Individual Object - Products

Hello,
I am looking for creating Individual Object in CRM, please let me know the transaction code and also how to associate it with the products.
Regards,
Sanju

Hi Sanju,
you can try this CRM_ICSS_CREATE_COMPONENT or check this FM inside u can get some ideas. We are using this FM, but it's important to know that the CRM_IBASE_SAVE which is included in the above mentioned FM can cause a memory consumption problems if you use e.g. in a mass upload. So we use it in a separate program and call this program via SUBMIT.
I hope this helped.
Kind Regards:

  • Product registration--- individual object- installed base

    HI all,
As soon as i register the products in ICSS, it creates individual objects.
1)HOw can it be automatically added to Existing ibase of customer?
    2) Or how can it be created itself automatically as Installed base.
Please  give me some valuable suggestions .
    Thanks,
    Priya

    Hi Priya,
The product registration process in ICSS is the creation of a standalone individual object. If you want to have an ibase node created please use the ibase functionality and add a node component (product or object)  to an existing ibase or create a new ibase.

  • Individual Object assigned 2 Reference Product

I want to use Individual Object with referencing Data from Products in CRM 5.0 SAPGUI.
    Help link CRM 5.0:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_crm50/helpdata/en/a9/42388d7cb5c24ba5a3701a13aa9ea4/frameset.htm
    The steps I made:
In trx COMM_HIERARCHY I added the following category:
    R3PRODSTYP
    - MAT
    -- MAT_HAWA
    <i>--- ID_REF  (added)</i>
For cat MAT_HAWA, in tab Relnship Types:
    - PRDSCPS Customer/Distribution Chain for Product
    - IOBMP S IOBMP/S
    - IOBQFRS IOBQFR/S
    - PROREFS Reference Product for Individual Object
    For cat ID_REF:
    Assigned to object family Z001
    Additional Settype            ZS0001
I have created a material Z900016 of the type MAT_HAWA,
In the Installed Base 100, I created a component Building A. Tab Product I added the created material Z900016. Tab Individual Object I added Family Z001 and Object ID z1234. After selecting the IO component I press the icon Component Detail.
I can see my additional settype ZS0001 chars but I don't see the reference data of Z900016.
    Any suggestion is appreciated,
    Kim

    Dear Raj,
Thnks for reply but the problem remains. Just to be sure:
Product Z900016 has the category MAT_HAWA. The date maintained for this category is:
    MAT_HAWA:
    - Tab CATEGORY: Product/Object Assignment Possible
    - Tab RELNSHIP TYPES: Reference Product for Indivual Object
One level down of MAT_HAWA the category ID_REF is maintained:
    - Object Family: Z001
    I create IB 415 Customer 01
    - Building A (Text)
    -- 900016 (Product)
    --- Family Z001 (object fam) + Z900016V01 (Object ID)
When I open the pop-up for Object ID you can search using 'REFERENCE PROD ID' but the system doesn't show any hits. When I enter Z900016v01 and select 'Component Detail' I see the own settype and the general settypes of the product. But the date in the general settypes are all empty.

  • Function module to get the configuration of Individual objects

    Hi all,
Is there is any std function module to get the data of individual object configuration.
In table COM_TA_R3_ID, I can able to get the PRODUCT_GUID (for material and serial number) and I dont know how to get the configuration of the product by using the PRODUCT_GUID.
Pl  through some light on this.
    Regards
    A.Sureshbabu.

    Hi,
You can get the item configuration using FM CRM_CONFIG_READ_OW.
This is used to read the product configurations for IPC calls.
Just pass the configured item guid and it will return the configuration data.
Use FM CRM_PRODUCT_I_READ_OW to get the product configurations but this FM checks whether any item has this product guid.

I have replicated Equipments from PM to Individual Objects in CRM, i am trying to get the customer warranty Start and End date updated at individual objects from equipments at Iq03,
please suggest the steps both ways possible through standard and technical.
I have created warranty products in CRM when i am trying to add warranty product manualy to the ibase at individual objects i am getting an error
Relationship type IOBWTY for source object type BUS1178 cannot be maintained
    regards
    Nikhil Chugh

    Hi Nikhil,
Though not for the exact error message but I would advise you to check the below SAP KBA:
1899474 - Relationship type &1 for source object type &2 cannot be maintained (message number COM_IL015)
Or, you may try to debug out where the error is getting raised in the manual process of warranty addition.

