Hi,
you need to setup a BOBJ server (eg. BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 3.1 or BO Edge 3.1) and then install the BusinessObjects integration Kit for SAP on the same machine your BOBJ server runs.
In order to build reports you can either use Crystal Reports (eg Install Crystal Report Designer 2008 V1 if you have an XI 3.1 server installed), WebIntelligence (Install the Business Objects XI 3.1 Client Tools in order to be able to build universes), BusinessObjects Voyager or XCelsius. Please note that you have to always install the BOBJ integration Kit for SAP (should be the same version as your server and client installation) on your clients AFTER you installed one or more of the above client tools.

What User authorization objects needed for connecting to SAP from xMII?

We eneter a SAP user and password for connecting to SAP from xMII to retrieve the metadata of the incoming IDocs.
When I specify a user with SAP_ALL user profiles, the IDocs are received properly in xMII. If I specify a user with privileges to run only certain transactions, IDocs are not received in xMII.
What user authorization objects are needed for this user to connect to SAP from xMII?

I turned on the SAP System trace for this user and figured out the following auth. objects are required for receiving IDocs in xMII:
C_TCLA_BKA
S_RFC
S_CTS_ADMI
B_ALE_MAST
S_IDOCDEFT
The following auth. object is required for making JCO call to SAP from xMII:
C_AFRU_AWK

What can be achieved through Workflows in SAP? I mean Forms are used for generating invoices, debit and credit notes and proforma for agreements and other similar business applications, Why need of workflow then, when we have Dialog programs, Interactive reports, Data Transfer Techniques like LSMW, BDC?

Might a very big explantion is required to say in detail, but let me say you briefly.
1. When ever you want to automate the process in your organization then you can make use of the workflows.By using workflows you can actulayysend the work of the respective person to his inbox. Work can be any thin like creating a PO, or a Sales order, or approving a employee request. or creating a travle request and sending it for manager approval etc.
2. You can track the status of your request instantly.
3. If your request is not handled in time you can escalate it to other person or initiae a other process.
4. You cannot compare a Module pool programming or LSMW with a very powerful SAP workflows.
5. You can integrate the workflow what evr you mentioned like in your module pool programming by calling or starting a workflow when a end user click on abutton...
6. You can make use of the same BDC recording in your workflow too.
7. A workflow in simple replicating your business process in SAP, which will actually take care from teh point of initiation to till the end of the business process.
Finally workflow is make your work flow with out any obstacles..

I got a used Dual-CPU accelerator labeled in the bottom as a "G-Celerator GCD-1250-S4" [for free!]. No manuals, no CD. Apple/Discussions or Google don't help. Can anybody lead me to more info? Compatibility, jumper-setup, drivers etc. ?

It's possible it's a GigaDesigns CPU upgrade judging from the name:

I'd hazzard a guess they're dual 1.25GHz G4s. Earlier upgrades were specific to certain G4 models depending on the bus speed (series 100 - Sawtooth/Gigabit Ethernet, series 133 - Digital Audio/Quicksilver), whilst later upgrades could auto sense the bus speed and were compatible with Sawtooth thru Quicksilvers.
If it's 7447 based rather than 7455 based you'd need to apply a firmware update so the boot ROM will recognise that particular G4 variant.
I guess you could always try sending them an email to try and get some additional information.

I just ordered two iPhoto books, normally I never have a problem, but this time the black and white photos were entirely washed out, but the color photos were good.
This is the third time I've ordered the SAME book, the first two runs were perfect, but this one is totally unacceptable. My question is: who do I contact about reprinting? They don't make it easy by giving any phone numbers anywhere for customer service. I need these books right away!

POWER SUPPLY info needed for GRAPHICS CARD UPGRADE!!!

I have a HP PAVILION p6631p and ide like to add a graphics card, but I was told I had to upgrade my power supply.
The card I purchased is the SAPPHIRE RADEON R7 260X 2GB and I was told I need a 500watt or higher power supply.
I was looking at the CORSAIR BRAND power supplies and tried emailing them to help me find the right power supply, but they said they needed to know what type of power supplies HP use in this model PC.
I didnt know what to do so im hoping someone can help me out with this information CORSAIR is asking for so they can help select me the right power supply for my PC.
I been searching for answers for weeks. Hopefully someone can help. Thanks.

