The information contained in the notes above is of a rather technical nature and require a good understanding of DBM and in most cases also ABAP development skills.

UPDATE:
The enhancement concept of Vehicle Master WebDynpro might have to be altered to some extend because of a planned correction in the Vehicle Master WebDynpro application. This is currently being investigated.
Note 1380716 (and less likely also note 1380714) might be affected. Consequently enhancements being made based on the current version of the Vehicle Master WebDynpro enhancement concept might have to be adapted accordingly.

Nothing works - no icons on desktop, finder will not open, etc.

I am running OS 10.4.7, and suddenly, nothing works. Finder will not open. iTunes will not open. Trash will not open. iPhoto will not open, etc. The only programs that seem to open are Safari and Mail (though Safari crashes if I try to watch any video, as Quicktime will not open). Moreover, all of the icons on the desktop have vanished, along with the info bar up top. Spotlight will not open either. I can't access the hard drive directory. Any suggestions? Or, should I just take it into the shop?

Go to iTunes menu View -> Show browser.
Select a Genre at the top left which you want to change.
This will show all songs with that Genre.
Select all the songs shown and right click - get info.
Change the Genre to what you want and the misspelled one will disappear.

The Settings > General > Software Update option only appears when you have iOS 5+ installed, if you have iOS 4 then you will need to follow the second part of that article and update via your computer's iTunes.
Connect the iPad to your computer's iTunes and copy any purchases off the iPad to your computer via File > Transfer Purchases. You may also want to copy photos and any important documents off the iPad as well e.g. via the file sharing section at the bottom of the device's apps tab when connected to iTunes, via wifi, email, dropbox etc - they should be included in the backup, but it's best to have a copy of them outside of the backup just in case. You can then force a backup of the iPad by right-clicking the iPad 'Device' on the left-hand side of iTunes and selecting 'Backup'.
Then start the update by selecting the iPad on the left-hand side of iTunes, and on the Summary tab on the right-hand side clicking the Check For Updates button

If it's a first gen iPad then it should be update to iOS 5.1.1, if it's an iPad 2 (or 3) then it will update to iOS 6 (so you will lose the built-in YouTube app and the Maps app will change).

one question I have backed up my iPhone but if I want to reset it as a new iPhone just to see if that helps with the battery and I have backed up in iCloud also and if I do reset it and when I sign back into iCloud as a new phone I won't lose my contacts right? If your contacts, calendar, notes, etc. are synced to iCloud they will download back to your phone when you sign back into your iCloud account in Settings>iCloud. You can check to confirm that they are in iCloud by going to icloud.com from your computer and seeing if your data is there.

If none of your third-party apps are working, but the Apple built-in ones are ok, then try downloading any free app from the store (as that appears to reset something) and then re-try them - the free app can then be deleted. In terms of re-downloading apps then you can do so as long as they are still available in the store, and you use the same iTunes account as you originally used to buy them, then you should be able to re-download them for free : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519

If they are Tunes purchased music you have to sing into the account that purchased them.
Is this the iTunes library/computer you sync with? You can rally only "sync" with one iTunes library/computer.However, yo can manually manage music and videos among different libraries/computer. See the manual method of:

Mail: do not have the same account loaded onto the two devices.
Photos: go into Settings->Photos & Camera->and turn off photo stream.
everything else, sign out of the Apple ID on the device you dont want to be visible.

Do you clean your iPad screen? Do not use standard window cleaners, with ammonia or alcohol, like Windex, but a damp towel, followed by a micro-fibre cloth is recommended. There are also cleaners you can buy which are specifically designed for iPad/iPhone devices, such as iClean from Monster.

Move cursor onto video. Right click. Click Settings, Click the "never ask again" box. Then click Close. That will work.
For some reason, that always worked for me, but in the last two days, it does not work, and it seems to freeze on the

I tried to initial RAM disk with and got error message
[root@archiso /]# mkinitcpio -p linux
==> ERROR; Preset not found: '/etc/mkinitcpio.d/linux.preset'
And I found some answers but one said
ALARM doesn't use an uInitrd.
and another said I have to be install kernel26.
How I can solve this?

This is confusing given this report. Could you confirm exactly the prompt you have when you try to run the configuration commands such as mkinitcpio -p linux.
Because, as Trilby says, if you really have successfully installed base and base-devel and chrooted into the system, you should not be seeing these errors. Also, I am pretty sure that you should not have needed to verify the master key manually. When Arch first introduced signing, manual verification of keys was required but I am almost certain that is no longer the case. So something is almost certainly wrong at an earlier stage and you need to fix that, as Trilby says, before moving onto the next stage.
EDIT: "As Trilby says" should now read "as Trilby says again" - I'm too slow.

Patch Failed - error 004, Could not find etc\config\inventory

Hi:
I'm trying to upgrade a 10.1.0.2 database with the new patch (via Enterprise Manager) and although EM had all steps succeeding (cachePatchFile, checkTarget, stagePatch, expandPatch, applyPatchWIN, collectionStep) when I look at the logs, I see that the applyPatchWIN step actually failed. Does anyone know why this occurs? How do I make redo the last two tasks after making whatever changes I need to make?
