Can any one help me with the India specific standard ESS and MSS services available.

Generally you will find the list of deployed services in Web dynpro Console...
From there you can find what all services have been deployed for India...
List will be something like below...

this is regarding <b>personal information</b> role in ESS in EP. for configuring in the back end r/3 system , i go to SAP reference IMG..
when i go to "<b>Define Country-Specific Services (Add Entries)"</b> , i get a list of different country services..however, there is no country grouping defined for "India"...because of which i am unable to get the services...
all my settings are configured according to grouping "40" whixh is india...
can u suggest what i can do to add india in the list of countries?

How can i retrieve Items and Dates from an specific Service Order in a Report?

Hi Partners,
i was debbuging a lot without a good solution,
My team develop a new report (SE38 Report) to list on the screen an specific Service Order (BTQSrvOrd) with their corresponding Items & Dates (BTHeaderDates)
Here is my code (Attached on Message), i reach the data of the service order but i need to get the children information for Items & Dates but i saw thar those 2 types are in a 4 lower level and it's a little difficult to access througt code.

How to read all open documents containing a specific service team (partner)

for my custom report i´m looking for a function module to read all service requests which are not closed and created for a specific service team. the service team is a partner function in the service request.
Could one of you experts please recommend a function module or example report?

Hi Manfred,
You can use FM CRM_SERVICE_PORTAL_SEARCH to search for Service Requests based upon various input parameters including Partner Number and Partner Function.

Problem with specific service

Not sure where to post this but here's the issue I am seeing:
I use iLok, a security/license dongle for (mainly) audio based applications. It worked fine previously in W10TP but since 10041 it stopped working. I noticed the service it runs is not starting, it tries to start every now and then when I watch
it, but it then stops again and there is no way to start it manually.
I obviously also reported this to PACE who sell the product and manage the service but I though I'd ask here as well. Does anyone know what changed in 10041 that might break a specific service?
The USB dongle itself does not have to be plugged in for the service to work and while I run TP on my main PC, I tested this in a VM where it's fine until 10041 installs.

According to your description, it should a compatibility issue with the latest preview build. To further confirm this issue, I recommend you contact the vender of the product. As this is not the final released version, so my suggestion is waiting for
updates form both MSFT and PACE patiently.

hi i bought a iphone 4s recently and is having vodafone as service provider. my iphone is not recongising or detecting any 3G signal. Did your problem got solved by any chance?

ESS Personal information country specific services

Dear Guru's,
We have set up the following country specific services (Dutch = molga 05) for the Personal Information Workset in ESS:
- Adresses
- Bank relations
- Personal Information
While testing these services for two persons the following situatin occurs:
- Person A: has parameter MOL 05 set in transaction SU01 and uses ESS portal role.
- Person B: has parameter MOL 05 set in transaction SU01 and also uses ESS portal role.
Als the country specific services are defined to the country speficif resources.
While trying to change the record in infotype 2, 6 and 9 for Person A using ESS all the procedures are succesfull.
While trying to change the record in infotype 2, 6 and 9 based on the date of today for Person B the systeem gives back the following error:
"record 00001101 0009 0 with date x has group value "" instead of "05".
(pernr) (infotype) (sub) (date previous record) (MOLGA)
This seems to be strange because both users have exactly the same profile in ECC and Portal.
Also the application seems te have a problem with the limitation of the previous record since the system says that that record has group value " " instead of "05"
Since this is the last problem we face in ESS we could need some help.

This issue is because of data inconsistency. In se38, the report RPUFIXDS should be run to fix this.
This can be run for a single personnel number or a range of personnel numbers.

SCCM 2012 R2 bitlocker reporting via "Computers running a specific service"

I have searched the web for how to check how many clients have bitlocker enabled, via SCCM 2012 R2. All suggestions I find are SQL commands.
I have not found anyone who suggest using the report Operating System -> Services - Computers running a specific service -> Bitlocker Drive encryption service
Why is that? Is this report not trustworthy?

The service is used for prompting user's actions or storing encrypted information. It does not mean BitLocker is enabled when the service is running or not. You can start it manually. I suggest you refer to the blog below to utilize DCM to check if the Bitlocker
is enabled.

Country Specific Service

We have setup a new custom service and assigned to only country group 10 - US in the Define Country specific Services Node.
However, when we login as a PERNR in a non-us country group, he is able to view this service and launch the WDA application.
Are there additional setting to restict a service to specific country groups?

You define country-specific services. When an employee starts a service, the system determines the employee's country grouping and checks if there is a country-specific service definition in the V_T7XSSSERSRVCG and V_T7XSSSERSRVCGC views.
If there is a country-specific service definition, the system uses this definition.
If there is no country-specific service definition, the system uses the general service definition in the V_T7XSSSERSRV and V_T7XSSSERSRVC views. If the general service definition does not contain a resource object, the system does not display the service (see example 2).
This enables you to define country-specific variations of services for certain countries while using a general service definition for all other countries.

Your company has employees in seven different countries:
Germany (01)
Austria (02)
Switzerland (03)
Canada (07)
USA (10)
(Number in brackets = country grouping)
The service for displaying a salary statement is the same for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. For Canada and the USA, you need services with additional content.

This service is only displayed for employees in Switzerland.

How do I "Block Downloads/Use of Specific Services"

Here it says it's possible to block downloads or use of specific services through My Verizon.

I can see where you're coming from regarding the confusing steps in the link you provided. To view available blocks, you can sign into My Verizon as the account holder. Underneath Plan, choose Change Features, select the line you want to modify the features on, press Next, at the top, click on View all features and services, choose the blocks you need and press next. Review the summary before pressing submit.
If you can't find the options that you need, you can DM me directly (representatives have additional blocks available that may not be provisioned online). You can also make a quick call to customer service at 800-922-0204. Let me know if that answers your question.

PBR to select a specific service provider

I want to use PBR with route map to match some traffic coming from different vlans to go to a specific service provider I have vlan 10 and vlan 20 , both vlan default gateway are on the core switch I am thinking of configuring a route map to match source vlan 10 and set ip next hop to be the inside interface for the router to provider A Then i need to configure a PBR under interface but i am confused about which interface i have to apply the route map , is it the vlan interface on the core switch ? Also i need to know who can i test it

How to use PPPLib to create a PPP connection using specific service?

I wanna use a specific service in the System Preference to create a PPP connection by PPPLib. I saw PPPConnect(int ref, uint8t *serviceid) second parameter is serviceid, but i do not know how to assign this value, because even serviceid is NULL the whole work is OK.
Does anyone knows how to specific a service?

Iphone 3 from usa to india no service message, please help!

Hello apple community.
I recently got an unlocked iphone 3 from my sister in the USA. I brought it to India thinking that inserting a local SIM it would work. Alas this is not the case. After searching extensively online through blogs, etc. I found some advice and tried backing it up with itunes, turning the phone on and off, and trying again but the message I"m getting is 'no service'. I'm using an AIRTEL SIM which works on a friends phone.
Do I need and AIRCEL SIM to be compatible with a MAC?
Do I need to complete any other process?
Can anyone help?

I have bought iphone 4 in US, now in India, Apple service centre in India is not providing service as it is purchased in USA

I have bought Iphone 4 from apple store at Santa clara CA. However now I am in India. My phone has developed problem and getting switched off at randomly though it is fully charged. The authorised apple service centre is not providing me service as the it is bought in USA. Can anybody help

That is correct - there is no international warranty.
Either send it to someone you trust in the US or fly back and have it looked at.
