Individual file upload against each list field

Hi, We are currently developing a form internally for our projects, in this regard there are multiple attachments that needs to be uploaded for each specific form.
Hence would like to know how to create an attachment next to an individual list itself rather than showing the attachments at the bottom.
For E.g.
List Field 1 -- Attachment 1, 2
List Field 2 -- Attachment 3
List Field 3 -- Attachment, 4

Cmd+v doesn't paste in the file upload dialogue's search field in Safari

In Safari 4.0.4 on OS X 10.6.2, cmd+v doesn't paste in the file upload dialogue's search field in Safari. It just makes an audio beep to indicate an error.
Using a sample file uploader:
1.) Visit http://upload.youtube.com/myvideosupload
2.) Click the "Upload Video" button.
3.) Select file(s) to upload to s.ytimg.com
4.) Click on the search text field
*5.) Cmd+V to paste text. Nothing happens.*
However, if you right-click, "Paste" is not grayed out, and you can paste normally.
This is for version 4.0.4, but this behavior has been present for as long as I can remember using Safari.
Can anyone confirm this bug?

From the Safari Menu Bar click Safari/Report Bugs to Apple.

How to delete an individual file from the'Recents' list on an Android tablet? Not the original file in the documents library.

I have a samsung note 8 tablet. I used to be able to delete files from the recents list, but don't know how to do it in the newest version.

I don't think you can remove just one file from this list.

Flat file upload against Cost Center Hierarchy nodes

we would like to upload flat files into BIIP which need to contain values for cost center hierarchy nodes.
Is there a way to add the cost center hierarchy node value into a flat file and upload it inot BIIP?

you can post the value agaist any node as long as it is a postable node (not a text node).

Saving layers as individual files all at once

Since I am creating files to use in PrEl I need multiple layers to become multiple tracks. Is there any way to simply save all the layers of my files as individual files without unhiding each layer and then saving each file one by one.

Have you also asked on the PremEl forum? I do not believe that PSE has any means of doing this - except in this special context, I cannot imagine why anyone would want to. I was wondering if PremEl has an import facility to deal with it for you.

ATP qty against each Receipt

Dear Gurus
If I have two Purchase Order due on the same date , SAP does not show the individual ATP qty against each PO, but it shows the the accumulated qty resulting from both the PO after any deduction in the ***. ATP qty.
Example
01.07.2008 PO 450000023          60qty
01.07.2008 PO 450000026          40qty
02.07.2008 Sales order 1569        50 qty
My query is against PO 450000023 ATP qty should be 10 and against 45000026 , ATP qty should be 50. However SAP shows 50 against each of those POs.
How can I achieve this. Checking group setting is Individual records.
Or Is this standard functionality.

I think there's been some confusion here because it is possible to add attachments to individual receipts in SAP standard (you don't need OpenText).
It is relatively new functionality because you'll need to be on EHP6 or higher and have activated business function FIN_TRAVEL_4, see details at this link:

Script to search all files in specified folder for multiple string text values listed in a source file and output each match to one single results txt file

I have been searching high and low for this one. I have a vbscript that can successfully perform the function if one file is listed. It does a Wscript.echo on the results and if I run this via command using cscript, I can output to a text file
that way. However, I cannot seem to get it to work properly if I want it to search ALL the files in the folder. At one point, I was able to have it create the output file and appear as if it worked, but it never showed any results when the script
was executed and folder was scanned. So I am going back to the drawing board and starting from the beginning.
I also have a txt file that contains the list of string text entries I would like it to search for. Just for testing, I placed 4 lines of sample text and one single matching text in various target files and nothing comes back. The current script
I use for each file has been executed with a few hundred string text lines I want it to search against to well over one thousand. It might take awhile, but it works every time. The purpose is to let this run against various log files in a folder and
let it search. There is no deleting, moving, changing of either the target folder/files to run against, nor of the file that contains the strings to search for. It is a search (read) only function, going thru the entire contents of the folder and
when done, performs the loop function and onto the next file to repeat the process until all files are searched. When completed, instead of running a cscript to execute the script and outputting the results to text, I am trying to create that as part
of the overall script. Saving yet another step for me to do.
My current script is set to append to the same results file and will echo [name of file I am searching]: No errors found. Otherwise, the
output shows the filename and the string text that matched. Because the results append to it, I can only run the script against each file separately or create individual output names. I would rather not do that if I could include it all in one.
This would also free me from babysitting it and running each file script separately upon the other's completion. I can continue with my job and come back later and view the completed report all in one. So
if I could perform this on an entire folder, then I would want the entries to include the filename, the line number that the match occurred on in that file and the string text that was matched (each occurrence). I don't want the entire line to be listed
where the error was, just the match itself.
Example: (In the event this doesn't display correctly below, each match, it's corresponding filename and line number all go together on the same line. It somehow posted the example jumbled when I listed it)

Those are just random fake examples for this post.
This allows me to perform analysis on a set of files for various projects I am doing. Later on, when the entire search is completed, I can go back to the results file and look and see what files had items I wish to follow up on. Therefore, the
line number that each match was found on will allow me to see the big picture of what was going on when the entry was logged.
I actually import the results file into a spreadsheet, where further information is stored regarding each individual text string I am using. Very useful.
If you know how I can successfully achieve this in one script, please share. I have seen plenty of posts out there where people have requested all different aspects of it, but I have yet to see it all put together in one and work successfully.

