Index Server not Displayed

Hi All,
I am working in EP6 SP 9 Patch 3 for KMC. I had my Trex working for searching docs less than 10 kb. Now i dont find my Index server in Trex monitor.In Trex Admin tool I find my index server in green status. But in Trex monitor it displays only Http server and Name server. Index server is missing and Queue server is shown without any parameters.
Can anyone help me in bring back the Index server and Queue server.

I dont have a proxy setup. The only proxy that i have is my company's proxy server. As such i haven't installed any proxy while installing EP. Is there anything i need to do with IIS server? Awaiting your reply.

HANA Index Server Not Starting

Hi,
We are using SAP HANA Rev 48 on AWS. HANA Server got crashes and Index server is not starting. Looking at Crash Logs (Attached), seems HANA Memory Usage is close to Allocated Memory.
How can we resolve this. We may be fine to unload tables or delete some of the data to make the system up and running but unable to perform actions as for these DB need to start once.
Any suggestions.

If I follow your original message correctly, you are using HANA One Rev 48. Then, if you follow https://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-59814, you will see HANA One Rev 48 was released on Feb-7-2013 which came with 1 year license. So, your HANA license key delivered via HANA One Rev 48 must have expired now.
There were multiple messages, blogs posted requesting existing HANA One customers to migrate to HANA One Rev 52.1. Here is one such blog:http://www.saphana.com/community/blogs/blog/2013/09/26/sap-hana-one-migration-via-data-backup-and-recovery. The blog says -
"SAP released HANA One Rev 38, HANA One Rev 48 and HANA Rev 52 prior to the releasing HANA One Rev 52.1. HANA One Rev 52.1 has self-service upgrade capability via Addon Manager [blog]. Customers using HANA One Rev 52.1 can continuously upgrade to the latest HANA version as a self-service option and can also extend 1 year license key at its expiry or install a valid license key, if needed. However, customers using HANA One prior to HANA One Re 52.1, cannot upgrade HANA nor can extend license key. This blog provides a step by step procedure to migrate older releases of HANA One to the latest HANA One to take advantage of new Addon feature in HANA One Rev 52.1."
It appears you haven't upgraded your HANA version from Rev 48. I believe HANA One Rev 52.1 supports HANA Rev 72 as I write now.
As a good practice for any database, you should take periodic backup to meet your business requirements. I see you don't have backup.
If this is extremely urgent to recover your system, you may contact HANA One team at [email protected] with valid business justification why you may need a temporary license to recover your system and then you can migrate to the latest HANA version delivered via HANA One.

Index style not displaying the chosen option after publishing

Hi Folks,
I have been adding new albums to one of my web pages and had chosen the Black ringbinder Index style for the albums. After a recent publishing upgrade and visiting my site I noticed that all the albums had framework boxes with ? marks all around and did not display the chosen index style.
I went back to iWeb and chose a Brown sort of "Wedding Album" style and re-published. Everything was OK so once again back to iWeb and set them all to the Black ringbinder Index style and re-publushed.
Same problem with ? marks all around each album.
Any ideas for fixing?

Hi there
The simplest way to specify a relative path is to avoid any browsing you may do to find whatever file you are linking to and quite simply type the file name into the dialog. Once you have done this, you simply ensure that the file is present alongside the Captivate movie so that during playback it can find the file.
I think where most folks make a mistake is when they use the dialog to browse to and choose the file they are linking to. When you do that, Captivate dutifully inserts the path leading to the file on your own hard drive. This means that the file would need to be stored the the exact location using the same drive letter on the end user's PC for things to work in the end.

RH11: Glossary and Index do not display in generated output

I am having such a tough time with RoboHelp. My current issue is the glossary and index not appearing in the generated output. They used to. However, yesterday I thought I should go in and clean out all the junk in my project, i.e. I had about 5 glossaries and 5 indexes because I was testing things out. I made sure I didn't delete the populated glossary and index, but by the end of the day, they were both gone. So, I located these again from a backup and imported them back into my current project. Everything is there...all my terms and definitions, the index and the links...blah blah. NOTE: Everything is there, but I was required to block it out due to privacy issues.
However, this is how it now displays when I generate: Why won't this populate?

