Info on a certain display indicator

Hi. I have a Nokia E71, and there is a display indicator at the top right corner that looks like a mailbox. If I go into the main menu, the indicator changes into an “envelope with a @ sign” on it. I checked the User's Guide, but there is no image/picture that resembles it. What does it mean, and how can I remove it?

I tried both kinds of resets (*#7370# and *#7780#), and the indicator does not disappear. I also tried flashing the firmware, but no change. Also, I setup my email again (Hotmail), and there are no messages in the inbox, outbox, drafts, and sent folder on the phone and server.
The odd thing is that the display indicator is not in the User's Guide. If there were SMS messages, then a simple envelope would appear. If it were an email, then the "@" would show up. If it was a message waiting to be sent in the Outbox folder, then it shows a bracket sign facing upward with an upward arrow on it.
Any clue what the mailbox display indicator represents? What about the envelope with the "@" sign on it?

Vendor Info Rec data not displaying on ME57 list

I need help in getting the Vendor Info Record information to display when in ME57 (Assign and Process Purchase Requisitions). In the past, the Info Rec data has shown up on the list for materials that weu2019ve ordered before, but now they are not.
I have searched both here and out on the internet and have not found anything.
What would cause the information to stop appearing on the list? Is there a configuration setting that may have changed?
We are on ECC 6.0, we are using scope of list A, and we are not using the ALV.

When I'm referring to displaying the info record data, it is in regards to displaying it in the list itself - there are 4 lines of data that can be displayed for each material. On the fourth line is where data from the info rec displays. This is the information that is now missing from the list.

How can i switched off "line item display" indicator in GL account master data? Line item display has been switched on during our configuration days, we wanted to switched it off.

I checked on my system. Did u had open item management active and u want to deactivate the line item management only, then system will not allow u.
IF this is the case, then the other option is create a new GL with required properties & pass a JV to transfer the balance from old GL. Once passed, block the old GL for posting.
I think this is the simplest thing that we can look for.

Non documented display indicator on E51

Hello.
I noticed there is a display indicator on my E51 that doesn't appear on the user guide (Issue 2). It's similar to an two X on crossover. You can see it here:
Any idea what is this display indicator means? It's always there.

Yes, that is indeed the balackberry connect indicator, showing that you are not connected to the server.
if you do not use blackberry, then you can remove the application and the icon will not show up again.

N86 Message Display Indicator is always on

The Message Display Indicator (the little envelope at the top of the Standby and Menu screens) is always blinking. It has been ever since I got the phone. All the messages in my Inbox have been read. Does anyone know how to turn it off?

SIM messages. This has already been discussed in the fora many times. Go to Messaging -> SIM msgs. Clear everything you see there. You can copy the messages to your inbox if you want to, or else skip this step.

On my flex application window I have a DateField control
named 'date_control',which displays a date which is found in
tbl_orders. For your info, tbl_orders has the following fields
(market, trade_date etc). How do I put in my query (in my cfc), the

I'm not familiar with the CF side, but you need to pass the
selectedDate property of the Flex DateField to the cffunction and
the cffunction needs to have a <cfargument> tag. You'll have
to look up the syntax for that in the CF manuals.

Macbook stopped working with certain display

My macbook randomly stopped recognizing with my external display (Niko 19"). The computer does not see the monitor or the monitor does not see the computer even when i tell it to detect displays. The weird part is that it still works with all other displays. My monitor also works with all other laptops I have tried with it (PC, macbooks, and macbook pros). I have tried with different cables/dvi-mini dvi adapters and same situation with all. When it stopped working was when i had my laptop unhooked for a weekend (traveling) the monitor was not touched while i was away which leads me to think software on my laptop. However it would not make sense for it to be a driver because it just stopped working with one certain monitor and not all. Does anybody have any idea what it could be?

It's not impossible that corruption in the driver would be confined to one display and not affect others. You could try throwing away the related plist files. In /Library/Preferences there should be a file com.apple.windowserver.plist that can be trashed. Also, for your home account in /Users/accountname/Library/Preferences/ByHost should be com.apple.windowserver.xxxxxxxx.plist where xxxxxx is a string of letters and numbers and accountname is the name on the primary account. Throw that file away, too. Then restart.
When OS X restarts and finds those files missing from their expected location, it will generate fresh copies with factory default values. Hopefully that will clear up the issue with the Niko monitor not being properly recognized.

MSS- Team- EmpInfo- General Info- EMPSearch is not displaying Search Result

Currently we are using MSS BP 1.3.1 & SAP_MSS 600 SP16...
I am going to the navigation MSS->Team->EmpInfo->General Info->Employee Search [Under Employee Selection Dropdown i am selecting Employee Serach Option], here i am getting the view with lastname, fistname, Personal No:, Even i am using any of the Search Critiria like Serach With LName,FName And PerNo:, No Employee Search result is Displaying Simply No Data Found Message is coming.
To active this EMp search in MSS do i need configure any steps from SPRO. Any Steps from Portal Front.
To display Team Calender , i configured IGS, what else i need to do to get Team Calender iview in Team Under MSS.
Please list out the steps and provide some help to fix the issue.

