InDesign Trial Version for iMac is Crashing - Can only Force Quit at hello .. Help!

Hello Smart Adobe Users..
I'm a publishing designer and wanted to upgrade to the new InDesign 5.5, but the trial version keeps crashing on my brand new iMac - Lion. HELP! I uninstalled then installed it twice, but it still happens. Its only a trial, but I'm afraid to buy it if this happens with the purchased version. The Trial Creative Suite 5.5 works fine - all but the InDesign. HELP!

pororo: It appears that report is from a hang rather than a crash -- the program appears to stop but does not exit and crash. Is that the symptom you are seeing?
Regardless, it looks like it is related to SING. Please see http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/408/kb408816.html for details and the fix.
You can download the 7.5.2 updater from http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=5275 which is linked from
http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=31&platform=Macintosh (out of order at the bottom of hte page).
Let us know if the SING fix works!

    There's nothing you can do. You realyl have to upgrade your operating system, if your Mac allows.

    When i open a program it can't load. nothing happens it doesn't even open. It says it's not responding and the only thing i can do is force quit. It happens to these programs: mail, safari, i-photo, systempreferences, software update, stickies, sherlock(and maybe more)
    (I tried changing the .plist files in library/preferences but it did'nt help)
    Please help me with this...

  • Apps lock-up, can't force quit...HELP!

    I just installed Camino, and now have it as my default browser. I quite like it, but I am having trouble getting it to quit, from the dock, or when it's open.
    When I try to shut down, I get error messages that state: Camino will not quit; force quit? or something, and when I choose the force quit option from this message, it still won't quit.
    I also get the error msg. 'Logout failed/timed-out/cannot quit MirrorAgent'.
    MirrorAgent???? Any suggestions would be most helpful; this board has been my best resource yet!

    When you installed Camino did you drag the application to your Applications folder, or do you still have the .dmg? If you have the .dmg you may be running it from there. To quit Camino open Utilities/Activity Monitor/MyProcesses, then choose Camino and "Quit Process" from the AM menu bar.

    There are many ways to provide a DEMO version .
    A better and easy way is in J2ME startAPP() method decalre a variable of DATE datatype and Hardcode the date & verify the Date to start the Application..

    Create a Recordstore Increment the number of opened times from startAPP() ..

    create a Unique string in Application . Place a permission file in any webserver.
    add the key in the permission file .
    Create a Httpconnection to the file and verify the key is present in the file and control the application..
    make sure your client should have GPRS enabled handset..
    you can use your own web server or use
    geocities.com and upload a textfile..

    If you paid for a subscription you don't need the trial. Log in with the Adobe ID associated with your subscription to activate the program.

    Go into Time Machine (the program not the bundle on the extrnal disk) and using Time Machine's browser go to the Folder where the library lives. You could look in the library bundle in Time Machine but that won't really tell you much,
    If you want to make sure it truely has backed up your library you will need to restore it and open the restored library with Aperture.
    If all this still has you confused you need to read up on Time Machine in order to get a feel for how it works, for what it is doing and for how to restore files from it.

    Here's how to convert the Trail to Permanent:
    On receiving Trial/Trial Expired screen
    Make sure that you are online
    Click on license this software
    Perpetual product owners: Log in with adobe ID and enter product serial number
    Product should be licensed successfully

    What are you trying to achieve?  Are you editing movies as a hobby? Or trying to build a business – and, if so, what kind?
    iMovie is the first thing that comes to mind. Not the depth of FCPX, but it can still do some excellent work.

    I set up an Adobe account, loggied in, and downloaded the Indesign trial version, however, when I tried to install it, the system kept saying my user ID (e-mail address) and password did not match, even if I was able to sign in before. I clicked on the trouble with signing in link, and entered my e-mail address. The system then said that e-mail address was invalid. So I tried to use a different e-mail address to create a new account, however the system said that the new e-mail address already exists. What should I do?

    For windows, you can download "SAP NetWeaver 7.01 SR1 SP3 ABAP Trial Version" and "SAP NetWeaver 7.01 - ABAP Trial Version ". Only 7.01 trial is available for download for Windows. 7.0 trial is only available for Linux.
    These are available on the same page as the ones you've seen.

    CC and CC2014 are the current versions of Photoshop.  CC stands for Creative Cloud.

    Windows for Mac Desktop Virtualization - Try Fusion Free: VMware Fusion | VMware India
    And you can download  prepacked /pre installed sap machine from SDN

    I am using SAP application server using VM machine->Fusion6 and prepacked trial version.
