Info on the ERP_LORD function group required

Hello,
Can anyone provide me a detailed knowledge on the function modules in ERP_LORD function group.
These function modules have something to do with data transfer between ECC systems and CRM.
  Thanks a lot.

No ERP_LORD.
If you can help me with SLS_LORD also, that would be good.
Thanks.

  • When is the entire function group added to the transport request

When you modify a functionmodule in a function group, only the object of the functionmodule( LIMU FUNC) is added to the transport request.
When you modify an include of the function group, the reportsource of that include (LIMU REPS) is added to the transport request.
But under some circumstances the entire function group is added to the transport request (R3TR FUGR).
Can somebody clarify under what circumstances the entire Function Group is added to the transport request?

I was actually looking for the reason why I would find R3TR FUGR objects in requests for existing function groups.
What I found out is that R3TR FUGR is added to the request when :
    - the function group is created
    - a function is renamed
    - the function group is deleted
    - you choose : Write Transport Entry, in the context menu of the Function group.
The <b>actual problem </b> was that in our upgraded system (<b>ERP2005</b>) we had a transport containing the function group (R3TR FUGR) and <b>we thought</b> none of these actions had been taken.  After talking to the developer in question, I found out he did rename a function module, so I have my solution.
But thanks everybody for the insight.

  • Write the ABAP Function Group Problem

    Dear All,
I have some question in the ABAP Object.
The function group had some screen logic here.
if i run the function module under this function group, screen logic will be trigger or not?
    Regards,
    Luke

    hi ,
ofcourse  Screen logic will trigger  based on the  FM in which this screen has been called.

  • What is the difference between function groups and Object Orientation

    Hello all
I have read about this on the help.sap.com site, I still do not understand it completely, can some one explain me with  a simple example please ? (Not the increment counter example please !).
    Thanks a ton.
    Rgds
    Sameer

    Hello Sameer
When you call a module of a function group for the first time in your program then the entire function group is loaded. However, this can happen only once within your report and all global variables within the function group will have the same values all the time (except they are manipulated via fm's).
In contrast, you can create as many instances of the same class as you want and all of them can have different global attributes. And all these instances are independent of each other.
On the other hand, if fm_A changes global attributes of the function group and fm_B reads these attributes then fm_B read the changed values.
    Or in other words:
Function Group = can be instantiated only ONCE
Class = can be instantiated unlimited

  • Function Moudule not showing under the Function Group in SE80

    Hi guys
I  transported a couple of newly developed Function Modules to the R3Q ( Quality System) under an exsitng Function Group. the FM are all transported perfectly and the report is also working but in SE80 where u can see a function group and all its related objects i dont see the name of my newly developed FM. Why is that?
I tried transporting my  Function Group etc.. but still i am not able to see my new FM's.
When i go to my FM's attributes tab, it shows its under the right function Group. but only in SE80 its not showing up.
    Any ideas y ?

    Hi Adnan;
Are you sure you haven't dont release second or more requests for FG?
If you have more requests, your FG may hasn't be last FM list.
Yo can check  below include in SAPLZ<FG> function pool.
      INCLUDE LZ<FG>UXX.                       " Function Modules
Are you seeing last FM list?

  • Parameter Transaction Code for Function Group based Tcodes

    Hi,
I have created a function group for a single screen 1000 having only 2 screen fields with input/output enabled, one of them being a flag field. Have also created a Transaction code to point to the screen 1000.
My requirement is to create another Tcode(Parameter Transaction Code) with the previous created Tcode and pass default values to the screens flag element. I have entered the below :
    Name of the screen field
    Value
    FLAG
    X
Still i am not able to get the value of FLAG as X when i debug the program. I am confused what mistake have i done. It will be helpful if someone can guide on this. I know its simple and i believe me i have tried all possible ways to check my mistake. Couldn't find any.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Vadid Valiulla

Yes, Basically i am calling TCODE1 from TCODE2.
I am using the same Function Group and yes a global variable is defined for the screen fields.
I actually do not want to go by the Parameter ID method. But still i can use it if that is easier. Currently there is no Parameter ID for the screen field as i wanted the Tcode2 also to be called independently.
    Thanks for your time Prakash