  • Missing of Business partner and Individual objects linkage.

    Hi ,
We are implementing CRM 7.0 service. We don't have equipments(cannot able to see it in IE03 and equipment number will be in EQUI,Since equipment view is not activated in serial number profile of material) and have serial numbers generated for the sales order line item.Hence we opted for download of serial number and serial number configuration(VC) after making all necessary config settings and Iam able to see it in webclient under INDIVIDUAL OBJECTS(NOT IBASE).Also able to search individual objects based on product ID(Material) or serial number or BP wise in webclient.
Now Iam facing the the following issue
Iam not able to search the individual objects based on BP for the old data(data created in ECC before we did related configurations in CRM).whereas Iam able to search the same old data based on product ID and Serial number, meaning BP linkage is missing for the old data.
Can anyone suggest what is missing.
    Regards
    Suresh.

Ok thanks .. waited 4 years for the Partner and Competitor to be reportable .. so what's a few more years for being able to customize the 'ADD' screen !! :)
As far as the default values ..
I want to default the 'Relationship' field to 'Customer' and the 'Reverse Relationship' field to 'Vendor'. I tried adding as default value:
    [<RelationshipRole>] = LookupValue("PARTY_REL_TYPE","Customer")
I'm probably doing something wrong in this expression, but can't seem to make it work !
    Thanks.

  • Individual objects data retrieval through function modules (FM)

    Hi Gurus,
I'd like to know if I can use Function Modules for the retieval of the following information:
    - Reference Product of an Individual Object within the component of an iBase.
    - Warranty of the Individual Object
    - Purchase date of the Individual Object
(Using the FM CRM_ORDER_READ, under the path ET_SERVICE_OS-OSSET-REFOBJECT-PRODUCT_ID, I'm able to identify the iObject, but not its reference product)
Alternatively, which is the table these information are stored in?
    Thanks in advance,
    Andrea Ricci

    HI,
You have to refer different tables for your requirement:
CDBD_IL_IBCWTY             Installed Base Components - Warranty Relationship
    CDBD_IL_PRDIB                 Individual Object-Installed Base Interlink
    CDBD_IBIB                         Installed Base Header Table.
    Hope this works.

  • Individual object settype in installed base

    Hi,
We have created many set types for individual objects. So,If I go to Individual object application I get a new tab general where all these fields displayed.
But we need those details in the installed base application itself, while clicking the corresponding individual object.
Is there any way to get it done without writing Model access class for installed base application.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Abdul Raheem .S

    Hi Abdul,
This is a new feature for CRM 5.0. To implement this in CRM 4.0 is very difficult because several components are affected. New functionality have to be implemented for the ibase access class, product (iobject) access class and for the settype generation (TA COMM_HIERARCHIE etc.).
At first the settype generation has to be modified, because if you create or change any settypes in TA COMM_HIERARCHY, several entries in the different tables of the TA CRMC_BLUEPRINT have to be generated. In CRM4.0 these entries will be generated only for the product or iobject application (both use the same access class).
Then you have to modify the product(iobject) access class: You need a method to set the product guid external and you need a method to control the display mode (if the ibase is locked, no changes at the settypes are allowed, because it is possible that someone edit them in the SAPGUI (IB52)).
At last you have to modify the access class for the ibase application to handle the product specific data. In this class you have to map the ibase component object key to the product(iobject) guid and you have to call the CHECK_ACTIVE_TABSTRIP method of the product access class before the controller with the settypes tabstrip is displayed the first time (the product tabstrip contains all entries for all settypes and with the first call the access class filters these entries ->product guid->category->settypes).
Sorry, but a simple implementation is not possible and its not recommended to modify the above mentioned transaction or access classes. In CRM 5.0 this is a standard feature in the ibase application of the pc-ui.
    Best regards,
    Oliver

  • Individual Object Creation

    Hello,
We need to create individual object (Vehicle, in our case) in the CRM system from external system data.
The individual object is very simple and contains only basic data and referenced product without any sales, tax or unit of measure data.
As far as we search, we have only found out the IDOC CRMXIF_PORDUCT_INDOBJ_SAVE01.
    1. It seems that the IDoc requires sales, tax and unit of measure data. Is it possible to create individual object without it?
Furthermore, the IDoc/FM does not contain any documentation. Is there any available documentation/example for usage?
    2. Is there any other IDoc/Function module for creation of individual object?

