Indesign XML/ Fehler beim Import

Hallo,
ich habe ein kleines Problem. Beim importieren der XML Datei in mein Indesign Dokument werden in den jeweiligen Textboxen, ungewollt Zeilenabstände zwischen den Texten eingefügt.
Wie ich vorgegangen bin: Ich habe zuerst meine Textbox als Textrahmen definiert und einem Tag zugeordnet. Danach habe ich die gesamte Textbox angeklickt, bin auf "Bearbeiten" -> "im Textmodus bearbeiten" und habe hier nun den jeweiligen Texten, Tags zugeordnet.
Beim Export bzw. Import wird zwar der gewünschte Text mit der richtigen Schrift und Größe in die richtige Textbox eingefügt, jedoch mit ungewollten Zeilenabstand und somit verschiebt sich mein Text natürlich in die Länge.
Würde mich freuen, wenn einer von euch eine Lösung zu meinem Problem hat.

I just posted a question about this ( http://forums.adobe.com/thread/844501?tstart=0 ) due to the same problem. Goes for CS4 as well, but only on Mac. I have not observed similar problems in Windows.
My href paths looks like this in the XML file:
file:///filename.jpg
and I've also tried
file://filename.jpg
So after I've located the folder and the first image I would expect InDesign to go on placing images from that folder, just as it does in Windows.
A possible workaround would be to put the XML file to import into the same folder as the images.

Recently we switched over to the latest DocBook V5.1b2.
This DTD includes entityref attribute whose required value is an ENTITY.
Unfortunately this attributes throws error while validating in InDesign, which doesn't when validated with other XML validator tools after exporting.

"Within" InDesign, no, nothing you can do. It's documented though, as you found out yourself, and the solution provided might work.
Can you show a tiny snippet of XML where this entity attribute is used? It ought to be quite simple to write an XSLT that removes this attribute and does an identity transform on the rest of the data, and to apply this XSLT on importing your XML.

Ich arbeite gerade mit ein paar Leuten meiner Stufe an unserer Abizeitung. In der Zeitung hat jeder Schüler einen "Steckbrief". Die Daten, die in diesen Steckbrief sollen, haben wir in einer XML-Datei. Die Datei sieht so aus:

Wir haben nun ein InDesign-Template erstellt, in das die Inhalte einiger Felder eingefügt werden soll. Das kriegen wir aber nicht hin.
Problem ist:
1. Wir haben ein Textfeld für den Namen und ein Textfeld für den Steckbriefinhalt. Diese beiden Felder müssten ja das Tag <abi> zugewiesen bekommen. Wir kriegen das aber immer nur auf eines der Textfelder hinzugefügt. Wie geht das?
2. Wenn wir die XML-Datei importiert haben und alle Tags erstellt haben, wissen wir nicht wie's weiter geht. Wir haben die Seite mit den Tags vervielfacht und wollen jetzt die Daten einfügen. Wie?
InDesign Version ist CS5.5

DATEV - beim Import in DATEV kommt Error #RE04405 - Die Eingabe im Feld EU-

Hallo,
wir bekommen bei einem Kunden seit dem Update auf 2008 SP01 PL09 einen Error beim Import des SAP Exports nach Datev:
#RE04405 - Die Eingabe im Feld EU-Land ist nicht zulässig.
In der exportierten Datei steht im Feld EU-Land 'No'
Was meiner Ansicht nach nicht ganz falsch ist, da die Journalbuchung zu einer Bestandsumlagerung ohne GP gehört.
Kann mir jemand sagen, woran das liegt?

haben das gleiche Problem bei einem Kunden mit SP01 PL09.
Ich vermute das es sich hierbei um einen Export Fehler des DATEV-Addons handelt, denn im Exportfile sieht man folgenden Eintrag "ºNo Name ".
"º" steht für den HEX-Code "BA" was laut DATEV-Schnittstellenbeschreibung den beginn der "EU-ID" angibt. Die nächsten beiden Stellen stehen für das EU-Land und dann kommt die USt-ID, also hat er dann Probleme mit dem Eintrag "No Name".
Als Workaround haben wir jetzt die Export-Datei verändert und den Eintrag "ºNo Name " bei jedem Eintrag rausgelöscht, damit der Kunde seine DATEV-Daten importieren kann.