  • Copying of function group

    Hi all,
Please help me in this issue.
when i copy function group , i am ablw to copy the function modules but i am not able to copy the Inlcudes in the function group
can anyone please explain how can i copy the includes also
    Thnaks in Advance
    K reddy

    Hi k reddy,
it may depend on the release you use. I remember it was not that easy in the past as already described.
Note that copying functions as well as includes you always need new names for copied objects.
Now, if it is not too much work: Go to main program, see the INLUDE statements for the 'old' function groups includes. Change to new names and copy the includes manually to new name.
    Next time it may work.
Or delete new function gropu and start all over again.
Note: If any inluce includes other include statements: Those inludes you must copy and rename manually (if changes are required).

    Clemens

  • Function Group-User-exit

I have created a user exit under the function group XAUF and the user exit is coded under zxaufu01. Now if I want the user-exit to act effect on my object , do I have to trasport only the particular user-exit zxaufu01 (code) or do ihave to transport the entire function group or something else for it to take effect in QAT . Because i just transported my coding there and it dosent seem to work in QAT , whereas its working perfectly in DEV . Kindly sugest , is it the problem of the transport or something else.
    Thanks

Thanks everyone I was able to get the result in QAT now when I transported the Project .
I have another doubt related to this itself if some can be provided will be very useful.
This user-exit that I have created validates the internal order for particular two kinds of order types . This validation takes place through transaction KO02 and KO04. But in KO04 if I start with an order , I choose and oder theer and click o0n it then it shows up in dispaly mode , now if I want to change the external order number there , i click on the change button , at this point , if the external order number for that particualr ordr is emplty then it dosent goes in change mode and gives a message , enter the external order number , how can I enter the ex. order number column if its in display mode and it dosent change open for entry, so I have to go to tarnsaction ko02 and change it there and then only I can view or change it eher as per requirement, how do I make it open for entry even in KO04 if a particular order has exrernal order field empty.
    Thanks

  • Error while transporting a Function Group!

    HI ABAPers!
We have created many function modules in a single function group. While we are trying to transport the function group we succeeded in releasing the function group from the development server to the quality system. But while we are trying to import the same function group from the quality system, it is throwing an error 'FUNCTION GROUP NOT FIT IN SIZE'. what might be the reason for this behaviour and what would be the remedy? Please help this out and points would be awareded for the solutions.
    Regards,
    Kiran

    Hi,
just an hint (i don't know if it will help u).
Try in se37 trx , menu "Utilities", shoul be "Repair function group" (o something like that).
Sometimes u have to do also with standard FM.
In second step, use unconditional mode -126 in your transport (call to your system admin ho to do that).
    Hope it helps
    Bye

  • Function group in tablenaintenance generator.

    hi experts,
can anybody please tell me why we create a function group
while creating a table maintenance generator?
what is the utility of creating a function group.
    regards
    pankaj

    Function Groups
Function groups are containers for function modules. You cannot execute a function group. When you call a function module, the system loads the whole of its function group into the internal session of the calling program (if it has not already been loaded). For further information, refer to Organization of External Procedure Calls.
The following diagram shows the structure of a function group: The name of a function group, fgrpcan be up to 26 characters long. This is used by the system to create the components of the group (main program and corresponding include programs). When you create a function group or function module in the Function Builder , the main program and include programs are generated automatically.
The main program SAPLfgrp contains nothing but the INCLUDE statements for the following include programs:
&#65399; LfgrpTOP. This contains the FUNCTION-POOL statement (equivalent for a function group of the REPORT or PROGRAMstatement) and global data declarations for the entire function group.
&#65399; LfgrpUXX. This contains further INCLUDEstatements for the include programs LfgrpU01, LfgrpU02,... These includes contain the actual function modules.
&#65399; The include programs LfgrpF01, LfgrpF02,... can contain the coding of subroutines that can be called with internal subroutine calls from all function modules of the group.
The creation of these INCLUDE programs is supported from the ABAP Workbench by forward navigation (for example creation of a subroutine include by double clicking on the name of a subroutine in a PERFORM statement within a function module).
You cannot declare a COMMON PART in a function group. Function groups have their own table work areas (TABLES). Function groups encapsulate data. In this respect, they are a precursor of ABAP Objects (see From Function Groups to Objects ).
All of the function modules in a function group can access the global data of the group. For this reason, you should place all function modules that use the same data in a single function group. For example, if you have a set of function modules that all use the same internal table, you could place them in a function group containing the table definition in its global data.
Function groups, like executable programs and module pools, can contain screens (selection screens and lists) as components. User input is processed either in dialog modules or in the corresponding event blocks in the main program of the function group. There are special include programs in which you can write this code. In this way, you can use function groups to encapsulate single screens or screen sequences.
In SAP, it is a function group - instead of function - that is loaded into active memory.
Function ( or function module ) is the one that you call from the program to do things.
A function group contains functionally related function modules, global variables and procedures .
To display / edit function module you use SE37,
To display / edit function group you use SE80 .
    Reward if found helpful,
    regards

