Hi,
indexing involves additional I/O when performing DML on indexed tables. For example, if your table has 10 indexes, then when you insert or update one table row, you will need to update 10 indexes to reflect these changes. This causes additional I/O.

struck up with minor problem,
We have a application designed in VC.It contains
Create request
Approve Request(approve or reject buttons)
IF approved then
a.Book Request IView
b.Summary Iview
If Rejected then
a.rejected IView.
When i am designing Process with Sequential block,
all the actions namely
create request
appprove request
reject
book
summary
are processingone one by as action mentioned in sequential block irrespective of approved or rejected.
I cannot go for alternative block, since the result state buttons are desinged in IView only namely(Approve/reject).
How to overcome this probelm any suitable solution?

Splitting Input/out put tax to different profit centers

My sales order has two products and two different profit centers assigned in the Material master.
Product A             10000 ( PC x)
Product B               5000   (PC Y)
Output tax             2000
Custmer Dr,        17000/-
I want to split out put tax 2000 to profit center x and Y same like F.5D & 1kek, which will split the receivable and payable and transfer to profit centers
Please advise how to go about with this.

Out-puts for mac mini

while sitting by my computer the other day i realized that my music stopped playing and my screen lost all video. my screen said "no input". the computer was not "sleeping", it just stopped all out-put the only way i can get it to go back on is to restart the computer. this happens at random times while i am using it. what is going on?

I'm not sure, but I would try a few things.
Check if your system light is still on?
Check if you can ping your system from another computer, if available. You should find the IP address of your computer before it blanks-out on you.
Is the bottom very hot? Try turning on its side when it's running. Maybe it's overheating? This is just a guess. I always run mine on its side, as the bottom gets hot.

We have an early 2008 imac and we realize it is not long for this world but we would like to get a few more months out of it until we can afford a newer one. Can we put in a larger hard drive and add some memory?

I have maintained in mc8v (Proportional factor) after this where is the out put will see for propotional factor . I have maintained in basic proportion is cube ,keyfigure,verion and calculate proportion maintained planning area, keyfiguer in other setting maintained selection profile. Can you tell me output where will see. how it will work. can u elaborate.

The keyfigure that is usually updated is APODPDANT. Find or create a view where this keyfigure is visible (that particular book must have 'manual proportion maintenance' turned on), and you can then review the results of the Prop Factor calculation by opening the planning book using that view.
Proportional factor will do nothing unless you have configured your planning area to use it for disaggregation, or you have included this Proportional Factor KF in one of your macros.
