  • Country Specific Service

We have setup a new custom service and assigned to only country group 10 - US in the Define Country specific Services Node.
However, when we login as a PERNR in a non-us country group, he is able to view this service and launch the WDA application.
Are there additional setting to restict a service to specific country groups?

    Hi,
    Check following ...................
You define country-specific services. When an employee starts a service, the system determines the employee's country grouping and checks if there is a country-specific service definition in the V_T7XSSSERSRVCG and V_T7XSSSERSRVCGC views.
If there is a country-specific service definition, the system uses this definition.
If there is no country-specific service definition, the system uses the general service definition in the V_T7XSSSERSRV and V_T7XSSSERSRVC views. If the general service definition does not contain a resource object, the system does not display the service (see example 2).
This enables you to define country-specific variations of services for certain countries while using a general service definition for all other countries.
    Activities
    Examples
    Example 1
Your company has employees in seven different countries:
    Germany (01)
    Austria (02)
    Switzerland (03)
    Canada (07)
    USA (10)
(Number in brackets = country grouping)
The service for displaying a salary statement is the same for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. For Canada and the USA, you need services with additional content.
You define a general service for displaying the salary statement in the V_T7XSSSERSRV and V_T7XSSSERSRVC views.
You define two additional services for the country groupings 07 and 10 in the V_T7XSSSERSRVCG and V_T7XSSSERSRVCGC views.
When an employee from Germany, Austria or Switzerland starts the service for displaying salary statements, the system uses the service definition in the V_T7XSSSERSRV and V_T7XSSSERSRVC views.
When an employee from Canada or the USA starts the service for displaying salary statements, the system uses the service definition in the V_T7XSSSERSRVCG and V_T7XSSSERSRVCGC views.
    Example 2
Your company has employees in two different countries:
    Germany (01)
    Switzerland (03)
(Number in brackets = country grouping)
There is a service that is only relevant for employees from Switzerland.
You define a general service without a resource object in the V_T7XSSSERSRV and V_T7XSSSERSRVC views.
You define a country-specific service with a resource object for country grouping 03 in the V_T7XSSSERSRVCG and V_T7XSSSERSRVCGC views
This service is only displayed for employees in Switzerland.

  • Payslip does not appear on the Self Service Page

    Hi all ,
I would like the system to display the Payslip of an employee on his self-service page so that when the user logs in he or she can view his/her Payslip.
When i click on the Function Payslip it says ERROR on Page.
I have Run International HRMS Global. And as the organisation is in Africa it doesn't have any specific localisation.
So can anyone assist me on how can i customize the JSP page so that the Payslip appears on the Self-Service page of an employee.
    Thanking you in advance,

  • ESS Personal information country specific services

    Dear Guru's,
We have set up the following country specific services (Dutch = molga 05)  for the Personal Information Workset in ESS:
    - Adresses
    - Bank relations
    - Personal Information
While testing these services for two persons the following situatin occurs:
    - Person A: has parameter MOL 05 set in transaction SU01 and uses ESS portal role.
    - Person B: has parameter MOL 05 set in transaction SU01 and also uses ESS portal role.
Als the country specific services are defined to the country speficif resources.
While trying to change the record in infotype 2, 6 and 9 for Person A using ESS all the procedures are succesfull.
While trying to change the record in infotype 2, 6 and 9 based on the date of today for Person B the systeem gives back the following error:
    "record 00001101      0009        0        with date x has group value "" instead of "05".
(pernr) (infotype)  (sub)                  (date previous record)               (MOLGA)
This seems to be strange because both users have exactly the same profile in ECC and Portal.
Also the application seems te have a problem with the limitation of the previous record since the system says that that record has group value " "  instead of "05"
Since this is the last problem we face in ESS we could need some help.
    Kind regards

    Hi,
This issue is because of data inconsistency. In se38, the report RPUFIXDS should be run to fix this.
This can be run for a single personnel number or a range of personnel numbers.
    Thanks,

  • Missing IMG entry - "Reuse country specific services" for iviews

    Hi all,
We have experienced a problem related with an IMG activity which we couldnu2019t found:
    u201CReuse country specific servicesu201D.
We need this for iviews to be used for different country grouping (in our case we have to use 99).
We know that we need to configure table T7XSSREUSEUISN but for some reasons it is not in the directoryu2026.
    Any suggestions or work around?
    Any inputs are much appreciated.
By the way our ECC is 5.0 and EP is 7.0.

