InfiniteSMS app or similar available on Mac App store?

I'm getting rid of my iPad possibly and switching to a MacBook Air. I like the convience of the InfiniteSMS app and would not want to lose that. Is something similar or same app available through the Mac App Store?
I'm at work and cannot pull up the app store information.

I just called the number PDilla gave; they took my credit card info, and will send a download code and instructions later. I was a little surprised it wasn't immediate, but I'll report back when I get the mail (or when I don't :-) ).
Apple hardware runs a long time (this is an early 2008 Macbook); you'd think they'd keep software such as Lion available for those of us that have hardware that cannot upgrade to Mountain Lion.
Update: In the time since I began typing the info, above I have received an acknowledgement of the order. The email implies that it will be a physical shipment, but the Apple store representative said it would be a code for download. It has not yet shown up in the Purchases section of the Appstore.

The Mac uses Mac OS X and iDevices use iOS. These are two different operating systems and the apps must be written for each operating system specifically, even when the apps go by the same name, such as the iWork apps, they are two ifferent versions of the same app for the two different platforms.
So, as an example, Safari has been written for three different operating systems, Mac OS X, iOS and Windows. And the Safari apps, as similar as they are visually, are not interchangeable for the different platforms.

I have a Mac Book Pro. I installed some apps and then deleted them from my mac. All the apps are no longer visible in the launchpad. But still the mac app store shows them as an update available. Kindly tell my either how to uninstall those apps completely or how to get rid of the problem.

Thanks for the question. If I understand correctly, you dont want to see some purchases in iTiunes store. I would recommend that you read this article, it may be able to help you resolve or isolate the issue.

Available in Mac App Store, Image?

Hi, I write reviews on my blog (vardox.com) and was wondering if there was an image similar to the "Available on app store" image for the mobile app store. I am looking for this to have an easy way to link users to the product on the app store, after reading a product review on it, if they want to check it out. Thanks for your help!

No sure exactly the image you are looking for.

Mac App Store will not show 3.2.2 as an available update

I upgraded to Lion last week, but Aperture 3.2.2 is not showing up as an available update. Will I be stuck with 3.1.3 until Apple releases the next update? I'm not sure what to do.
Thinking out loud...could the Mac App Store may be confused about what version of Aperture I'm using? I downloaded Lion on the first day that it was available, but I didn't install it because I had some Rosetta applications. In the interim from when I downloaded Lion and installed it, I think Aperture was updated to 3.1.3. Is there a way to reset the Mac App Store so that it will rescan my apps for available updates?

Is Aperture installed in the system Application folder as Aperture (noting else no Aperture3.1.3 or anything like that)
Did you buy 3 from the App Store? Are you logging in to the App Store with the same Apple ID you used to buy Aperture?
In the App Store in the Purchases tab what is listed?
If all the above is OK then you could just remove Aperture from the Application folder (drag it to the Desktop) and then go to the App Store. It should allow you to download the app again and will give you the latest version.

Keynote Remote not available from South African Mac App Store

I Just bought Keynote from the Mac App Store and discovered that the sister app Keynote Remote is not available in the South African Mac App Store. Not only is this app missing but there is no games category and there are other very useful apps which aren't listed. This means no Fight Control or Simon Says
Any way this can be rectified?

Is the Keynote Remote application not showing up for you in the iTunes App store under South African?

Keep in mind that the stores while they share the same AppleID are different for iOS devices like iPhones/iPads and iPod Touch then it is for your Macintosh Computer.

Unbelievable. All it took was one iteration on the Mac App Store and we're back to being forced to buy the hard-to-install-and-likely-to-be-wrought-with-problems-DRM-delight version of the upgrade direct from Adobe?! I wish Adobe would decide on a distribution model and stick with it for the sake of its customers. I'm getting awfully fed up with having to navigate a different way of upgrading the software every time it becomes available. I might not bother this time. Get it right, Adobe. You can no longer assume you have a captive audience.

The Mac App Store was only introduced at the 10.6.6 update. As you need Snow Leopard before you can access the App Store, it's hardly going to be available there, is it?
You have to buy the retail Snow Leopard DVD. That is available from Apple stores or the Apple online store (as distinct from the App Store) for about $30.
It will also be available from Amazon.
The installer is 10.6.3, so you'll need to use the combo update to get to 10.6.8.

IMovie '11 available alone for $15 at new Mac App Store

To get to this you have to download the new Mac OS update (10.6.6)--something oddly not mentioned on the e-mail Apple sent out alerting people of the new site. Just use Software Update and an icon is placed in the Dock (and an Application called App Store is place in the Applications folder) when you install the update.

I wish they would make iMovie 06 available in the App Store. We sometimes have to pay over $100 for iMovie 06. That's a lot of money for teachers.

Many recommend installing updates separately as a downloadable file, this they claim makes the installation more stable for your system. I was skeptical about this procedure at first, however I've noticed that the repair permissions procedure goes much faster with fewer glitches.

Recent availability of AutoCAD LT for Mac in the App Store

We in the engineering community who love our Macs were thrilled to find that AutoCADLT is available once again on the Mac platform. We have until now been forced to use it through VMWare 3.0 (a pc emulation software) as a separate application window with all the software, security and interface problems that surround pcs. That said, unlike other pay apps in the store, this one at 900.00 usd has no trial period. That's a steep price to pay for an entirely new software that has to be tested before it can be reasonably evaluated to replace the pc version. Business settings need certainty in these matters and 900.00 for a 'trial' is too uncertain. The AutoCAD website offers free trial versions of every single one of their Mac compatible softwares, incliuding the recenly released AutoCAD 2012 for the Mac; why not the App Store?

The iTunes Store doesn't sell software for the Mac. I presume you mean the Mac App Store. To the best of my knowledge, no software sold in the Mac App Store has serial numbers nor product keys. For what reason do you think you need them?

ryt... so i have a mac book pro 15" 2.5 ghz, 8 gig ram highest specs available for my comp etc... i also have $15.36 in my apple account from using a redeemer card i bought 2day. i got home and went to my app store on my mac and wanted to buy GTA san andreas for $14.99 so i clicked BUY... it asked for my password and i gave it.. then it asked for my password again for billing info as it usually does and i would usually press DONE and it would start to download.. "i don't use a credit card on the app store cause i will probably spend to much money, so i have it on NONE and just buy credit on the redeem cards when i really want something" anyways.. so as i usually do i clicked BUY blah, blah BUT... after it said pls do the billing info part i just added my password and clicked DONE except this time it didn't let me buy it?? so now i would please like to know if anyone has had this problem and fixed it or knows how i can get past this annoyance and buy the game?! or is it the game having problems or what??

The total cost of the app may include any applicable taxes and fees. Since the app is $14.99 and you only have $15.36 credit, that's probably not enough to purchase the app and that's why you are asked for a credit or debit card so Apple can apply the difference to that account.

Next time that happens while on WiFi, turn WiFi off in settings, wait about 30 seconds or so, then turn WiFi back on. Sometimes you have to do this two or three times, but this fixes that issue as well.
