Infamous spotify pausing issue

So I've been dealing with this issue for about 24 hours now. I tried every suggestion on the community and web. Uninstalled, deleted folders, reinstalled, logged out all sessions, changed my password, formatted my SD card, restored my phone to stock 4.2.2, upgraded my phone to lollipop, issue is still there. Last week, I had logged in on my PC, and was using my phone to control it. cool feature. Then a few days later, it just wouldn't recognize that I was logged in on the PC too. This 'multiple people' logged in issue is similar to what causes the pausing, so I'm guessing it's something like that on spotify server side. What I expected to happen1. songs should seamlessly play through playlist without stopping or pausing. What actually happened1. I open a newly installed Spotify app on Android2. I log in with user/pass (not facebook)3. Installed Spotify version 2.1.0.903, similar problem but different. Audio just goes away mid track but it acts like it's still working.

How i get by with the sleep, pause issue after 1.0.2 update

ok. i'm sure you guys are aware of the ipod sleeping/pausing issue after updating your ipod to 1.0.2. my ipod will pause whenever it is in the jensen dock station and the green battery indicator shows up. whenever i use the dock or remote to unpause the song, a few seconds later, it pauses again. so instead of using the dock or remote to play, unpause, whatever, i connect the ipod to the dock and use the wheel to navigate and 'only' use the play/pause button on the ipod itself to kick off the playing of music. if i go back to the remote, the ipod pauses. if i only use the menu and play/pause button on the wheel, my songs do not pause. it sure was nice using the remote before 1.0.2. i mean, it did come with the dock for my remoting pleasure but alas, i shall wait on the next update. hope this helps someone.

I will have to try that... I took my iPod to work today and plugged it into my JBL docking station and it was skipping. I did notice it seemed to go to sleep more often when I used the remote... There's a whole other forum on this maybe you could check out too. But it's really annoying and I hope Apple comes out with a fix soon! I will definitely try to use the iPod wheel tomorrow and not the remote.

Does the 1.1 Update offer any relief from the "random pause" issue?

My iPod is exhibiting the "random pause" issue and is going to the Apple Store this weekend. In the meantime I'm going to install the v1.1 update, but just wanted to get some feedback on whether this fixed the problem for anyone else?

The Pausing issue... Apple in denial ?

Having read hundreds of posts here and hundreds on the iPodlounge forum, it seems Apple are in denial about the pausing iPod issue, can somebody please let me know when Apple are going to address this problem ? - I have read so many posts where people are going to Apple Stores and the Genius people deny ever hearing about the pausing isssue. My 60 GB has been pausing for a while now, and so far no fix has solved the issue. Is there a software hack out there that by-passes the pause when headphones are removed issue ? or can Apple include this as an optinon in the next update ? The function is not really required anyway, it takes seconds to plug the phones back in. My problem started when I purchased a 3rd party pair of headphones to replace my faulty stock ones, my replacements are better quality and really show how good the iPod is APART FROM THIS PAUSING PROBLEM - APPLE you need to address this issue PLEASE - I want to continue loving my iPod on the headphone I choose to use not be forced to use the mediocre supplied ones.

I tried several pairs,
1) Senheiser CX 300 for home use,
2) Senheiser MX 550 for 'out and about'
With both pairs I get the 'pause' issue, other non Senheisser ones did too, Panasonic, Sony - the only ones that do work are the supplied Apple ones, but mine are faulty (they got wet), so rather than re-order a pair of stock ones I thought I would 'upgrade' to a pair that sounded better. Ironically Apple sell both the Senheiser pairs in the Online Apple Store and they come recommended. Unfortunately I, along with hundreds of other people, are suffering the 'pause issue' which is one I feel Apple need to address right away and provide a firmware solution. I never had this problem on previous iPods regardless of the headphones I used. Incidentally it is a headphone socket issue as I also plug my iPod via the dock into a hi-fi, no pausing problems at all (I tend to unplug the phones when listening this way) so I am **** sure its to do with the sockets sensitivity and firmware.
AN UPDATE APPLE...... PLEASE, PRETTY PLEASE.

Spotify paused because account is being used somewhere else

Hello, I have spotify on both my iPad and iPhone. My iPhone works fine but my iPad constantly gets an error while playing saying that "spotify has been paused because your account is being used somewhere else", but it is definitely not. I've even checked to make sure the application is closed on my iPhone and I also have never logged in anywhere else. I also have an issue connecting this account with Facebook. I had an old free account connected to Facebook, which I thought I unlinked, and it won't let me connect my new premium account. Please help.

