Inexpensive laser that's AEBS-compatible?
Looking for an inexpensive laser printer that can be accessed over a home wireless network. Want it to plug in to the USB port on an AEBS. I can't seem to find a list that shows which laser printers are compatible with this setup.
Any ideas and, especially, recommendations?
The network is an AL Powerbook 15, Cube and iBook G4, all running OS 10.4.3.
Currently have an Epson Stylus Photo R300 plugged into the AEBS USB port, but it's somewhat unreliable, besides the fact that the ink is a little on the expensive side.
I have a Brother HL1440 laser printer, and have had it for about 3 years. It work well with Airport and produces very good quality prints. I think I paid $199 for it and the toner cartridges are $30. They last wuite a long time, unless you print very high volume. It only comes with 1 paper tray (convertible for letter or legal), but it does have a manual feed, so if you usually use letter, but want to print something on legal, you can just manually feed the legal (or letter) there. I very much enjoy this printer. Now I'd like to find an inexpensive color laser, so if anyone has any suggestionns for that, I'd really like to hear them.

the last version of Mac OS X which supported running PowerPC apps on Intel Macs was Mac OS X 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard). If you’d like to play this PowerPC game on your Intel MacBook Pro, then you’ll need to install Snow Leopard on it and boot into Snow Leopard. (Note that the last MacBook Pro which natively supported Snow Leopard was the Early 2011 model.)
The game was almost certainly published before Mac OS X 10.7 (Lion) was released, so back then, all versions of “Mac OS X 10.3 or higher” would have supported running that PowerPC game. -

Let's try a standalone Apple Mobile Device Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of why it's not installing under normal conditions.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:

Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR:

Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi (or AppleMobileDeviceSupport64.msi) to do a standalone AMDS install.
(If it offers you the choice to remove or repair, choose "Remove", and if the uninstall goes through successfully, see if you can reinstall by doubleclicking the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi again.)
Does it install (or uninstall and then reinstall) properly for you? If so, can you get a normal iTunes install to go through properly now?
If instead you get an error message during the install (or uninstall), let us know what it says. (Precise text, please.) -

It has NEVER been possible to purchase an unlocked iPhone 3G in the US. Your phone was hacked. Updating it has re-locked it to AT&T. AT&T will NOT unlock iPhones for any reason.
The phone is now useless to you. There is no legitimate way to fix this. Buy a new phone. Preferably in India.
