InDesign Missing JBX and other plug ins?

Downloads fine and CC tells me all up to date but at launch InDesign says it is missing JBX. The plugin folder is almost empty. I have unistalled and re-installed several times. Can't find the plugins.

Ah, yes- that is an ultra high DPI (dots per inch) display. This is a known issue in Flash Player, which Adobe is working on fixing.
In the mean time, you can get some videos to have normal-sized controls by switching Youtube to the HTML5 video player:

Are you using the latest version of Silverkeeper? - v.2.0.2 is stated to be compatible with Snow Leopard.

If it's messing things up you could try asking LaCie Support for assistance.

Mozila Firefox is always asking me to click to activate and use plug-ins like Adobe Reader, Flash, Youtube videos and other plug-ins which it never did before.

I am using Mozilla Firefox and it is now bugging me. After updating it, it is now asking me to always click to activate and use plug-ins like Adobe Reader, Flash, Youtube videosand other plug-ins. I click on activiate all plug-ins but it still asks me to do it each time that I try to use Flash, Adobe Reader, watch a You Tube Video or anything. Why won't Mozilla Firefox automatically actaivate the plug-ins like it used to do. I tried to follow directions on our website for fixing this but it did not work. I am running
Windows XP. Please let me know how to fix this. Thank you.

In the past, to protect you from [https://support.mozilla.org/kb/use-plugins-play-audio-video-games plugins] that have stability or security issues, Firefox could only turn off the problematic plugin. Now Firefox can prevent the plugin from running automatically (which prevents many issues) and then let you choose to run or update the plugin. Garage Band and other Plug-Ins not Working

My Garage band isn't working. When I click on it the icon just bounces continually and never does anything. It was working fine yesterday. I also have a couple plug-ins, KORG M1 and Wavestation, that I use with Garage band and they are doing the exact same thing. Why am I having these issues??

There's no Auval or RA or Garritan Personal Orchestra in the Audio Units Manager in Logic Pro. Though Stylus RMX that I also use and Kontakt Player 2 are there and successfully validated. The RA and Kontakt Player component are exactly in the place you said they would be.
I've since discovered that RA does not in fact work in Logic Express. As for whether it's loading up in Rosetta or PPC version - how do I tell that?
I really appreciate your help but I'm still stuck at square 1. Any more suggestions?!!

How do I use Ultrabeat and other plug-ins

I have a triton LE, MOTU 828, and an M-Audio MIDISPORT 2x2. I just recently got Logic pro running but I can't seem to be able to record the loops that I create with Ultrabeat. How do I record them??? Do I need to bus or send them? If so, how do I do that?

Solo the track you want to record (ultrabeat). go to File> Bounce...set start and end position of the loop and then bounce it. Then you have a loop you can import back into Logic or where ever you want to use it. Hope this helps....

How do I get the Apple tv to play out of my Bose speakers that has the typical white and red plug ins? Do I need an "optical audio" cord (that is what is available as a plug in on the back of the Apple tv that has the red and the white on the other side?

How do I get my speakers to play the Apple TV? My TV is recognizing the Apple TV and the sound is playing out of the TV speakers, but even though I plug my speakers into my TV, it does not play what the TV speakers are playing. Do I have to plg the speakers into the actual Apple TV unit? If so, do I need an "optical audio" plug in?

appletv play audio out of optical out of hdmi and the old alu one play out the RCA too
the typical the white and red plug ins would be RCA if you have a atv2 (the black one) you cant use
RCA as that is analog and optical and hdmi are digital
you can get converters but some would be pricy and could cause delay between image and pictures for video

Button for iTunes scripts and iTunes Plug-Ins is gone in 7.3.x

In iTunes 7.3.x I am missing the upper button for iTunes scripts and ITunes Plug-Ins for the little add on programs like iTunes-BPM and iTunes-Lame.
Does anybody know a trick how I get this button to show up again?

No idea why it's not working. Never seen this problem before.
Only thing I can think of is make sure the name of the Scripts folder is spelled correctly (not an extra space) /usr/library/iTunes/Scripts/.

Adobe Flash Player 11.8.800.42 is the most recent version from Adobe. It is a pre-release version. I am using it without any noticeable problems.
The current stable version is Download 11.7.700.169.

Nodes and DSP-plug-ins

I couldn't find an answer to this question in the manual, so I'd be glad if anybody could give me some more information.
Logic can calculate plug-ins on a node, when the plug-ins are properly installed an the node machine. This works with most plug-ins that are calculated natively on the cpu.
When I use DSP-plug-ins like TC powercore or UAD in a track, will logic be able to calculate the other plug-ins (which are not dsp-based), on a node?
Since I use dsp-based plug-ins in nearly every track, it would be a pity if logic would refuse to calculate the other plug-ins of this tracks on the node.
On the node machine I have the dsp-plug-ins installed, but no dsp-hardware. Would it make a difference, if there would be second DSP-hardware hooked up to the node machine?

Hi,
The Node machine only does CPU (native) plug-ins. It does do third-party ones now. You need to see under the Audio Unit utility to check which ones work on yur machine. The Node does NOT work on plugins that require a dedicated processor. Probably because of the need for the processor, and therefore the different code that those plug-ins are buiblt with.
Try yours, and see which ones work. On my machine I get the following:

Waves (most of them)