I just purchased a set of AudioEngine A5+ speakers and a D1 DAC and started encountering a pretty random issue with Spotify. As I was playing songs via spotify, around the 1.5 minute mark, music would stop coming out of the system for 2-3 seconds, then play for 10 seconds, then pause agian for 2-3 seconds (and repeat). This sounds to me like a buffering issue (the music was "saved to be available offline"). I'd never encountered this issue before. My D1 DAC is conncted to my mac via USB cable. Additionally, this issue is not occuring with iTunes.
I've searched the forums and couldn't find anything similar.
Any one have any ideas?

I am having the very same issue. Music pauses and resumes at random when using my DAC (FiiO E7 + FiiO E9), the internal sound card does not have this issue. The music seems to resume when I:- Cmd-Tab to Spotify (focus Spotify instead of Chrome)- Play a different sound (like the notification sounds in the system perferences) It seems to be happening with the latest version of Spotify. Is there any debug mode I can use? EDIT: Ok, some things that I tried:
Use Airfoil to stream the music from spotify to the USB Dac (just stream to the computer). For some reason, this works, but Airfoil introduces a 2 second delay... There seems to be something wrong with the way Spotify sends audio to audio devices connected to the Mac. Please fix this.

HT-ST9 Spotify Connect Issue

Just purchased the HT-ST9. It's absolutely awesome! However I'm having issues playing Spotify with Spotify Connect.
The speaker connects to my wifi no problem and has updated to the latest firmware, but when listening to Spotify from any device - iPhone 6, iPhone 5, iPad, MacBook - it will stop playing after about 1 minute and jump back to the home screen. This only happens when using Spotify Connect. Bluetooth has no issues, but the sound quality is nowhere near as good as using Connect so I want to get this fixed.

Please try to clear all memorized settings and restore the receiver to the factory default settings by the following procedure. Be sure to use the buttons on the receiver to perform this operation.33
1. Turn off the receiver.
2. Hold down (on/standby) on the receiver for 5 seconds. [CLEARING] appears on the display panel for a while, then changes to [CLEARED!] .
Note:
It takes a few minutes for the memory to be cleared completely. Do not turn the receiver off until [CLEARED!] appears on the display panel.

IPod Pause Issue

somehow, my ipod randomly pauses when i listen to a song, only occasionally though...i dont know if you can fix this problem, i do the reset thing but sometimes it doesnt make much of a difference as sometimes my ipod will just start randomly pausing with a different song. so yeah any ideas for help please?

I was just coming in here to search for an issue like this, and found this thread.
I started experiencing what seems like this same issue yesterday. When playing MUSIC ONLY on the iPod, iPhone 3G, random skipping, within the songs, pausing etc. is occurring. This is not occurring when playing podcasts however.
The other oddity here is it does not happen, when playing through headphones. It's only happening when using an auxiliary cable through my car stereo. I know there is nothing wrong with the jack, or plug, as other devices, including another phone\ipod work just fine.
I'm calling Apple regarding this as I literally just had the phone replaced due to a problem with the ring\vibrate switch falling off, so this is a new\replacment 3G. It's been updated to the latest of everything, so this is really disturbing me at this point.

Play & Pause issue in Captivate 6

I have created an animation using Flash ( AS3) with some frames and has navigation buttons to go from one frame to another. It works fine when I play it directly. After loading the same file in Captivate 6, when the pause & play button of the Captivate 6 is clicked in the final output it loads different frames of the animation. So somehow animation’s navigation is getting controlled by Captivate 6. Is this a known issue? If I don’t click the Play or Pause the animation works well in Captivate 6 also.

Quiz Slide Pausing Issue

I'll do my best to explain my situation. I just got Captivate 8, and am just getting comfortable with the environment. But for the life of me, I can't figure out why my quiz slides are pausing at the end and not continuing to the next slide. I am using master slides, and custom navigation buttons. My intention is to not include the built in playback controls, as I wanted to have my navigation stylized and placed a bit differently. I do have Playback controls enabled currently, to help me troubleshoot the issue. My Back and Refresh buttons work fine, but whenever I click the Next button (set to the Continue Action), it will complete the current slide, but pause somewhere in the transition. The only way to continue at this point is to press Play in the Playback controls. I've tried making this button a master slide button (by using a smart shape, and selecting Use As Button) and I've tried putting the button on each individual slide, but the problem seems to be the same (or similar) no matter what.

Well, this is what I get for being an idiot. You made me realize that there was something silly I was overlooking. I had a button in the Master Slide that was set for the Exit action. I guess that action automatically has a pause at the end of it in the timeframe, so it adds an extra, unwanted pause if included on the Master. I removed it and placed it on each individual slide, and it's working fine now. But for the record, In Captivate 7 I was just using a blank master, and (stupidly) copying every element that should have been templatized onto each slide... I'm not the greatest self-learner.