Fehler beim Extrahieren in das temporäre Verzeichnis

Hi,
versuche die InDesign App aus der CC herunter zu laden. Nach 41% des Vorgangs tritt beim Extrahieren immer ein Fehler auf. "Fehler beim Extrahieren in das temporäre Verzeichnis". Am Speicherplatz kann es nicht liegen (ist hinreichend vorhanden). Was kann ich tun?

Wissen Sie denn genau, wo das temporäre Verzeichnis ist, das bemängelt wird?
Könnte es beschränkte Rechte haben oder wird es von einer Antivirussoftware überwacht, die dazwischenfunkt?

Keine Tonspur beim Import von M2TS-Dateien in Premiere CC

Ich weiß, das ist ein bereits viel diskutiertes Thema. Ich hab verschiedene Beiträge dazu gelesen, verschiedene Lösungsvorschläge ausprobiert. Geholfen hat bisher nichts. Es wird ausschließlich die Videospur importiert. Premiere zeigt keinerlei informationen für die Audiospur an - als wäre sie gar nicht vorhanden.
Ich verwende Premiere CC auf einem ganz neu aufgesetzten Windows 7 Ultimate Rechner und versuche, M2TS-Dateien einer Sony DSC-RX100 zu importieren. Alle diese Dateien haben in Premiere keine Tonspur. In allen anderen Programmen laufen diese tadellos.
Offenbar gibt es dieses Problem schon seit CS6 - es wäre fein, wenn es inzwischen auch eine Lösung gäbe. Was hab ich bisher versucht?
Neuinstallation - ergebnislos
Updates - Premiere ist auf dem aktuellsten Stand
Neue Verlinkung der Dateien mit Kopien in einem anderen Ordner - ergebnislos.
Import sowohl von der Festplatte als auch direkt von der Kamera - beides funktioniert nicht.
Audio-Voreinstellungen beim Mixdown verändern - ergebnislos
Import direkt in den Media-Encoder - funktioniert nicht, weil auch dort schon beim Import keine Tonspur vorhanden ist. Daher ist auch eine Umwandlung hier nicht möglich.
Die einzige und ziemlich unbefriedigende Lösung, die ich derzeit habe, ist, die Files vorher mit einem Converter in MOV-Dateien (H264) umzuwandeln. Das kann nicht die endgültige Lösung sein!
Hat wer noch andere Vorschläge, die funktionieren?

Hi,
You can pass the image url as a href attribute=> file:///Users/me/Documents/my_pic.jpg directly within your xml. It just needs that you pass a local, static and valid url.
If you want to add image later once the xml is flowed and so target specific nodes and inject images, it's a bit more complex. If the node is not part of the layout, you may try to reach the XMLElement objet and such an attribute, then layout the element.
var x = some XMLElement
x.xmlAttributes.add("href","file:///Users/m/Documents/my_pic.jpg" );
If already placed, then you have to get the associated pageItem, then place your file into it.
pagItm.place ( File ( "/Users/m/Documents/my_pic.jpg" ) );

IDoc adapter inbound channel: Error Fehler beim Le

I have a BIG problem. I want to use IDOC - XI - IDOC. I have configured the connections. But when I send the Idoc to the XI. it returns a code in the SM58 "IDoc adapter inbound channel: Error Fehler beim Le" The Message comes cut, it doesn't return all the message. In the XI doesn't give me any error, nothing. The IDOC says thta it has been sent correctly (Code 3). How can I trace the IDOC from de sender to the XI?
I wanted to use the IDOC HRMD_A06 but now i'm trying with SYIDOC to see if it passes.
Can Someone help me?

Inbound and outbound connections should be secured by Secure Network Communication (SNC).
Is that correct? maybe that's why it says the that error

InDesign CS3 crashes when importing multiple files.

I've got a new box that's been running pretty solid for several weeks now. It's Win 7 with 8 gigs. Just last night it starts crashing when I'm importing multiple files. Doesn't matter if it's JPGs, TIFFs, or PDFs.
I can import all the same files one by one using the place command.
Importing multiples using the place command or dragging & dropping crashes.
It's not a case of placing a PDF using the bleed box and no bleed box is set. And that usually doesn't crash InDesign, just fails to import.
I deleted the preferences file to no avail.
CS 5.5 has no problems. No, I can't just use 5.5. I'm the only person with it and really only use it for converting files for customers that don't have the common sense to send a PDF. Other people in the shop have to be able to open these same files.
Any ideas? This is already a pain since one of my main jobs is ganging business cards 72 up on a sheet.

