InDesign CS6 Update Fail U44M1P34
Any help with this error?
I had a similar problem, most likely caused by MacKeeper which had removed some "not used" information. I reinstalled CS6 and then from within CS6 (under help menu) started update again and all worked fine.

I am trying to update InDesign CC using the Adobe Creative Cloud App in my Mac and I keep getting an error for InDesign. Photoshop just updated fine but InDesign keeps giving me an error.

Adobe Media Encoder was the problem for me. There's no separate uninstaller for AME. My ID CC and Premiere couldn't be updated (for the AME7.2.2 update as the only change). MCMHMPEGVideoCodec.framework seemed to be the factor.
I uninstalled Premiere (only), after having manually removed MCMHMPEGVideoCodec.framework from inside AME. After boot I installed it again and voilà, both (ID & Premiere) updates went trough fine. The MCMHMPEGVideoCodec.framework was on place inside AME too. -
After Effects CS6 Update fails with the code (U43M1D204)
I was just downloading and installing the latest updates on both my windows workstation and my Apple MBP. Everything went fine on the windows machine but I keep getting the following error when my MBP attempts to update After Effects CS6:

I am running the latest version of Yosemite (10.10.2). Is there some half downloaded file I can delete to make this work? I've waited. I've rebooted. I'm VERY reluctant to delete my current installation of CS6 if this is what is required. I'm an instructor at a local community college. The college currently only runs CS6. I teach an animation class that uses After Effects and as such I need CS6 working on my MBP. If this update is non critical I'll just let it ride. Oh, yea and I also keep AE CC and AE CC 2014 for no other reason than I can take a students CC 2014 file all the way back to CS6 so they can work in class. I'm guessing I'll need to add CC 2015 or what ever they call it so I will have 4 installations of AE just to do file conversions..... but that is another thread.

What update is it? What current version of CS6 do you have?
It may be a permissions thing. Mac OSX goes all screwy in the permissions whenever it updates. Try fixing that first. fixing permissions problem that impedes start of Adobe applications -

Please try to apply the updates manually from : http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cc-updates-direct-links-windows.html.
Kindly follow the very important instructions before download.
This error usually comes when you move adobe folder to different location from root drive and try to update the application. If the above mentioned step did not work then uninstall the application and remove all adobe folders. Restart your machine and install the application again and check for updates. It should Work.

Can't Install Illustrator CS6 or InDesign CS6 - Installation Failed
Since I joinded Adobe Creative Cloud, I've been trying to install some of the app available on the Adobe Application Manager.
I've had a lot of trouble with installs especially wiht AI CS6 and InDesign CS6.
Both won't install after downloading.

I contacted Adobe Live help without any success.
They said to try to reinstall with a new user on my computer (which I did) and as I expected it didn't work.
I also red on the forum about maybe trying to download the Trials and that my Adobe ID would update those to full version but the installs also failed there.
I'm running OSX 10.7.3.
I used to have CS5 installed on my computer.
Now only Adobe Photoshop CS6 and Dreamweaver CS6 got installed.
Anyone have an idea what's happenning?

Try the below solution and check if you are able to install the software without the error.
Navigate to: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/PDFL/10.9/Fonts/
To find Library open Finder click on Go > Go to Folder and type in /Library and click on OK.
Delete the Font by the name AdobeFanHeitiStd-Bold.otf
Next open Font Book.
To open Fonts Book do a search in Spot Light for Fonts Book
Check if AdobeFanHeitiStd-Bold.otf is present, if it is present delete it from Fonts Book too.
Once you do that try installing the software.

I was updating InDesign CS6 in order to open PageMaker files. While attempting, I received the "update fail, download error, press retry to try again or contact customer support (49) error message. I attempted a couple additional times with no luck. PLEASE ASSIST.
I had a similar problem, most likely caused by MacKeeper which had removed some "not used" information. I reinstalled CS6 and then from within CS6 (under help menu) started update again and all worked fine.

I received the following Problem Report when trying to open InDesign CS6. "Adobe InDesign cannot be opened because of a problem. Check with the developer to make sure Adobe InDesign CS6 works with this version of Mac OS X. You may need to reinstall the application. Be sure in install any available updates for the application and Mac OS X." I have since tried updating the software for InDesign CS6, but the updates stop at 50%. Up on a deadline and really need some quick assistance please.
Then perhaps you should try uninstalling InDesign. You'll find an alias to the uninstaller in Applications > Adobe InDesign CS6. Then reinstall.

Why does Photoshop CS6 Update fail?
I subscribed to Creative Cloud (CS6) and none of the Photoshop PS6 updates work. Every time I attempt to update PS6 the past four weeks, I get this error message: "Update Failed- Errors encountered during installation.(U44M1P7)." How to fix? My PS6 won't update, and Adobe tech support hasn't been able to help, I've contacted them via CHAT twice. I'm running an iMac with 12GB of RAM, OSX 10.8.4.

When you click the customer support link in that message you go to a Creative Cloud page with no useful links.

In view rearrange by name does nothing now. Increasing size of Icons, increases in other folders.
I used to use icons of pictures with a black background to get the feel of the older times contact sheets. It non-longer works, not the rearranging by name and not black colored background behind the pictures.