    Hi Nachson
In what way are you using IO's?
The BAdI's are (unusually) tied to the UI .
    Example: definition CRM_ICWC_IOBJECT.
Do you have the relevant IO cookbook? The Best Practices documentation contains a few that are very helpful for IO coding, as nearly everyone who uses them has some specific functionality to add in.
    Cheers
    Dom

  • Business partner in Fact Sheet for Individual object

    Hi Folks,
I am unable to see the assigned business partners on the Fact Sheet for an Individual object.  I have created the iObject in the portal.  Here, I could not assign any BP's during the creation as the system does not have this option.  I then went ahead and created an Installed Base and assigned this iobject to it in the CRM system in transaction [IB51] "Create Installed Base".  I then went ahead and assigned the Business Partners to this iObject.
The situation is that I can see the assigned Business Partners in the Portal for this iObject/Component for the Installed Base in the "Installed Bases/Components" tab but when i go to the "Fact Sheet for Installed Bases" tab I am unable to see the assigned BP's.
I haven't been able to find any documentation on it either.  Can someone please help.
    Thanks.

    Hi,
Did you ever solve this issue?
I too am having the same problem and cannot display the factsheet or summary using the 'Go To' button in EP.
Any help would be much appreciated.

  • Issue in Hierarchy data upload from R/3 for info object Product Hierarchy.

    Hi,
I am trying to upload the hierarchy data from R/3 system for Info Object Product Hierarchy.
    Insted of business content info objects (0PRODH, 0PRODH1, 0PRODH2, 0PRODH3, 0PRODH4, 0PRODH5, 0PRODH6), we are using customized objects (ZPRODH, ZPRODH1, ZPRODH2, ZPRODH3, ZPRODH4, ZPRODH5, ZPRODH6).
In transfer rules the mapped is as specified below
    Fields        =>  Info Objects.
    0ZPRODH1 => ZPRODH1
    0ZPRODH2 => ZPRODH2
    0ZPRODH3 => ZPRODH3
    0ZPRODH4 => ZPRODH4
    0ZPRODH5 => ZPRODH5
    0ZPRODH6 => ZPRODH6
Now, when I schedule the Info Package, it is ending with an errors
"Node characteristic 0PRODH1 is not entered as hierarchy charactersitic for ZPRODH"
"Node characteristic 0PRODH2 is not entered as hierarchy charactersitic for ZPRODH"
"Node characteristic 0PRODH3 is not entered as hierarchy charactersitic for ZPRODH"
"Node characteristic 0PRODH4 is not entered as hierarchy charactersitic for ZPRODH"
"Node characteristic 0PRODH5 is not entered as hierarchy charactersitic for ZPRODH"
"Node characteristic 0PRODH6 is not entered as hierarchy charactersitic for ZPRODH".
when i tried to load by flat file, there is no issues. But, flat file loading is not allowed for us.
Please let me know any possible solution to handle this issue.
    Thanks.
    Regards,
    Patil.

    Hi voodi,
Insted of using the info object 0PRODH1, we should use customized info object ZPRODH1 which I added already in the external characteristic in Hierarchy.

    Patil.

  • Please only post SAP Business Objects products related questions here

    Hi
    Thanks for reading.
Unfortunately many people get confused with the term BI which was used for SAP BW at one time. With the acquisition of Business Objects some product names have changed.
SAP BW is still SAP BW, please post in the respective forums: /community [original link is broken]
Business Intelligence in this forum refers to the these SAP Business Objects products:
    SAP Business Objects Enterprise
    SAP Business Objects 4.0

    Hi Suresh
Thank you for the detailed response.  I tried your suggestions and neither works.
    LOV issue:
Within the Business View manager, i right-click on the LOV object and click "Edit List of Values..." and i get a dialog box that only shows me Available fields, List of Value Fields used, description field, and Referenced objects. Along with buttons for Clear Instance & Refersh Status.
I have read similar posts to what you suggested but never get to the same place as described.
    Please advise....
as for _Max Number LOV _
I have researched this as well and found the same suggestion you made. But the PRM file does not have that value, and the file contains all XML code
    Now what???
    Thanks
    Mike