Hey Leute,
habe mir vor ein paar Monaten die CS6 - Design & Web Premium geholt.
Funktioniert auch alles super. Bis auf InDesign. Das stürzt leider beim Start immer ab.
Es lässt sich auch nicht starten beim erneut öffnen ...
hab schon mit deinstallieren versucht aber immer das gleiche
kann mir irgendjemand helfen?
oder hat jemand ne Telefon Helpline von Adobe? Existirt sowas überhaupt? suche mich hier langsam verrückt.

Photoshop Elements, Fotonummern umkehren beim Import

Hallo,
Vielleicht weiß jemand eine Lösung für mein Problem:
Beim Importieren meiner Fotos von der Speicherkarte in den Fotobrowser von Elements werden immer die neuesten Fotos zuerst angezeigt und so werden auch die Nummern vergeben. Ich möchte aber, daß das älteste (also das früher aufgenommene) Foto die Nr. 1 erhält. Wenn man dann im Fotobrowser die Anzeige verändert, stimmt zwar die Reihenfolge nach dem Datum aber nicht nach der Nummer. Vor allem wenn man so wie ich nach einem langen Urlaub 3 Speicherkarten lädt sind die Nummern total durcheinander. Gibt es eine Möglichkeit die Fotos direkt beim Import umzukehren?

mit welcher Version arbeitest Du? Mit PSE 5 ist mir das zum Glück noch nie passiert. Ich habe allerdings auch den Verdacht, dass hier auch das Betriebssystem mitspielt.

Dass eine nachträgliche inverse Umnummerierung bei 3 Speicherkarteninhalten kein Spass mehr ist, kann ich mir gut vorstellen. Kann eigentlich nur noch gesteigert werden, wenn parallel JPG- und RAW-Dateien umbenannt werden müssen.

Can't open any of my projects: Fehler beim Aktualisieren der Medien

Hi there, Im speechless.
I wanted to open one of my DVD-Studio projects and can't open any of them. The project loads and before the progress-bar reaches the end, it stalls at the point "Verknüpfungen aktualisieren" (sth. like "refreshing links"). After hitting "Cancel" and trying to open a new project, at the same point a bundle of windows appear, all saying sth. like that:
Fehler beim Aktualisieren der Medien
/Volumes/Video/Showreel/DVD-Studio Pro Dateien/Medien/Standardversion/Sequenz 1-MPEG 2; GOP 6.m2v“ verwendet nicht mehr das unterstützte Grafikformat. Aktualisieren Sie die Medien auf ein unterstütztes Format, bevor Sie sie in diesem Projekt verwenden.
Means sth. like: "The mentioned file doesn't have the supported graphic-format anymore. You have to take a supported format."
I don't know what to do. I did not change any file in the projects. The only thing I changed was to intsall the Pro-Aplication update. Is it possible to uninstall this?
VERY annoying. Any suggestions?

Thanks for your reply and your link. I did a clean uninstall and reinstalled DVDSP, but it's just the same. There are about 10-20 windows popping up (depending on the project I try to open), mentioning different files, which are not in the right format anymore.
I invested plenty of time in different showreels - I can't open one of them anymore.
I don't know what to do. ANY help?!

Fehler beim Starten - Anwendung konnte nicht richtig initialisiert werden

Hallo - Wie ihr schon an den Topic erkennen könnt ist bei meinen bereits Registrierten Photoshop CS5 ein Fehler beim start.
Es erscheind der Code: Die Anwendung konnte nicht richtig initalisiert werden (0xc000001d). Klicken Sie auf "OK", um die Anwendung zu beenden.
Diese erscheind nachdem ich "OK" gedrückt habe nocheinmal.
Ich mache jetzt noch ein paar Bilder von Cpu-Z

Die Fehlermeldung deutet auf ein Windows-Problem hin.
Hier ein Thread mit ähnlichem Hintergrund.

Ein kurze Abstecher bei Google lieferte mir Hinweise darauf, dass das Problem bei bestimmten AMD-CPU's auftritt, wenn diese noch kein SSE2 unterstützen.
Es kann aber auch etliche andere Ursachen haben.
Ich empfehle mal das Event Log von Windows nach mehr Einzelheiten zu durchsuchen.
