InDesign trial is not loading

I have just started Creative Cloud and I am trying to download the trial InDesign but nothing seems to be happening...

Operating system? Does it meet the minimum requirements? Where is the link where you're trying to do the download?

ANy help would be great. The desk top, pop-up shows the loading icon, just spinning around and nothing happens. I have downloaded a 2nd trial, with same results. I don't want to buy CC unless I can get the trial to work.

CS6 InDesign plug-ins not loading when launching

I just purchased CS6 Standard. when launching InDesign, the adobe plug-ins are not loading causing error messages. I have re-installed twice, but get the same error messages. At the end of several error messages, I get
'Cannot open resourse file." Can anyone help me?

I'm a little confused with what you write. There is a difference between extensions and Plug-ins. Plug-ins are installed using the plug-ins installer and extensions are installed by "Adobe Extension Manager (version)" where version is the Photoshop version and the extension package must be created for that particular Photoshop version. A CS5 package will not work in CS6 etc. Installed extensions will be listed in Photoshop under menu Windows>Extensions>List of them. Plug-in may install in the Filters menu or a place like menu File>Automate>Names. Installed Extensions that you installed should also show in the "Adobe Extension Manager (version)" window. Adobe installed extensions like Kuler and Mini Bridge do not show in the "Adobe Extension Manager (version)" window.

Indesign :: OTF fonts not loading anymore

As of this morning my OTF fonts will not load in Indesign. Anyone else having this problem?

Stan I'd be willing to bet that your problem has nothing to do with Open Type Fonts.
could be a bad Hard drive. If I were you I would go and Buy a new Hard drive and reinstall everything on that then if everything works as it should reconnect the old dreive and try to rescue any data that you may need to save.
If the problem is not solved then you need to take your computer to the shop and have a qualified tech look at it,

Indesign Cs3 trial period not load!

hi all, i've installed indesign cs3, at opened indesign,
appear a scren to chosen 30-days period trial or enter a valid
product number. I chooose the trial period and show a message: "a
problem was encoutered while trying to load the trial period for
Adobe InDesign."
How i fix this?

issue.

PSE8 trial will not load onto my MacBook

I have downloaded the free trial twice now and no luck either time.
I have a MacBook, 2 years old, with OS X 10.6.4 loaded and plenty of available space - so requirements are met.
It takes me about 2 hours to download the Free Trial and eats up 1.24 GB of my 12 GB monthly allowance.
Here's the problem:
When the download is complete a window comes up for me to click and "Install Now".
A dialogue box then asks if I want to open a program downloaded from the internet, to which I reply "OPEN"
A blue working bar appears and words which tell me that it's "connecting....."
Then the entire thing disappears and nothing has happened.
Above is a screenshot of yesterday's unhappy download.
Below is the download from the day before.
I am to start a course next Monday Aug 2 - As I am in Australia, it will be still Aug 1 in the USA.
One further complication is that I have the program on my iMac and undersand that I can also have it on my laptop using the same serial number as long as I am not using them simultaneously.
What more can I do?

Hi Marcia,
After the download completes, you need to double click on the PhotoshopElements_8_WWEFGJ.dmg file. Afterwards, it should open a finder window, in there browse inside the "Adobe Photoshop Elements 8" folder and then double click on the Setup.app. That will launch the installer in UI mode and you just have to follow the on-screen instructions from there on.
Regarding the usage, you can use PSE with the same serial number on two machine simultaneously at the max, if you install and try to use it on third machine, then you must deactivate it on either of the two previous machine.
So in short, you should be successfully be able to install and run it on your iMac and laptop at the same time.

Indesign CS5 will not load, it crashes

I am unable to load InDesign CS5 on a new MacBookPro with Yosemite 10.10.1, can this be fixed?

How did you install it? Migration doesn’t work.
If that’s what you did, uninstall, run the cleaner tool, and reinstall it correctly.
And please take note the CS5 is not supported under Yosemite. If it still isn’t working, I’m afraid you’re on your own.

Indesign CS3 will not load

I have Adobe Creative Suite CS3 installed on my home PC (Windows XP). All the Adobe programs will start without problems, except Indesign CS3. Nothing happens when I try to start the program. Not even a message comes up? Can anyone help me solve this problem?

