Indesign CS3 + Adobe Pro 9.0 + Mac Snow Leopard

I am not able to create a PDF direct from Indesign CS3. The print dialog box does not have the option for Adobe Acrobat. How do I get this option to appear? I use Snow Leopard on my Mac as my operating system.

Thanks for your response. I am able to save a file as a pdf when I do so from Microsoft Word.
I am not able to do so going from Adobe InDesign CS3 to Adobe Acrobat Pro 9.
I would have thought that an Adobe to Adobe through Apple Snow Leopard would work while the Microsoft to Adobe through Apple Snow Leopard would be a problem.

I say to highlight more than one if you can because if the PDF you highlight was made by using Acrobat, it will change all PDF's made by Acrobat but if you have one made by some other product, it may not change them to open with Acrobat.
So in other words, at some point you may have to do it to a PDF made by some other product.

Printing from InDesign CS4 on Mac Snow Leopard to HP officejet pro K5400

I recently started using a Mac Snow Leopard with InDesign CS4; for awhile it printed fine. Then, dealing with a book mss, I had to get InDesign to convert the document to a PDF, and since that time, the Officejet Pro k5400 will only print in what appears to be the best quality, even when I tell it to print in fast draft, and even set that as a preset. Anybody had that problem? Anybody have any suggestions as to what is going on here? How can I get the printer to print in fast draft? Thanks for any help,

The only observations are that the backup drive is deemed too small and the quite long list of diagnostic reports dated between Jan 18, 2015 (which I believe is the day I upgraded to Yosemite) & today the latest Yosemite update was installed on Jan 28, 2015

Your post has nothing to do with AirPort Networking. You may find that you will get better results if you post to one of the other Communities areas like the Mac OS X v10.6 Snow Leopard or Other Pro Video.

It's probably not a 64-bit capable processor. Check in the Apple menu->About this Mac what it says your processor is. You need at least a Core 2 Duo. Mac OS X has a built-in disk diagnostic and repair program called fsck or file system consistency check. Here’s how to verify and repair your startup disk with fsck. As soon as you hear the startup tone, press and hold Command-S on the keyboard. Keep holding down those keys until you see a black screen with white lettering. This is called “booting into Single User Mode.” As the Mac boots in this mode, the screen reports each step of the process. The line should end in root#. Right after the root# prompt, enter the following: /sbin/fsck -fy
If repairing the disk in single user mode fails, it means one of two things. Either your hard drive itself is failing (a hardware failure), or the directory damage on your hard drive is beyond the capability of the built-in repair procedures in OS X.

It's your set top DVD player that won't play the disk... That or it's the type of disk that you're using.
Make sure it's a DVD-R. That's a MINUS.
They pretty much work in all set top DVD players.
The reason your computers play the dvd's is simply because your computer knows what to do with all types of media. Something else to consider could be the optical read capability on your computer is better than that of your DVD player. Perhaps the DVD is a poor quality disk. You computer can read it because it has a higher quality optical pickup unit.
First things first, take your DVD to a place that sells DVD players and try it in a new player. That'll tell you whether or not the disk actually works.
