should be in Program Files\Common\Adobe.
You could also try Help > Configure Plugins and disable the Sing.apln, but I don't know how you can get there if the program won't start. Maybe going to the Adobe InDesign CS3\Plug-Ins\Text folder and changing the name from SING.apln to SING.bak would do the trick.
If it's really the SING problem, that ought to fix it, but you won't be able to work with Oriental languages.

I bought cs5 months ago and I want to download the cs6 trial. Will downloading the trial delete my cs5 version? I dont want to lose ownership of my purchased cs5.

No. All major versions of Adobe products install separately. Your CS5 will remain in place and fully functional.

After some days trying many methods, yet I haven't find a solution to my problem. Then I ask is there any one

charging function of laptop, or at least put a starting level that up to that level, laptop won't start
autolatically to charge battery, because in this manner once that my Battery reaches to below 100%, instantly begin
to be charged & it would decrease its life time. Please consider that because of my power cable is to some damaged, sometimes it suddenly disrubt & cause my laptop abruptly shut down, then necessarily the battery would always be connected tob prevent this suddent effect.

If you didn't have the opportunity to deactivate the installations then you should contact Adobe Support thru chat and ask them to reset your activations for all the serial numbers involved.

Make sure you are logged in to the Adobe site, have cookies enabled, clear your cookie cache. If it continues to fail try using a different browser.

After establishing the Credit Card account (i.e. after you have made purchases), you can remove the credit card information by editing your payment info, choosing "None".

InDesign CC Trial won't open files

I have been using the trial for about 2 weeks. We work on files off a server at work, and our server went down today. This caused InDesign to crash and when I reopened it, it would no longer open any files. These are files I created using the trial and was just working on earlier today, and now I get the message "Cannot open the file xxxxx. Adobe Indesign may not support the file format, a plug-in that supports the file format may be missing, or the file may be open in another application."
I have already tried the following:
Restarted my computer
Restarted InDesign
Ran Creative Cloud updates
Uninstalled and reinstalled InDesign CC trial
Had a coworker open the files on his CC trial (worked fine)
Can anyone help?

Disable iphone logging function

My IPhone currently having wifi grayed out problem, and along side with it, the logging function is driving me crazy. Because IPhone attemp to active wifi chip every second. It mean that every second, log will be written because of fail on ative wifi chip and it consume battery as well as storage. For a week it grow over 3GB. So is there anyway that I can disable this logging function on IPhone and/or stop IPhone from attemp to active wifi chip?

You can try turning WI-FI off all together by going to Settings>Wifi>swipe off. If the problem persists call Apple call 800-275-2273. Good Luck!!!