I have the same issue on a pc that I've loaded CS3 on. I have a corporate license of CS3 and know for sure the seat is available for install to this machine. It's a Dell Optiplex GS270, P4 @ 2.66Ghz, 2GB ram. the OS is XP pro, fully patched. I'm only using a single Dell monitor. I ran typical install of CS3 from disk, got all the updates from Adobe. Everything opens just fine except for InDesign. When I try to launch the InDesign.exe process appears in Task Manager for 1-2 seconds and goes away. Nothing else happens, no error messages, nothing.
I've loaded CS3 on my other users without any problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

InDesign CC 2014 not loading saved swatches

I'm having some issues with my swatch library in InDesign. I've set up a couple of colour groups with swatches in them to load as default, and this works fine when creating new documents, however they don't load into previously saved documents and don't show up at all.
I've cleared preferences and that hasn't worked either, any ideas what to try? I just want them to stay persistent in my swatch library for all documents (same as the default swatches do at the moment).

Default swatches don't load into already created documents. If they did, if would be hard to keep a clean Swatch Pallet; any colors I didn't need and had deleted would come back every time I re-opened it.
You will have to use Load Swatches, and choose a document that contains the new swatches to import them from.

Video is not loading in Interactive PDF created using Indesign 6.0

Hi All,
I am adding the mp4 video within the Indesign 6.0 and when I convert the same into the interactive PDF format but video are not loading at all in iPad. I have added the custom HTML tag as object but still its negative results.
Please help me out if you have any suggetions on how we can have the video running in interactive PDF on iOS.

Not all readers on an iPad can show video! In fact Adobe Reader cannot! You must third-party apps. The best is PDF Expert from Readdle (US $10).

Sorry to say it, but I think you can see from Bob's response that there's no way to solve this rapidly.
Did you take an image of your Mountain Lion install before upgrading to Yosemite? Roll back to that. If you're not in the habit of taking a snapshot of your system before performing operating system upgrades - get in that habit. If you are dependent on anything at all on hour computer, having a reliable backup method in place is essential. If you don't have a Time Capsule, or some other way to run Time Machine onto a disk that's not in your computer, go set that up yesterday.
If you can't just remove Yosemite and roll back to Mountain Lion for whatever reason, you can partition your drive so that you can install both Yosemite and Mountain Lion on the same drive, and then boot into Mountain Lion when you need to work in CS5. Or you can take your Mountain Lion disc (I assume you have one, no?) and then use it to create a virtual machine in something like VirtualBox to run Mountain Lion from inside Yosemite.

Fonts will not automatically enable in Font Book, fonts also will not load Adobe CS5 Indesign or Illustrator.

My fonts stopped enabling automatically in font book, and do not load in Adobe Indesign CS5 or Illustrator CS5 when I use these programs.
The font names are usually displayed in brackets such as [Times New Roman] in the drop down menu for fonts.
So far I've found two different libraries for font, but I'm not sure about deleting them for fear of losing my fonts.
Also where do I find the font cache? If I clear it, can I possibly get the fonts to enable themselves again.
I'm using a 2006 Macbook Pro, and running Snow Leopard (Mac OSX 10.6.8).

CS6 upgrade suddenly will not load, telling me it is a trial version of CS6 Ext and I must register.

I upgraded from CS5 to CS6 for my IMac. I downloaded CS6 put in my serial number and it worked fine for a number of weeks. Suddenly, when I went to use it it said it was a trial version. I had to register it to use my CS6 I registered it and it worked, but only as a trial version of CS6 Extended. I do not want CS6 Extended. I deleted it from my hard drive and once again downloaded my upgrade of CS6 again with my serial number and it worked fine for a couple of weeks. Today, once again, it tells me it is a trial version and will not load unless I register the trial version. What the heck is going on? This is crazy. I simply want to use CS6, for which I paid. Help!

Indesign cs5 Trial Download not working.

Hey,
Ive downloaded the trial version of Indesign but when i try to open it up it asks me to log into my adobe account, so i put in all my details, it authenticates my Adobe ID then comes back at me and says "Could not start your Adobe CS Live Subscription at this time, please try again later." it contiues to open up InDesign and then pops up with a window saying "Adobe Indesign is not licensed properly and will not quit."
Please Help me! it doesn't matter how often i try i keep gettin the same result.

There should be a "skip this step" option if you look closely during the install.
That said, it kind of sounds like you got the installer to finish, so reinstalling the trial may not be an option. CS Live would only be available for a paid license...