KJonline, welcome to the forum.
You were told correctly. You will have to upgrade the power supply unit (PSU) for the video card to work properly.
The PSU in the computer is a standard ATX. I suggest measuring the existing PSU and comparing the measurements to the one you choose.
I normally suggest at least 500W, but 600W is better for future upgrades. Here is a PSU that should work for you. It is 650W and is an Enthusiast series. This means that it has all of the power that you will need. It is 5.9" (W) x 3.4" (H) x 6.3" (L).

I replaced my Z10 with a new one. I used the Blackberry link to restore the data to my new device. I configured the mails and applications i normally use.
However i started getting notification in the BB hub for Twitly and some other apps that I cannot guess as only user ID was mentioned in the prompt.
I had stopped using Twitly about 6 months ago and there fore it should not have been in the backup i made last (the one i sued during restore).
Please help.

Perhaps you mean "is there any JavaFX runtime for windows 6.5 Mobile, supportive for Java ME"?
In that case, you could try to dig up a version of JavaFX 1.x which can be deployed on Windows Mobile.
Perhaps one of these (http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javasebusiness/downloads/java-archive-downloads-javafx-419431.html#javafx_sdk-1.3.1-oth-JPR) will allow you to develop JavaFX 1.x applications to run on JavaME targeted to Windows Mobile - but I don't really know. Also note that JavaFX 1.x is effectively dead, incompatible, unsupported technology at this stage, especially in a mobile context. INFO NEEDED for syncing iPhone

SO I recently got myself all mac'ed out this past week. Had the iPhone but picked up an iMac and iPad. Finally got all my contacts calendar and notes all sync'ed. Very happy. Now I have been updated my music library on my iMac so it will become my primary music library. My phone is sync'ed with another computers library. The message I received before confirming my "manage music manually" is. "Your phone is synced with another itunes library. Do you want to erase this iPhone and sync with this itunes library.: Now does that mean everything including my music will be erased?? I dont mind if the music is gone because I have transfered all the files to the new mac. Just worried about the contacts, calander and notes.

Side note: Is there anyway to back up all notes to an external hard drive or somehow make "Notes" its own application?? I use this feature all the time on the phone and would love to keep this super secure.

What that message means is this: By design, the iphone will sync or manually manage itunes content with ONE computer at a time. Any attempt to sync or manually manage itunes content with a second computer will result in ALL itunes content being first erased from your phone & then replaced with the content from the second computer. This is a design feature of the iphone & cannot be overridden. As long as you copy ALL of your itunes content to your new computer, you'll be fine, since you'll be simply replacing what is erased with the identical content.
Before you sync to your new computer though, make sure you have at least one entry in Address Book & iCal. Do the same with notes. This will insure you receive a merge or replace prompt when you do sync. Select merge.

SAP Testing is all about test business process/functionality & outcome using manual/automation testing. For this I find knowledge of some Buniess Process/Functional Module must...but as you are alerady an ABAPer so must be aware of some of them. & Being ABAPer you will be better at White Box Testing. Do not take it as switching to testing & come back to ABAP dev or vice-versa; its just a matter of work responsibilities & your role in the organization. But yes...if you go for automation testing then must have knowledge of QTP or LoadRunner. Search more for term SAP TAO as well.

Information Broadcasting - need for additional Licensing?

One of the key features that is prompting us to upgrade to BW 3.5 later this year is the Information Broadcasting functionality.
This will allow us to easily push reports directly to our user base rather than the traditional method of manually emailing workbooks. However will this generate a need for additional licences? From the testing we have performed so far in order to broadcast a report the receiving user needs to have an account in BW together with the email in the address book.
We will have a considerable number of users whose only interaction with BW will be to receive a report that has been broadcasted. Does anyone have any experience of this same issue?

Hello Michael,
One possibility is to create an email alias that is a distribution list of the users that you want to broadcast to. Create a broadcast setting, in step 2 of the broadcaster wizard specify the distribution list. You shouldn't need to create SAP logon IDs for these users.