I checked in the SPRO--> Integration with other mySAP Components -->Business Packages > Manager self Services (mySAPERP)>Object and Data Provider--> Define Object Selection / Group Parameters for OBJ Search / Define Rules for Object Selection..
Here we need to create any rule and pass those Group Parameters into that???
I told my ABAPers to debug those two methods, apart from that any HR side SPRO Configuration pending?
Please reply me and list out the Steps, Where and What exact config need to do from SPRO apart from that Debugging????

How do you clear the current song info from the top display window?

When you first start iTunes and select Music, the display window at the top just has an Apple logo in it. Once you start playing a song, the song info shows up there. I can stop the song using Command-period (or the space bar), but the info stays there. Is there a keyboard shortcut or something simple to return the window to just the Apple logo? I cleared it inadvertently when I selected Radio, but I don't know if that will always work and I'm guessing there's a formal way to do it. (Selecting Radio while a tune is playing won't clear the info, of course.)

Album art is visible in "info" but won't display in "album"

I have itunes tracks that display the album art when I "get info". All tracks in the album have the same album art. The .jpg file is located in the folder with the music files, but wont' display along with the album name when in "album" display mode.
Another disc (disc 1 of 2) displays the same album art OK.
What determines when this album art is displayed or not?

Any artwork files with the music files will do nothing for iTunes. Unless you have a specific reason for putting it there, I'd get rid of it as iTunes will not use it and you will simply have extra, unused files.
When iTunes gets the artwork, it stores it in it's own database. When you add artwork to the file yourself (in the Get info - Artwork pane) , it is stored in the ID3 tags and is part of the actual song file.
Go to iTunes menu View > Alway show artwork and see if this fixes it.

Updating Contact info from Mail not displaying in Address Book

So I was updating an existing contact from Mail using the data detector feature. Address Book was already running in background. I clicked on the data detector and said "update existing contact". I pick the contact that I want to update. When I go to address book to see if the contact was updated, it "appears" that it hadn't updated. However, if I exit address book and restart the data does appear. So it get's in the database but doesn't display until exit and restart.

After several days of trying, i finally seem to have it working. What i ended up doing was exporting my backing up my addresses on another computer that still had Snow Leopard on it. I exported both as .abbu and vCards. I was then able to get the vCards into iCloud.
Problem was, i could not get them to import into Contacts in Mavericks. I could not even add the iCloud account to contacts. It would let me sign in and choose contacts, but iCloud never showed up in the accounts nor did the contacts show up in Contacts.
After trying repairing permissions and resetting the PRAM to no avail, it occured to me to delete the Address Book folder from /Library/Application Support
Once that folder was gone, i was able to add iCloud to the accounts and import the .abbu file from Address Book.
So if you did not export your Address Book contacts before updating, you will need a second computer that is still running Snow Leopard to export the contacts. Then you can delete the Address Book folder from the Library and you should then be able to import the contacts into Contacts on Mavericks.

How do I force a certain display resolution?

I've had this nagging issue with my Mac Mini both under Tiger and now Leopard where the display resolution is not quite right. I have it connected to a lower end Polaroid FLM-2601 LCD TV and use it function in my entertainment center as a home theater computer.
Now the problem is that the panel supports 1280x768@75Hz via VGA and 1360x768@75Hz via DVI. Now I can attach a monitor and get the resolution I am looking for via either VGA or DVI. Then I unplug the monitor and connect it to the TV and it works just fine at the supported resolutions. However, as soon as the Mac Mini sleeps or restarts it goes to odd resolutions or 74Hz and no picture is displayed. I tried this with an old PowerMac G4 and it just works right. The video chipset or driver in the Mac Mini seems to be the issue with this TV.
Is there some way to override Mac OS X and force a display resolution? Otherwise I end up with a very notchy experience.

I've had some luck with DisplayConfigX - google it. I've only ever used it under Tiger, though, not Leopard. Using it to drive a Vizio plasma screen at a resolution not typically shown under the Monitors control panel in Tiger.

I have downloaded itunes 10.3.1.55, when my device connects and syncs, the Summary, Info and Music tabs display, but no text is shown.

I can see buttons, but no text is on the box, so I don't remember what it does. I can see check boxes, but no text.

Don't reset your phone. Resetting will return the phone to factory settings and you will loose everything. Spend some time working toward a fix.
You might want to try a different USB cable. It is possible that your cable conincedentally went bad. I have had this problem before - even cables that will chrage the phone sometimes stop working for data purposes.

ITunes Bug: Get Info on a movie displays actors instead of director

Bug in iTunes 12.0.1
Get info on any movie in iTunes and where it shows "Director" it will list the Actors instead, not the director at all.

This issue has been happening to me for years as well doing the same exact thing. Import an album and want to change info in bulk such as the number of discs. Each time one track is left out normally towards the middle of the album.
Any solution for this would be much appreciated as it is just frustrating for this to continue after so many years.