I'm using IE 10, Version 10. And everything was working fine until I started deleting the extra glossaries and indexes I had in my project. I have been generating locally, then when I get to a point where I'm satisfied with my changes, I generate to the server. I wasn't having a problem with this until I deleted those files. Although I have imported the glossary and index back into the project, still nothing. Now, even if I pull up an older version of this same project, the glossary and index are now gone from that too. I'm assuming that everything must be linked, but I can't figure out what I'm missing. Generating to Chrome has the same issues. I had one of my developers look at it yesterday, and he thinks there is some file missing somewhere that RH11 needs to generate the glossary and index. What file would I be missing? The .glo and the HHK files are in the project. I really need to upload this for the client, so any help you can give me is much appreciated.
I read on one of the forums that I should have this ticked in the Optimization Settings for Responsive HTML: "Limit the scope of project styles only to topic contents". I did that and it caused all kinds of other issues.
On Monday I updated to RH 11.0.1 - would there be an issue with that? Is it a dll issue?

Index tab not displaying in RoboHelp HTML

I'm using Robohelp HTML version 8.
When viewing a topic properties, the General and Advanced tabs are displayed, but I haven't found how to display the Index tab in this version.
Is this option not available in version 8?

Hi Cecil27 and welcome to the RH community.
Are you only seeing those two tabs? You should be seeing others as well (e.g. Status, File, See Also). Also where is your project located? If it is on a network drive, move it to a local drive and see if the problem still occurs.

Access server not displaying ROMMON mode target device

Hi All,
I'm encountering a curious problem (or I'm overlooking something).
I'm configuring a console server for configuring remote devices. This is working well except for the fact that if a target device is in ROMMON mode, the console server refuses to displays the target device console. It does open the connection but the ROMMON prompt is not shown on the console server . This is essential for this device as we will need to use it to reset passwords remotely and thus need to be able to access ROMMON mode from the console server.
Parts used are a 2951 router and a HWIC-8A serial card. Does anyone has some ideas?

Second BizTalk server not displaying

Recently setup a SCOM 2012 server and deployed the agent to two BizTalk 2013 servers, one designated as our development environment and the other our QA environment. Agents install without issue, indicate that they have received and successfully logged in
using the designated RunAs account, and receive the latest configuration file from the management server. I have enabled the two BizTalk servers to act as proxies in the Operations Manager console.
I have found other message threads indicating that by default my SCOM system will only reflect information from the first BizTalk system discovered and that I need to configure an override to enable monitoring of my second server. In one of the threads (Scom
2007 not discovering Biztalk 2010 Biztalk MP Documentation Question) it actually provides the exact steps I need to create the override so that there is no confusion on my part.
I followed these steps to create the override and then something strange happened. The second server did not appear in the Monitoring window, and now the first server's information no longer displays.
What went wrong? And better, more important question, is how do I correct the situation to get both BizTalk servers to display and be monitored?

Hi Steve,
Since you are running SCOM 2012 to monitor BizTalk 2013 servers, please change those overrides back. If SCOM discover two BizTalk 2013 servers, it will collect and reflect the information on both servers. You just need to follow the MP guide.

Blog server not displaying OD user blogs after restart after 10.5.7 update

I've just applied the 10.5.7 update and after reboot the blog/wiki service shows blogs for local user accounts, but not for accounts from the Open Directory (not allowed message). However all accounts are accessible if I stop and start the wiki manually by the folowing caommand in terminal:
sudo serveradmin stop teams
sudo serveradmin start teams
Is anyone else having this problem? If so, any idea how to get a fix in place?

Index.html not displaying when previewing in IE browser

DW CS4 TRIAL VERSION
I created a template including header, footer, left side bar.
I typed in the main content and it looks fine. When I preview in IE7 the text in the header, footer and left side bar display correctly. However the text in the main content looks like the right margin has been moved to the left. I changed justification and cut and pasted the text back and that didn't work either. Please see attached page.

I figured it out. Is was a result of a jpeg file I had inserted into the header. I noticed the image was overlaying the editable region and first reduced the size, but that didn't work. When I deleted it totall from the header the text in the main content area displayed correctly. Hum?

