InDesign Server serial number

Hello!!
I want to install a trial plugin to rotate pages, but the company that distributes it ask me for the serial number of our InDesign Server CS4. The problem is that I don´t remember it, so, does someone known how can I get it? I`ve been looking for a command to recover it but I found nothing.

I purchased a used mac mine but the server numbers were not provided. Can I install the new snow leopard on it with a superdrive or do i need to purchase a server serial number?

The serial number should be listed on a card with blue top inserted into the 5" square white package labled "Everything Else".

Os x server serial number

i want to re-enter the os x server serial number without reinstalling the server. can this be done?
i want to do this because although the serial number is correct, the site license information below it is wrong (viewed in server admin).
when i highlight that information and press delete on the keyboard the information disappears but once i hit the save button the site license information appears again.
i need to remove the site license information as i believe it's giving me serial number problems. i don't have a site license so those fields should be blank. randomly the server kills all services and in server admin i've seen "invalid serial number" and also "duplicate serial number".

It is also worth asking the question, "…is anyone, anywhere also using this license key?" With the release of Mac OS X 10.4.7, OS X Server began checking to see if its license was 'in use' on any other platform. Again, such an instance will produce the result you see, and the fact that someone else's site information appears suggest that you have installed a duplicate key, intentionally or in error.
Check to see that your key is accurately entered to eliminate this possibility, or contact Apple through your enterprise representative or through (800) APL CARE to determine why this sort of error occurs.

Server serial number

I managed to get into an unidentified (one of 2) I mac G3's one for sure needs a server serial number to access anew.

I got into the computer today, with the option start, and got in deep enough to start grinding up the trash- it's a 'little guy' with 4.65 and 655 m's available on the server, and 1 G available of 4.55 on the Client. It's running ( Imac G3) on jaguar, and i did get (yesterday) to the fresh opening, allowing new administator!
Now I get to show the boss the mac advantage!

My InDesign cs6 keeps crashing, so my boss ask me to reinstall back. But the problem is, how do I check the serial number? Someone else has already installed it, and we cant track who.

Not very good office/employee management... but if you DID know who, and you had his/her Adobe ID, you could go to https://www.adobe.com/account.html for a list of activated programs

You should find a card (size like a cd jacket) with serial no. It should be put all together with an installation DVD and user manual etc.

OSX 10.2 Server serial number?

Hi All,
I hope there is an obvious answer for this. I bought four G4 xServers from a Japanese company that closed it's USA operations. When I booted them up I found they still contained data and user accounts in Japan. I received the complete pack of 10.2 Server install discs with them so I reformatted the drive and installed a new copy of 10.2.
After reboot the assistant asks for the server software serial number from the CD envelope and gives an example of the format a-111-bbb-222-ccc-333-ccc-eee-f. The sticker on my CD envelope has numbers but nothing that states serial number and the format is not as above. Mine begins zx 122602 ...... I can't find a serial number anywhere else in the envelope.
Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

This behavior sounds like it may be the wrong media type. Is it possible you have an internal CD and an install DVD? If this is the problem one possible solution is to image the DVD to an external hard drive and boot from that. It's much faster than optical as well.

PS Also make sure the unit is unlocked.

Adobe InDesign CS6 serial number invalid

I am installing Adobe InDesign CS6 and I am getting a serial number invald message for number - <Removed by Moderator>. This is for order 14558604 purchased from Insight our third party software provider.

Why doesn’t Adobe have a protected site for this type of support. How am I supposed to know that this is a public forum. Adobe needs to provide a better support system. I am just trying to get the software running for my users.

I purchased InDesign online from a source other than Adobe. I did not realize it until it was too late. I tried to register with Adobe and I received a message "Invalid serial number." Now what?

OSX Server - Serial Number Expired

Hi all, this morning I attempted to access 'Server Admin' via my iPad and found that it could not connect. I looked at the same application on the server and received an error regarding my XServe serial number (currently running 10.5.8) and that it had expired. The server seems to work perfectly, but Server Admin will not run.
I'm not quite sure what has happened, but how do I re-enter the serial number without upsetting any of the existing configuration?

Strange as I can do this on a Server that has the same error message as you? Perhaps because it's greyed out you don't realise that you can actually click inside the fields and make changes?
Do you have port trunking enabled on the XServe? There was an issue some time back that caused this as I recall although I thought it was fixed in later 10.6 updates?

How do change Leopard Server Serial Number?

I set up 2 servers with the same serial by accident (I set up 10 today, got confused) and want to replace the serial with the proper one.
How can I do this without a re-install?

Try the following at the shell:
sudo /System/Library/ServerSetup/serversetup -setServerSerialNumber serialnumber watermarkinformation
If you don't have a watermark with your serial number, don't enter that field.

PPC Server Serial Number on Universal Server?

Sparc server serial number mismatch

Hi All,
I have one question regarding sparc t4 series server.
Is there any possibility that serial_number and system_identifier values can mismatch or are different when we do show /System when logged into ILOM?
If yes,can someone guide how to remediate it,

Serial number is not getting updated in GR

Problem: Serial number in not getting updated GR document (in stock) while going GR for production order.
We are using u201CBAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATEu201D to do production order GR in one development. And we have used serial number profile in which we kept GR as optional. Please fine details of serial number profile as below. We have a restriction that we can not make GR mandatory in serial number profile.
MMSL     Maintain goods receipt and issue doc.     02     02
PPAU     Serial numbers in PP order     02     01
PPRL     PP order release     04     01
PPSF     Serial nos in repetitive manufacturing     03     01

As we are passing serial number in BAPI while doing GR but still is not getting updated in GR document. When we check stock in MMBE, it is not showing any serial number.

Hi Chetan,
Since your MMSL procedure is optional, you cannot carry assignment of Serial Numbers against goods Movement. Though you are passing serial numbers during GR, but Serial Numbers are linked only upto Production Order Level, not upto the Stock. The only option to display the Serial numbers against Stock can be done using MMSL procedure as 3. We also faced the similer situation, whenever ur doing automatic goods movement with MMSL as 02 [Auto GR], One possible solution, is to create a custom program to complete ur GR like using Call Transaction BDC -MB32, not as standard SAP Auto GR, & need to make MMSL as 3...so that both purpose gets served [ Serial number linking to stock & Automatic GR using custom program]
Please share, if you get any better idea
