Hi.
I like my E51 apart from a few things.
One of the worst is that the music player will not remember the track position when you exit like every other MP3 player in the world.
Is there a 3rd party application I can use as a player that will remember the track position or is there a work around for the Nokia Music Player?
I've seen a few symbian music player and the cost is minimal compared to the hassle of having to scan 45 minutes through a mix because the damn phone won't keep the position.

I almost bought the E51 but in the end opted for the N78, and had the same problem you have. Music player forgets where it is in long mixes, audio books etc if you turn the phone or player off.
For the nseries the quick work around is to turn the file into a podcast, you do this by selecting the track, click options, song details, then set Library to Podcast.
Don't know if it'll work on the e51 but it is the same symbian version so I think it should.

Look for coreplayer that works with E51 on the net, it plays almost all format.

If you are using another application, you are at the mercy of how that application operates as far as what occurs when it stops or errors out. The car is looking for music to play.

Sure, Nokia should develop a built-in search function, but I don´t miss it cause I am more of streaming music over 3G (nokia internet radio and mecanto).
I think that the audio quality also is way better than I could dream of (as an old high fidelity fan). I was really surprise over this..

Better music player for pearl? & app sites
is there a better and free music player for the pearl than the one that comes installed? theres really nothing wrong with it, but would be nice to have options, like an equalizer for instance! also while im at it, Im new to the BB scene. would someone mind posting a couple websites that offers free and decently priced apps/games? I'm trying to load flash file in iWeb and when i enter info in the "html snippet" box a "missing plug-in" message comes up (although i have Adobe Flash player installed, if that's the plug-in they're looking for). Anyone have any similar problems or solutions. Thanks
when i publish my site and vew it the page on the web it just comes up with the file name w/ the ,swf and the "mising plug-in" message below. if i click on the file name it displays the flash file but gigantic (the entire height of the page).totally perplexed!

Why did Apple destroy iTunes? Is there another music player for Mac.
I hate the new iTunes. Useless steps for navigation. They took something simple and complicated. Is there another music player for Mac. Unless I get the old iTunes back I'm done! I would use anything but this ridiculous player. How could they do this? Steve Jobs would never have let this happen.
Plus it's slow!!! Diffcult to burn CDs then find them. Yikes!!!!iTunes works fine for me, and hasn't been "destroyed" by any means. If you can't deal with the new, simpler interface, just go to the View menu and select "Show Sidebar" and "Show Status Bar". iTunes 11 will then look much like the pervious versions did.

E71 Music player (next track) control using the No...
I am using tehe Nokia E71 AND EVERYTHING IS SO FAR SO GREAT. The only problem I am experiencing now is that I cannot move to the next track using the button (that is part of the headset). In order to move to the next track, can anybody tell me how to move to the next track without having to remove my phone from the pocket?.
I have used phones e51, 6120 classic and 5300 with the same problem.

as you have discussed suggested to install PowerMP3 so i have installed that with version 1.00 which was free available... BUT ITS NOT WORKING... is there any other upgraded version of PowerMP3 available ?

I can't access most internet pages because I don't have adobe flash player for my powerbook and the download doesn't seem to work?
The message requesting that you download Adobe Flash Player takes you to FP requireing an Intel processor. Doesn't work on a PowerPC processor. I fould a hack, installed it & it works with Firefox, TenFourFox & Safari.
Download this http://www.steelbin.com/FPforFBPPC.zip to your desktop, unzip it, and replace the current Flash Player plug-in which is in your main/Library/Internet Plug-Ins folder, (not the user Library). Save the old one just in case this one doesn't work.

It appears to be limited to Dreamweaver. When I upload the files to my server and use BrowserLab or Microsoft SuperPreview the pages are rendering properly in all versions of IE. It's only broken when viewing in Design view within Dreamweaver or when using BrowserLab from within Dreamweaver. So at least I know my website works, which is a huge relief, but does anyone have any idea why Design view would complete ignore my styles? It's very annoying. -

MargaretThe MX922 (known as the MX926 in Australia) is supported by 10.10 and Windows 7. Whatever site you were looking at may not have updated their details. Here is a link from the Canon Australia web site showing the drivers and applications for this model for 10.10.

I bought a Zeppelin music player and iPod classic in December 2012, and all went well until I last synched the iPod with iTunes, and now I get a message saying that the iPod doesn't recognise the attached accessory when I try to connect it to the Zeppelin. I did recently update to the latest iTunes version-could this be the problem, and if so how do I cure it? All help appreciated.
It's still charging when you plug it in. That just means it won't play music out the speaker. If that's what you were looking to do, they have speakers for iPods.