  • Table Maintenance Generator - Function Group regeneration issue

I have table maintenance genertor in a function group that contains lot of tables . I by mistable regenerate the whole function group using table mainteance generator.
Now i want to check which of the programs changed during the regenerator. I am looking for some sap table that contains all the changed objects and their transport number.
Please rememebr i have still not released the transport,
I have checked E071, E071, VRSD . That contains the entry for function group and does not contains the programs inside the function group changed
    Thanks

    Thomas,
Thanks for your reply. Currently I don't want to release the transport.
Is there any table i can check which are programs changed without releasing transport

  • Error in creating function group

    Hi
In my z function group, do i need to declare all the parameters used in function modules explicitly in any top include?.it was not declared as such in the standard function group from which i copied .

    Hello ,
Sometimes when u copy any standard function group into ZFuntion group u will get some systax errors saynig some varaible is not defined .
    then
    goto SE37
Enter the fucntion module  and get into function bulinder
select EDIT Menu option and Interface Submenu option inthat u will find GLOBALIZE PARAMETERS and LOCALIZE PARAMETERS  Just do that operation u will be free of errors.

  • Function group cannot be processed

    Hi All,
I have added a new field to an already created custom table. when trying to regenerate the table maintenance generator i get an information message "*function group cannot be processed*". The reason being that the function group is inactive. I tried to activate that function group. But then found that there were some errors because of which i couldn't activate it . it showed that an Include report was not found. That include is reserved for function group includes. What do i do to solve this problem.
Edited by: Herwin Wilmet Dsouza on Dec 10, 2009 7:58 AM

    Hi,
The best thing to do when you add a custom field in the custom table is to degenerate the TMG, the View and then activate the Table using SE14 (Database utility) and then from the View again use the TMG to generate the Maintainance Views.
Yes, this is a lengthy process but at least this is good as it will ensure that the Function Group is activated and the views will work properly.
Note : If you have added your own logic or code in the TMG for any additional functionality you need to take a backup of the code or all the relevant objects (e.g. Include Reports, etc) as once you do a new generation of the same function groups this will be over written.
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks,
    Samantak.

  • Error : Syntax check form not found in function group program

    Hi All,
I have a function group ZMRMK. In its source code the function-pool SAPLZMRMK contains error
    "Form XYZ does not exits"
There is an  include in SAPLZMRMK named  lzmrmkf01 : in this include there is an include lmrmkf02 . Here XYZ is called->
    perform XYZ.
The form XYZ is written in LMRMKF16 and this include is  in function pool SAPLMRMK.
Kindly suggest how to remove this error.

    Hi
    Yes you do
But It seems many standard includes are missing in the Z-function group: perhaps this function group was created in another system or in another release?
It's strange many includes are missing, this is a typical upgrade problem:
A standard function group was copied, but only some components were copied, so the function group use Z-include and standard ones, now in the new system "old standard includes" calls new routine defined in new include, used in standard function group, but not in Z-function group.
If it's so, you need to put the missing include manually