  • Facts not appearing in the decision service

    Hello,
I have created a simple bpel workflow and the first node is a desision service node. I tried all the steps specified in the user manual and the soa_suite samples, But whatever I try the facts are not appearing at all in the UI. I am able to see my rulesets correctly, when I select the rule set no facts appear in the jdeveloper UI. My jdeveloper version is 10.1.3.3.0.
One of my collegue mentioned that there is a blog(owned by Oracle employee) which has detailed steps on how to resolve this issue. I tried to search the forum but couldnt find the post, Can someone please direct me to the blog, or let me know how to resolve this issue?.
I tried creating different ruleset with different fact types (XML, JAVA). Jdeveloper is unable to find facts for any of these rulesets.
Your help will be greatly appreciated, Since this issue is blocking my POC demo :(.
    Thanks
    Rajesh
P.S: I am reposting this message here, as per the response I received for this post on jdev forum.

    Hi,
Can you send the XSD for your XML fact types together with
the rule repository to ralf DOT mueller AT oracle DOT com
If the fact types don't show up then either
    1. There are no XML fact types in the data model of the rule dictionary
    2. There are XML schema elements missing for your fact type
(although the rule modeling is done on the complexType level, for the exchange
of data between BPEL PM and the rule engine we require XML schema elements)

  • Statistical Condition not appearing in Rebate Specific Pricing procedure

    Hi,
We had recently implemented Rebate Billing in SAP and for the credit notes I had created a new pricing procedure and marked it as 'Special PP' for rebate at Pricing procedure level.
I am calculating Discount and providing Tax in Rebate Credit Memo.
My India Tax JIVC and JIVP are based on some statistical conditions ZATS and ZSEB, although I am getting the Tax Condition in the document but for the statistical condition, it says "Condition record exists, but has not been set".
Kindly suggest what is that I am missing.
    Regards,
    Naveen

Pls check the validity of your condition type as per the pricing date of the conditon type. The condition record should be valid on the pricing date of the c.type.
    This should solve your problem.

    A coworker of Ned's here ...
We are not reusing any country specific scenarios.  We only have the US.    I did take a look at note 936179, but we are not reusing any country specific services so I don't know if it applies.
Is there somewhere that you specify a country for an employee for ESS?
    Thanks.

  • MSS - Country Specific

    Hi All,
We are running standard MSS with custom Java Webdynpro forms launched from the PCR menu integrated by ISR Scenario.
Some of our forms are country-specific (to the reporting employee).
Ie. Manager is in Slovakia, reporting Employee is in India.
The scenario picks up the Manager's molga, so displays the Slovakian form, not the Indian form.
We thinkwe know how to fix this, but
Question: Does SAP deliver any MSS forms that are country-specific in any Business Package? Eg Trasfer FOR COUNTRY XX
    Answer: Can't find any.
    Regards,
    Jimmy.

country specific services exist for country speciic infotypes and are based on the ecc rather than the portal.
so the answer to your question is no. there are no forms (as of ehp4) which are country specific.
Then, the molga of the portal user is decided in the back-end-ecc, and not in the portal, at least not in mss bit of portal, ess yes there are a few services specific to various countries but mss nope.

  • Country/Structure do not match application country   - on ESS page, any clue

I am getting this error message from the ESS page.
I had changed mapped my id / pernr to a new different country and reverted, but again getting this message.
I used to map my id with any of the PERNR specific to a country for testing purposes.
    any clues ?

When you are mapping your user id with different pernr (let say India) then in portal try with ess india sceanario. Incase mapping is changed to GB then you can run GB ess scenario.
    If you are following above mechanism and still gettig error then there may be two possible causes;
    a) Country for which you are trying to run ess scenario in portal is not delivered in ESS sandard delivery.
    In that case follow following;
    spro->personnel management->employee self service->service specific settings->own data->reuse country specific applications.
    Also go through SAP notes;
Note 936179  Reuse of country specific Applications.
Note 953852  Best Fits selection for re-using country specific service
    b) Incorrect Viekn is maintained for pernr. Check through se11 -> pa0003 -> viekn field for selected pernr .
It should be same as molga. for e.g., 1 for german employee, 40 for indian employee and 10 for US employee.
    Regards
    Pooja
