Info-Bubble in a pdf

Hello (I speak french, excuse my english ^^)
I would like to know if it is possible to create an "info bubble" in a pdf file (exported from InDesign).
For example, I have a complicated word and during his overflight, the definition appears next to the pointer!

If you're viewing that file with the Preview application that comes with OS X, I've found that it's not perfect at being able to read PDF files. You might try the free Adobe Reader. Once you install that it will take over viewing of PDF files in Safari. If you don't want that, open Adobe Reader's preferences and change that option in the "Internet" category.

How can i remove the measurement info bubble from displaying while using patch tool?

When removing unwanted parts of an image or repairing older images, the tool most used by me is the patch tool. When I select a patch and move a bubble with measurements of how far I've moved this patch pops up and ALWAYS seems to be in the way. Some areas to repair are extremely magified and can make or break an image looking natural or not. The darn measurement bubble seems to place itself in the worst possible location for exact placement of small elements. How can I turn this info bubble from popping up as I'm not why it's even there?

Pulling filepath info from range of pdf's in folder, inserting into excel (VBScript)

I can code getting page numbers and placing into an excel spreadsheet. However I need a dialog to pop up asking for a folder path, then the code should count the number of pdf's in the folder and write the folder path to the first cell, number of .pdf's in the folder to the second cell, and then do a page count on each .pdf in the folder and writing them to each of the next cells.
Note: I need to do this in VBScript, not JS.
I know I can do this with a simple set of for...next loops and whatever the syntax is for pulling the pdf count in the folder and the file path info. If someone could post a good vbscript reference for acrobat that would be all I'd need to get this done. Or any syntax regarding ripping the filepath info and the count of a specific filetype in a folder would also help.
The dialog box to ask the user to specify a folder will be the most difficult for me as I've never done this before, I know I can use an inputbox but I really need the user to have a folder view for this.

Preview deletes info when saving a pdf form from the IRS

This is driving me CRAZY. I have been working on my tax forms which have all been saved from the internet as a pdf through preview. When I go into the file to update numbers and try to save the file with the updated information, it won't let me. It will only let me do a "save as". If I do a "save as" and name the file the same as before (replaces original) or if I rename it, the pdf will save, but any data that I did not type in in the most recent session is deleted. So, when I open up my taxes and change a few numbers, the new numbers are saved, but all the rest of my data from before is deleted. It is making me want to scream. It does this repeatedly to different forms saved from the IRS' website and my local state's revenue website and on different days and with a shutdown in between. It isn't the websites, it is preview!
Oh, and just for info, sometimes preview will let me save the data I have updated and I don't lose anything, but then I can make a couple of more changes, go to save and the ability to "update" my current file with "save" isn't highlighted, only the "save as".
This is a brand new macbook pro, only a couple of months old. It has Preview version 5.0.3. I have done all updates that the computer has downloaded.
Any ideas anyone?

Missing File Info when exporting to PDF

I am trying to export a PDF file from Freehand MX and even
all information is filled in FILE INFO, the information was
stripped out from the PDF file. Does someone know how to avoid it
and keep the metadata together with the PDF?

It's unrelated to the script you are using.
This has been discussed over and over in the general forum, but it boils down to:
If you have lots of images, there is no way you can have a small file AND good image quality. One of them has to suffer.
That said, you can inspect and possibly clean up your PDF withAcrobat Pro.

Requesting assistance in creating a custom file info panel from a PDF

I am hoping someone can assist me with this. I am in the USMC and work in the Combat Camera field. Our video Marines are required to fill out shot lists which are in PDF form. Is it possible to recreate the PDF as a file info panel so that they can input this information as metadata? I am no programmer by any means. Is there a visually based program that I can use to create this (like Flash Catalyst is to Flash)?

Can't see info typed into fillable pdf: See Below

I created pdf forms using adobe forms central.
)    I have the pdf I created using FormsCentral on my desktop
)    I do a file save as pdf, so I can change the name of the document while still saving my blank original pdf document.
)    I write into my fillable saved as pdf doc and then email it to a coworker. The file size at this point is around 67 KB
)    This coworker opens up file and does a save as so they can rename it and save it to their desktop.
)    This coworker than adds information to the document by tying into the fillable pdf doc.

)    When I receive the document it is now 1 MB, Also I can only see what I wrote into the doc before I emailed it to her. However if I print the document everything she typed in shows up on the printed document. Or If I click in each field that you can type in the words or numbers she typed in show up but only in the field I’m clicking my mouse in
)    My question is would you say this is a user issue or an issue with the form itself, perhaps a bug.

Hey George, I emailed you the pdf docs. One using Windows Reader and One using Adobe Reader. It does appear that the fillable pdf docs do not work very well with windows reader. Windows Reader makes the file size much bigger and doesn't let people who don't use windows view info put into the file unless you print the doc or click in each space to view whats written. It does appear that the drop down menus and check boxes work in both adobe reader and windows reader.

Problem adding new info to an old PDF File

I have an old book I wrote and saved in PDF years ago, like 15 years ago.
I tried to add some new info to the book so I can have it on my news blog
I have been able to get the old pdf to display, but when I try to add the book into my Word 2010 to put on my blog the final new file, it won't load the old file.
Any ideas on why new Word won't import an old pdf to merge into a new file?

It does it for other old books I've done, just not for this huge book, it may be it's too big over 100mb in file size since it's all scanned images of gov docs about UFOS.
So it may be a size limit to merge a new word doc with an old pdf file.

Need info on this Flash PDF catalog site

Could someone give me a lead on what software or service was used to create the following online Flash PDF catalog?
I've searched most of the services that host your converted PDF as Flash on their site but I can't locate any reference in the source page for this piece.

It could have been created entirely in Flash using something like the code in the above links. If you start with PDFs these could be imported into the Flash file, or loaded dynamically at runtime.
InDesign CS4 (and CS5, I presume) can create SWFs with the page flip transition. It may be possible to create the brochure like this and then load this SWF into the Flash site at runtime. But the zoom and navigation features make me think this wasn't the case here. I would guess that it was all done in Flash with the page content loaded at runtime.

Thanks, will try that. Just have to work out Word settings so the conversion is seamless. Word tends to drop images and such when I do that.
In the interim, I've downloaded the CutePDF driver and all seems to be working. Ultimately the issue seems to lie with the PDF driver provided by Acrobat, but no matter how many times I reinstall the driver I still get the same problem.

Email pdf by getting email info from the same pdf?

I'm working on a form that has many fields for a customer to fill out. One of these is an email form. I would like to write something in javascript that will grab this information that would have just been filled out by the customer and email the entire pdf to them.
Basically, I'm looking for a box that a user will be able to input their email into, with a button next to it that will email the pdf to them based on what their email is.
I know a little javascript but I'm not sure where to start on this... Any help would be greatly appreciated
