Also log file is not created for the import

Any idea why either sql or log file is not created.
PS: import data is successfull and I see the log in nohup file.

This is an operating system related issue not an issue having anything to do with the Oracle database.
Thus this forum is not the right place to ask t he question.
My recommendation would be, especially since we have no information about either your O/S or shell, that you take this up with your *NIX system admin.

You can try resetting your iPad and iPhone by simultaneously pressing and holding the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons until you see the Apple Logo. This can take up to 15 seconds so be patient and don't release the buttons until the logo appears.
Try again to see if the problem persists.

Room Creation fails with Exception

We have created a custom room template by modifying sap_project_template_2 following the how to guide on creating room templates.
we created a separate repository manager in which we have to store the room contents such as documents. We created a extension store also for this purpose.
The room template validation failed with the following message

I couldnt find any logs for this particular error.
After this, I tried to create a room based on this template.

Even though the room was not created , the required folder structure is created in the specified repository.

this problem appears to be an issue with the server, rather than with the specific template I created.I tried duplicating an existing template. Even that template gives the same error during validation.
Is there any other services I have to activate or start before doing this validation?

Earlier I had some issues with NLS settings in relation to Spatial, but in this particular case setting the NLS_LANG for AMERICAN_AMERICA does not help. I found this comment http://www.orafaq.com/forum/t/127312/2/ but would not like to hack around with MDSYS table content. Any help is highly appreciated.

2 . .The link you posted suggests a parsing problem since in Hungarian (23700), the decimal seperator is a comma (not a period). Accordingly, I believe the edit to mdsys.sdo_cs_srs.WKTEXT would be:

so I can test webservices . This is what i have done
WLS Zip Distribution for Oracle WebLogic Server 12.1.1.0 - downloaded & installed.
Followed the steps in README.
- extract contents of tar, setup home, run installation-configuration script, setup wls environment
Step 5:
Create a new WLS domain and start WLS. It is recommended that you create domains outside the MW_HOME.

the binaries available for download are all packaged with 32bit JVM. Please have a look at the link below
WebLogic Server 12c (12.1.1), WebLogic Server 11g (10.3.6) and Previous Releases
It also has binaries for linux available. I am quoting from the site verbatim for your reference:
The following provides links to WebLogic Server 12.1.1 installers with 32-bit JVMs for Windows and
Linux, the generic installer that can be used on any supported platform, and the zip distribution. The
generic installer and the zip distribution do not include a JVM/JDK. For instructions on using the
generic installer, see this document.
In case you want to use your own latest version of JDK which can be a 32/64 bit version, you need to use the generic installer.
The error which you are getting is due to permissions. Make sure you have a dedicated user for installing weblogic and the necessary permissions are granted to the user(linux) to the installation directories. May be the script is trying to install java at a particular location on your machine and failing. Hence the above error is displayed.
Please have a look at the docs, you will find steps for weblogic installation on linux.

VMM 2012 R2 Template creation fails with sysprep error via the gui, but works in powershell?

I'm in the process of trying to convert an existing gen1 VM (Win Server 2012 R2) to a VM template using VMM 2012 R2 with rollup 1. The creation keeps failing with the following error :-

I've checked that the local administrator account for the machine being converted to a template and it is blank as expected and in an attempt to troubleshoot I've output the template creation script via the VMM GUI and executed the commands in order which appears
to have resolved the problem, well the template finishes creation, i'm yet to deploy a machine via it?

Now the only fields that weren't populated when I ran through the gui were FullName and Organization? Before I changed the script these two fields were just set to ""? Is that what has potentially caused the issue are they both required fields?

Your not the only one who can reproduce this. Did you ever find out what it was? I saw your post and tried your same work-around and it also worked for me via Powershell.

SCCM 2012 R2 CU2 all latest patches.
I attempted to create a task sequence media and I get the error in the screenshot below. I have deleted and recreated the operating system,boot image, driver pack and task sequence. The usb media is 16GB and the task sequence size is 3004MB.
I only see the error in CreateTSMedia.log as below. How do you fix this?

Issues with styles: any help gratefully received!

Hi all!
I made the [perhaps reckless!] decision to use Pages as my primary word processing software for my PhD. I found a great bibliographic editor [Sente], and liked the look and feel of Pages.
Now, 6 months, and about 10,000 words in, I am still broadly happy with my decision: apart from one thing that drives me mad! Any help would be appreciated.
Say I copy text, for example, from the main body to a footnote. The source style is retained. No problem. So, I highlight the text and then click on one of the stlyes in my style draw. In this example, the "footnote" style I have defined. Now.... it just doesnt seem to do this operation smoothly. In this case..... it never applies the font size of the style I choose to change it to. Its driving me nuts! And when I copy text from another source into the main body, and then highlight and select a style from the draw to change... it seems to want to keep the source file, or change it to helvetica, and ignore my styles.
This is really driving me mad, and I am thinking I should transfer all my documents to Word 2008 [which I own], but I really like Pages, and dont want to have to do this if at all possible.
Any suggestions?

Repository Creation fails with Time Out Error

Hi
I am trying a test setup of OVM3.1.1-305. I am using OpenFiler for iSCSI disks and have created 20GB iSCSI disk for Pool FileSystem and another 260GB iSCSI disk for Data Repository. The server pool gets created fine with the Pool FS and HA and Cluster options enabled. But while exposing the iSCSI disk for data store the job times out. Details of the error message is as below, please help!

check your messages log and etc on the VM server. The job log doesn't go into enough detail to tell what's causing the issue. It did fail cleanup. Meaning.... that your ocfs2 filesystem is probably orphaned. You have have to clear the iSCSI LUN before trying again.

Thanks for the solution its solved the earlier problem but now i got a new one. According to the error Failed to start ping port listener of:[Errno 98] Address already in use" This the only address on the lan .... what can be causing this issue ?

Working with OracleParameters - Any Help?

Hi,
I created a stored procedure with 3 IN parameters(out of 2 are single value,3rd one is pl/sql table) and 1 OUT Parameter (of PLSQL Table Return type).
I want take the SP results in VB.NET. i used plsql associative arrays, but i am getting error as
'OracleParameter.Value is Invalid.'
How to set parameter.size for the Output value.. I don't know exactly how many rows will be retrieved.
How to use oracleparametercollection.
How to return cursors from the plsql table.( gone through the asktom article. but i am unable to follow it. getting error as expression is of wrong type.)

Safari keeps redirecting almost every page to other pages ... going crazy with this any help ??

Since 6 months or more ... Safari keeps having a life off its own ...
I constantly have to go back 1 or 2 pages to get where I want ...
it not even after a google search or so ...
I go to a site and hop ... "mackleener" shows up "groupon" is there all the time ...
or the page turns grey saying ... no page found ... with a long link starting with groupiesearch blabla ..
it starting to be sooooo enoying that I want to throw out Safari ... but Im so used to this browser now that I actiually dont want to change..
All my pages info stuff is build in Safari for years so I dont want to restart with Firefox from zero ...
any help on this matter would be a timesaver ...

Ok... use Open DNS to avoid redirects.
Use OpenDNS for better speed and more security and it's free.
Open System Preferences / Preferences then select the Network tab. Click the Advanced tab then click the DNS tab.
Enter these numbers exactly as you see them here.

Then click OK.
