InDesign keeps crashing ever since I switched the user to a domain profile from a local, what can I do?
He's running ID CS6 on Yosemite, and it is random as of now. No particular thing makes it crash, it just displays that the program has stopped running. However when we switch to his local profile he can work with no issue.

MacBook Pro keeps crashing ever since upgrading to Mountain Lion
My MacBook Pro keeps crashing randomly ever since I upgraded to Mountain Lion. Another user suggested that it was bug with the graphic card and suggested that I use gfxCardStatus to control it. However it is only a temporary fix and my computer still crashes. Can anyone tell me what the permanant fix for this problem?? Here is my latest crash report:

It doesn't load any flash content only on Firefox. Tried reinstalling Flash and reinstalling Firefox and had the same problem.

Ever since I downloaded the last itunes and quicktime update ( a week or so ago), I can't access any movies or video podcasts i have store in itunes on my pc (vista). iTunes crashes and my error reports tell me it is a quicktime error. I have been trying to save a document in illustrator and every time I try to, a dialog box pops up and says the following- Can't save the illustration. You do not have enough access privileges. id: -5000....This has been happening ever since I switched to CC and whenever I try to save something in indesign, I get a dialog box that says that my file is corrupt. How do I fix this? I cannot get any work done !!!

Restart Lion and hold down the Command and R keys.
You will boot into the Repair Utilities screen. On top, in the Menu Bar click the Utilities item then select Terminal.
In the Terminal window, type resetpassword and hit Return.
The Password reset utility launches, but you’re not going to reset the password. Instead, click on the icon for your Mac’s hard drive at the top. From the drop-down below it, select the user account where you are having issues.
At the bottom of the window, you’ll see an area labeled ‘Reset Home Directory Permissions and ACLs’. Click the Reset button there.
The reset process takes a couple of minutes. When it’s done, quit the programs you’ve opened and restart your Mac. Notice that ‘Spotlight’ starts re-indexing immediately. -
My iPad air keeps crashing and freezing when browsing the internet . Please help :(
My husband and I updated to the new OS. Now our iPad Air's keep crashing and freezing whilst browsing the internet. We have done a reset and swiped away pages but nothing is helping. Its very frustrating Can anyone help? Thank you Jo
Please tell me that it has NEVER been jailbroke. If it has not been jailbroke, here are some standard repair procedures:
First, confirm that this is what you did for a "reset." Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. It could take well over an hour! Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow the on-screen directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore (or it doesn't help), go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here. You WILL lose all of your data (game scores, etc,) but, for the most part, you can redownload apps and music without being charged again. Also, since you have IOS-7, read this. -
Auto-upgraded to itunes 6.0.5 - crashes ever since
I auto-upgraded to itunes 6.0.5 - crashes ever since. I have - corrected preferences, restarted, closed all other programs, restarted.
Tried to re-install itunes with fresh copy downloaded from your site.
On re-installation dialogue box says the three packages have been disabled.
Got rid of all iTune prefs I could find, tried again, same thing.
SO: I can't use Itunes, i cant re-install ITunes.
PLEASE, someone tell me what to do!Remove the 'iTunesX.pkg' and (if present) the 'iTunesX 6.0.4' files from ./Library/Receipts.
That should at least enable you to re-install iTunes.
If iTunes keeps crashing, it might help to re-run the latest combo-update for Mac OS X 10.3.
Sometimes it can fix these kind of problems.

My indesign keeps crashing when ever I start typing in a text box (CS5) - I followed a similar discussion and the advice was to uninstall and reinstall - I have uninstalled but cannnot find my Master collection to re-install. I'm working on a Mac Leopard - Please HelpI'm a Widows guy with some Mac experience, so these directions may be a bit fuzzy, and someone else may feel free to pop in. My recollection is that you will need to double-click both of the .dmg files (these are disk image files) to mount them, if they don't mount automatically. You may have to decompress the first file further to get it to extract the installer (which should automatically extract the second file). If you are able to run the installer, and enter your serial number, but the number is not recognized as valid it will be because there is some sort of trap for education serial numbers.
If that's the case, you are probably out of luck on CS5, but you may be eligible to upgrade to a full commercial license for CS6, or a discounted Creative Cloud license. I'm not dead certain, but I believe the old serial number should be sufficient to to provide proof of previous license during the install. If that's the route you need to take, you need to do it quickly. Once CS7 is released, and predictions seem to be in about ten days to two weeks from now, at least for an official launch date announcement, your CS5 will probably no longer be good for an upgrade discount. -

Hi, i have 12 multi state objects on a page, and indesign keeps crashing.
i know this seems like a high number, but I have done this to create a work around - ticker (like an old style airport board e.g. https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=airport+board&espv=2&biw=1306&bih=653&source=lnms&tbm=is ch&sa=X&ei=TkYUVb3ZJIb0PJ7DgZg… each set of 3 creating one graphic e.g. 3.35

That said, usually multiple MSOs on the page don't usually cause memory problems because only the first state of the MSO is loaded into memory. If the first state of each MSO is loading a web overlay displaying ticker information, then that's the most likely culprit. Consider redesigning the page so that only a few tickers are loaded into memory and the user needs to tap to reveal additional tickers. -
Ever since I downloaded the latest version of firefox..is running slower, I am not really liking the new format, is there anyway to go back to the old one?
A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