IPod crash/hang/pause issues.

I've got a 160GB iPod Classic, running current software (1.1.2), formatted Windows.
Operating System running iTunes is Windows 8 x64, iTunes is 11.0.4.4 (x64),
I regularly connect it to a Pioneer Avic Z130BT.
I have regular issues with the iPod where it will hang, requiring a restart, or will randomly crash/reboot. I've also seen some issues where it'll pause briefly during playback of a track.
I've attempted to obtain crash logs, but they don't appear to sync to my desktop, c:\users\"username"\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\Logs simply has some "asl.<date>.log" files, no directory for my device or anything like that.
Is there a different location that logs are located under Windows 8? Is there a way I can ensure I'm forcing the logs to propagate so I can try to view them?
Does anyone have any suggestions as to why I might be seeing the above issues?

Apple seems to have applied a workaround for the video sleep issue in the iPod Classic 1.0.2 update.
Previously, when playing back video to a TV from an iPod Classic, pausing and allowing it to go to sleep would kick you out to the top level menu screen when attempting to resume. This was contrary to both how the 5G iPods did it, and the iPod Classic itself does it when viewing on it’s internal screen, which simply allow you to resume your video from where you left off.
Now, when the iPod goes to "sleep" (at approx. 2mins 13secs), the battery indicator appears on the iPod screen, but it continues to display the paused video on the TV screen. Hitting play again allows it to resume your video where you left off.
I suppose that this new method could be a concern to those of you worried about burn-in on LCD and Plasmas (video paused and still displaying after 15 + mins), but I have to say that this preferable to being kicked off to the main menu and having to scroll through the iPod itself to start your video back up.
Also, TV Out: OFF/ON/ASK is now accessible without having to attach it to an Apple dock, as it was with the 5.5G.

Pausing Issue (CS4)

I am using Adobe Premiere CS4 trial (4.0.0), and i am having the issue of when editing a vid. In the preview you see in the upper right. The video doesn't preview as it should. But the picture of the video pause's while the audio is fine and keeps playing.
I can load a video file fine in a video player, but it doesn't play in the preview in Premiere
I checked the System Requirement and i my computer meets the right requirements.

The specs they list is way off.
Also not all video is equal.
Some are much harder to edit than others.

Spotify annoying issue

So i think it was the update that the interface got updated. Everytime you start spotify (with windows) it would show you the last song played, so if you were listening to a list you would keep listening to it from the point you stopped. This is happening for months i just decided to post it now because i dont think you want to fix it after 10 updates the same thing is happening.Now for example the day AC/DC were added to spotify i lestened to them and from that day everytime i open spotifyit starts with the "Hells Bells"...So it updates it after some days with another song you listened last.Tryed delete/reinstall, i asked other friends and they have the same problem so i know its a spotify issue and not mine.Is there any lets say developer who reed the issues or just the community and my message is pointless ?

I have setup SSRS data driven subscription and it run successfully without any error but something that i noticed, i wanted to know why it happened and how can we prevent?
1. when i check status bar every 10 sec, after generating some reports, its stays at some count numbers and dont move and suddenly it will move and finish the process without any errors, why pause?
2. if my data driven subscription run successfully for 1900 reports and fail for 100 reports, how can i manually find 100 errored report and run it manually?
3. In the database, is there any way we can get detailed about processing or error info other than log tables in reportserver db?

In Reporting Services, status messages within the subscription page are updated when the subscription is scheduled to process. If the trigger never occurs, the status message will not be updated. For more information, please refer to this article:

In this scenario, you can run the query to find the failed subscription information from the database which we have setup for Reporting Services. Please refer to this article:

Auto Pause Issues

Hello. Recently my Ipod Classic 160GB stopped auto pausing upon removal of the headphones. In addition, the Ipod doesn't seem to recognize the headphones when I plug them in (the Ipod doesn't turn on when I plug in the headphones etc.). However, music is still playing just fine through the headphones. I haven't had a chance to try another pair of headphones yet. Does anyone know if this is headphone-related or if it has something to do with the Ipod's conncections?

Since you're question lacks a lot of needed information to fully understand it I'll assume you want to know whether you can use either TC and retain good AF charistics. The answer is that in order to retain GOOD AF you need a fast lens & a pro body but even then you may be limited. The AF systems used require enough light to pass through the lens & if used the TC to still be strong enough to accurately detect the distance between the camera & target. The design limits are well known if you do your homework & I doubt there will be any changes in the near future with the possible exception of a firmware upgrade that will allow the 5D3 to AF at f8. Based on how long it's taking for that firmware to be released it's not an easy task.