FF not displaying page when URL is on a local test server

I have a WAMP test server on my Win laptop.
If I type in a url of an existing file on the test server using c://localhost/testserver/index.htm or c://wamp/www/testserver/index.htm, FF displays a blank page (with no source code). If I use a file name in the url (file:///c://.....) or double click the file on the test server, I get good code.
I'm testing with an html file (vs. a php file) just to take the php code out as a variable.
FF displays web pages on www just fine.

the easiest way to deal with security issues is to avoid them. if all files are on the same server, use relative urls.
otherwise, you may have to deal with security issues. whether you do or not, and if you do, how you deal with them, depends on what you're trying to do.
you may be able to use System properties but you may need cross-domain security files.

You have 2 root paths in your URL code. I think this is how your file structure looks like on your local computer. However, on a remote server, ../ by itself means you're pointing to the root folder of your website. Your URL linkage should be corrected based on the relativity and your background will work without a problem.

The left navigation pane (index tree) is not displaying in last Google Chrome version (Version 28.0

I'm publishing my RoboHelp 9 projects in IIS (Windows Server) and the index tree is gone if I open them in Chrome version 28.0.1500.72 m
If I apply the fix (WebHelp TOC does not display using Google's Chrome Browser) suggested here http://www.grainge.org/pages/snippets/snippets.htm#browsers
it looks like it fixes the problem for European languages but it breaks the search functionality for Asian languages.

The fix does say it is only for Rh7.
Could it be like Item 6 at http://www.grainge.org/pages/snippets/snippets.htm#webhelp. You haven't said if the problem is only with Chrome.
Try publishing from the sample projects. That will identify whether it is a general or project issue.

RoboHelp Server 7 Projects Not Displaying

After installing a trial version of RoboHelp Server 7 and
publishing a WebHelpPro help system to RHS7server, the project does
not display in the Project pane of RHS7. Does anyone have any idea

Hi, ouque and welcome to the forum.
Just to clarify your setup. When you say "Project pane" are
you referring to the Configuration Manager on the server itself.
Or, are you referring to something you are seeing from the RoboHelp
authoring client app's Server Administration pane?
If you have access to the actual server desktop and view the
Configuration Manager, sometimes on a new installation, you can do
a "refresh" and the project will show up.
A few more questions:
Have you tried accessing the website and does the project
come up in the web browser?
On what kind of web server did you install RHS7? Windows
2003, etc.?
Is Microsoft Indexing Services turned on?
Apparently you were able to successfully publish your project
to the server so there is "communication" between your desktop and
the server I gather.

Spry Vertical Menu does not display properly when uploaded to server.

I am using Dreamweaver CS5 Version 11.0 Build 4909 on Windows XP. The website I am working on is displaying the ordered list incorrectly. The drop down submenus are not lined up underneath each other.
So I did a basic one and uploaded it to the server and had the same outcome. Locally it looks fine but uploaded to the hosting server not fine. Below is the code from the document called deleteme.html. I am new to all this so I apologize if this seems basic. Thanks for your help in advanced.

Hello all,
Thanks to everyone who replied to my post. I have it working now but I have other issues that I will post separately.
Here was my thought process and you can tell me if I am right or wrong. I was working with multiple pages that I was using Spry. I had only one folder set that all the Spry Assets were being saved into. My thinking was that they were getting over written. So I deleted the folder and re-built the page. When I deleted Spry Assets folder it showed me I had 6 pages linked to the Spry Assets folder. I also deleted my Spry Assets folder on my hosting server....thought I would really start from scratch. When I went to upload the files I created a SpryAssets folder and what I realized I had originally put a space between the y and a of the folder name. So I am not sure if the elements in the Spry Assets folder were getting over written or it was because I had a space in the folder name. Thanks again, Mike

Crystal Report not displaying in production server

I am using crystal report with ASP.Net web application which is working fine on client machine, client machine configuration is: •Windows 7 64bit •Visual studio 2012 •.Net framework 4.5 •SAP Crystal Reports, version 13.0.2000.0 I need to deploy it on Windows Server 2008 machine; however, when I deploy web application on this machine Crystal Report opens when do not display data. Kindly help to get around with this issue. Thank you in advance
