Individual tone curve sliders have disappeared.

I have the Tone Curve and I can make adjustments just fine. But the three individual sliders beneath it are gone. Tone Curve is checked in Window\Panels. I honestly have no idea what I did to toggle it off. Read a similar thread from 10/20, but the answer didn't solve my problem.

  • Tone Curve Sliders Disappeared

My tone curve sliders disappeared in Lightroom 3 (exposure, recovery, fill light, blacks, brightness, saturation, vibrance).  I have googled it and tried a few things with no luck.  THanks in advance for your help! I am desperate to resolve this ASAP!

I just realized i was not missing my tone curve sliders. i was missing the basic panel.  i restored it by going to Help--Search--Basic Panel and it popped up.  RELIEF!

  • Missing Tone Curve Sliders

    Hi all,
I'm not sure when this happened, but I just noticed that the Tone Curve no longer has sliders to adjust Darks, Lights, Shadows, etc.  All I have is the curve itself and the dropdown to adjust the type of curve.  Did I accidentally change a setting that hides the sliders?  I'm running LR 3.3 on Mac.  Thanks in advance!

    Paul,
There's a non-obvious button in the lower right cornter of the tone curve panel. It looks like a diagonal line with a dot on it. Press it.

  • Tone Curve sliders missing?

I have LR 3.2 and today I noticed that the region sliders in the tone curve panel are gone.
    Has anyone else experienced this?

  • Value sliders on color board have disappeared

    Hey guys,
Have got a very frustrating situation going on with the colorboard on FCPX. I've updated to 10.0.5 from 10.0.4 and the problem still hasn't rectified.
On the color board the value sliders are usually situated underneath the main visual 'graph' giving you the percentages etc. of your midtones, highlights etc. For some reason these value sliders have disappeared. They only appear one at a time when i click on the corresponding handle on the graph.
How do I bring the sliders back? I'm assuming I've accidently done a short cut to make them disappear.
    Many thanks,
    Robert

    *laughs*
    Jeez that worked.
I've spent the last few days fiddling about with all the menus etc. and... oh man, I feel like an idiot.
    Thank you very much Tom

  • Tone Curve RGB does not show up

I am using Windows 64 bit and there is no RGB choice on the tone curve.

Have to be in point curve mode and have to be in PV2012.

  • LR4.1 - Tone Curve - how to adjust individual RGB channels?

    Hi,
I am having trouble figuring out how to adjust the curve of individual RGB channels.  I am assuming the LR4 Tone Curve works like the PS Curves dialog with the channel dropdown.
    The LR4.1 Help says:
To make adjustments to individual points on the tone curve, choose an option from the Point Curve menu, click the Edit Point Curve button , and do any of the following:
Choose an option from the Channel pop-up menu. You can edit all three channels at once, or choose to edit the Red, Green, or Blue channel individually.
When I click the little icon in the lower right corner of the Tone Curve panel, the panel shrinks so that I don't see the Regions sliders.  If I click again, they are visible again.  I can't find where to select one of the three indvidual channels.
The Help refers to "the Point Curve menu."  Where is the Point Curve menu?  Is the Point Curve different from the Tone Curve?
If I right-click (Windows) in the curve dialog, the context menu has a Show Info option.  I click it on/off and don't see any change or any info.  Where should I be looking for info?
    Thanks for any help here.
    John

    Good morning John,
The point curve is the one without the sliders. The adjustments for the individual channels are only available with
PV2012. You must be editing a file with PV2010 or 2003. When in PV2012 you will see " Channels:   RGB" below the curve window. Click on the doule triangles following the RGB
    to pick the individual channel.

  • Tone curve "region" disappeared

    hello,
i am running lightroom 3 on mac os 10.6.8.  i use lightroom constantly and have never had any problems.  i started lightroom today and went to the develop module only to discover that under the "tone curve" panel, i no longer have any sliders for highlights, lights, darks, and shadows.  the graph portion of of the panel is there, containing the actual tone-curve, but everything else is missing.  anyone have any ideas on this?  screen grab of the panel is below.
    thanks!

Click on the small curve icon in the bottom right hand corner of the Curve panel (you can see it in your screenshot) and the curve will change back to sliders.
The curve that your screenshot shows has actually one big advantage over the other: You can drag the end points of the curve vertically up / down to set your black point or white point.
For instance you drag the bottom left point of the curve vertically up until it shows about 5%. And correspondingly you drag down on the right top end to about 95%. That ensures that you have detail in the highlights and in the shadows.

    Allan,
You clicked on the little square with a line through it in the lower right corner of the Tone Curve control, putting yourself into Point Curve mode. Click it again to go back.

I have lost my "Basic" panel in the Develop module and can't figure out how to get it back. • All my windows live messenger contact have disappeared of windows messenger and appeared in my phone contact list on my curve 9360, Why, and how can I get them back where they should be?

I went onto windows live messenger today and all my contacts have disappeared from it, but I also noticed that they had somehow now appeared in my curve 9360 phone contacts. How did this happen, and how can I get them back into windows live messenger and out of my phone contacts on my phone? This is driving me crazy, can anybody help please?
My phone is the curve 9360, OS is 7.0.0 bundle 2259 And it was purchased Easter Monday
    Thanks.

Thanks, but I checked iCloud and it has none of them.
If it backed up to my laptop, that died and I just got the new computer. The one that's crashed won't even boot, so there's no way to even tell if it was syncing the contacts along with all the phone photos. Literally happened at the same time - it was because I had the new computer that I was finally able to pull the photos off the phone and make room for the upgrade. It had refused to upgrade for lack of space for some time.
I had thought it was set to sync to iCloud but it vanished from BOTH my phone and the cloud. That's why I'm so angry about it.

  • LR5 not showing Tone Curve "region" panel and associated sliders.

    Hi,
The Tone Curve panel in LR5 as currently set up isn't showing the "Region" sub-panel and associated sliders.  It also isn't showing the slider immediately under the tone curve itself.  Any ideas on how to get these features to show?
    Thanks

    Hi Jao,
Bingo!  That did the trick.  Many thanks.

  • Tone Curve Region Sliders ?

Please explain how you can identify an area of an image that could benefit from adjustments using the Tone Curve Region Sliders, and explain how to set the sliders to get the effect you want.
    Thank you.

I think that the NAPP Lightroom page has a freely available video that shows how and why to use this part of the tone panel.

  • Tone curve - please bring back sliders, Canon DPP software just as clumsy!

Please bring back sliders for the tone curve beta 4 in this respect is now just as awkward and clumsy to operate in this respect as Canon DPP!

You can change from parametric to point curve mode yourself with the lower-right icon in the tone curve.

  • I have a macbook pro, i installed lightroom 5, but i don't have HSL or Tone Curve Can anyone help ?

I installed a few months back, and now i notice i don't have HSL/Color/B&W  or Tone curve, Have they been removed in an upgrade ?

Right click on any of the other panels header and a context menu will pop that will let you select the "missing" panels.