I'm sorry. I was so consumed in locating the issue that I completely overlooked posting what exactly I was needing help with. I did have one created, but I came across one that seemed more organized than what I originally created. Later
on I would learn that I had an error in log location on my original script and therefore thought it wasn't working properly. Now that I am thinking that I am pretty close to achieving what I want with this one, I am just going to stick with it.
However, I could still use help on it. I am not sure what I did not set correctly or perhaps overlooking as a typing error that my very last line of this throws an "Expected Statement" error. If I end with End, then it still gives same
results.

I then adjusted it for what I was doing.
What this does does is it searches thru log files in a directory you specify when prompted. It looks for words that are contained in another file; objFile2, and outputs the results of all matching words in each of those log files to another file: errors.log
Once all files are scanned to the end, the objects are closed and then a message is echoed letting you know (whether there errors found or not), so you know the script has been completed.
What I had hoped to achieve was an output to the errors.log (when matches were found) the file name, the line number that match was located on in that file and what was the actual string text (not the whole line) that matched. That way, I can go directly
to each instance for particular events if further analysis is needed later on.
So I could use help on what statement should I be closing this with. What event, events or error did I overlook that I keep getting prompted for that. Any help would be appreciated.

Problem in dynamically generating the file upload field

I am using netbeans 5.5 and visualwebpack for my jsf project.
i have a problem in dynamically generating the file upload field and using it.
I have a panel say "panelA" which holds file upload fields.
Depending upon the count value i generate the file upload field using following code snippet:

The page successfully shows up the file upload fields. While the user clicks the submit button, i have used following logic to perform upload:

I am getting this UploadedFile object null.

I solved the problem.
Actually i was using label property of the upload field due to which i got null pointer exception.
I removed the label property of the upload field and things worked as i wanted.

Lose functionality to upload files directly to enhanced text field InfoPath modified forms

I have a SharePoint 2013 list with enhanced rich text multiline fields. When using the default SharePoint new/edit item form, I have the option to upload images and files directly to the field.
Once I modify the form using InfoPath, I lose the functionality to upload directly to the field. Is there any way to restore this function?

According to your description, my understanding is that the function to upload image from computer was lost after customizing the list form via InfoPath Designer.
I could reproduce this issue. It is a limitation for a browser-compatible form. As a workaround, you can use Attachments control to upload image directly.
From a Microsoft article:
You can enable linked pictures for a rich text box in a browser-compatible form template. However, embedded pictures are not supported.

Update File Upload Field

Hi
I have a file upload function in a "Update Record" form. I don't need to add new entries into the DB for each upload so I set the update to entered value 1.
However on updating the record the file uploaded to the selected folder is deleted. Is it possible to update the same table field but not have the file deleted.
If I upload fileA and then update id field 1 to upload fileB I do not want to delete fileA when I update id 1

There's no other upload field type for web apps. You'll need to use the "image file type" to apply multiple file upload fields within the web app form in this case.

How to modify the field lengh of file upload

   I am facing a problem with u201Cuploadu201D filed length in BSP application.
When we upload the file in BSP page, the path displayed should be the full path (i.e. from where the file is being upload the file)
Now this field is appearing 20 char length
Now I want to increase the length of the upload field (Input field) to be 100 char so that the path is visible.
In the current application the file upload is being done through a structure (attributes)
In this structure the fields are like this

Now I need to change this attribute length from 20 to 100
For this I copied the standard class CL_HTMLB_FILEUPLOAD into ZCL_HTMLB_FILEUPLOAD.
This ZCL_HTMLB_FILEUPLOAD contains all attributes of the standard class CL_HTMLB_FILEUPLOAD
Including the one class (CLG_HTMLB_FILEUPLOAD), this is defined as an attribute (ABOVE MENTIONED?)
This class is appearing in non editable mode, so   I have copied this class into zclass (ZCLG_HTMLB_FILEUPLOAD).but still I am not able to edit the attribute called u201Csizeu201D
And also I am not bale to add the zclass in place of the ZCLG_HTMLB_FILEUPLOAD
Kindly tell me how to modify the length of the field u201Csize u201Cand also how to add the zclass in the attributes of one class (syntax)

Hi,
Class CLG_HTMLB_FILEUPLOAD is a class automatically generated when a BSP Element is created. You should not change/create such a class, unless by creating your own BSP Element.
As per your requirement, you can use the SIZE parameter of method factory:
ls_form_save-size = '100'.
CALL METHOD cl_htmlb_fileupload=>factory
EXPORTING
Id = ls_form_save-id
Size = ls_form_save-size
RECEIVING
Element = lv_fileup.

How to 'clear' file upload field in forms

In a form I am designing I need a 'clear' or 'reset' button that clears the entire form. This is easy to do, of course, but alas my form has a file upload field, and in Safari I just can't get that field to go back to it's default empty state.
is there a secret way to force file upload fields in safari to reset, or is it just impossible?
