rather than someone entering new validity periods and prices for several materials one by one is there a transaction i'm missing? i expected it to be in memassin. either for revisions or creations of new periods. maybe eCATT is an alternative? curious to see how others solved this.

Info record scales price bug

Hi all
when i create a po and save, then change info record scales price (price is more than po price), after change info record,
user want to change the po Delivery Date, user use me22n change the po Delivery Date and save it. and find the po price is cath the changed info record price , so the po price is error. i send a messsage to sap, but sap said it is sap system behavior and not to change. i want to know any to have the same thing.

In info record,close old price by setting to validity date as for ex.31.01.2010,
new price by setting From validity date as 01.02.2010 to validity date 31.12.9999,
purchase order is created on 02.02.2010,In po line item correct price(new) is flowing as per info record,
but in conditions tab of purchase order both prices are flowing in condition type PB00,
My question is What is reason for both prices will be flowing in condition type ?

I have checked transaction MEMASSIN but there is no field for price in this txn.

Yes it is Possible. But, not thru any Mass Transactions.
You need to Perform a BDC for ME12. Go to ME12 and Select Conditions Tab and Select the Gross Price Condition and Click on remove Line and Create New Gross Condition with New Price and Per Unit.

Hi,
You also have Tcode MASS for more mass modification.
Use object type BUS1001 and generate. Then you have to know the tables where the field you want to modify is.
Pick the fields in their folder and generate again. Then in selection pick the materials or use other selection criteria. Generate again.
In the upper side of the screen insert the data and click the button 'carry out a mass change'.

PO creation date and info record validy price relation.

Dear Gurus,
While creating a PO, when I change the PO creation date, price in the PO will change according to the validity start date based on the PIR.I believe thats the logic right? I have a scenario, I'm facing a problem that when I change the PO creation date between 2011 and 2012 period, the price of the PO at times will not change according to the PIR validity start date. Is there any OSS note related to this issue or I'm missing out any logic?

HI,
By default, the pricing conditions are dependant on PO document date.
But there are different options like, whether you want your pricing to be dependant on Delivery date of PO item or current date (sy-datum) or GR date etc.
This filed is available in 2 places: 1. Vendor master>purchasing data> Pricing Date Control
2. Info record>Purchasing data> Pr.Date Cat.
Check in these 2 places and then simulate pricing by changing the corresponding date.

Quality info record mass creation

Hello Guys,
Can we able to do mass creation of quality info records thru QI06 ? I want to load bunch of QIR as a manual load.
I tried using qi06 in add option but I am getting a warning message that QIR is not changed.
Is that only we can change it ? Pls help.

You can use this program to make mass changes to quality information records. When adding records, you can enter one or several materials. As a rule, the only materials used for processing are those for which QM in Procurement is active in the material master and a vendor release or quality assurance agreement is required by the control key.
You can also select the materials using the material class.
You can enter one or more vendors, for whom a quality information record is to be created.
Using the selection criterion 'Only for purchasing info records', you can create quality information records for all possible material-vendor combinations, provided that purchasing information records already exist for these combinations.
That means first of all you must enter Procurement key in QM view of that Material
Second if you select multiple vendor for a material or maultiple materials with single Vendor.
if you execute this then You will get the list of all possible vendor material combination for which QI can be maintained.
by selecting line you can save them.
The quality info records printed in the list have a traffic light indicator which denotes the following:
Green light: - All data is O.K.
Yellow light: - Ordered quantity is greater than released quantity
        - There is no quality assurance agreement
        - Lock function is active
        - Validity period of QM system has expired
Red light:    - Deletion flag is set
You can select the "Set deletion flag"
function using the menu

Why Info record net price is 0

info record price is 20hkd/1pc in the past peried. as the price change, i have create a new price in current peried and save it(price is not 0). when i use me12 again and find organazation data view price is 0. and click the condion but the price is not 0,

Hi,
The price in the info record (EINE-NETPR) does not always agree with the price that is taken from the info record when creating a purchase order. The most common cause is that the condition was updated by condition maintenance. This will not translate into a direct update of the net price in ME13 (display info record). If you want the net price to show exactly as the info record condition, then schedule report/program RM06INP0. This will do an update routine and synchronize prices.

hi,
you can update all the condition records for price using a BDC program. You need to take the help of an abaper to do this. Give him the table name and field name where the condition records are stored for the material selling price, and change it with the new value.

B'cos the Mass changing the price is so relevent..
It is generally useful for update the data like update Storage location..Deletion indicator, GR, IV update like that..

MM - Difference between Info Record and Price/Discounts/Others Conditions

Hi All,
In MM we use transactions like ME11 to maintain info record. In such transactions we can handle condition types PB00, RA00, FRB1, etc to specify price, discount and freight cost.
But we also can use transactions like MEK1 to create conditions, or use transactions like MEKE to create discount conditions by vendor.
What's the difference between ME11 and MEKE?

ME11 is for vendor/material/purch org combination
whereas MEKE is for vendor/purch organisation only. So it will be applicable for all materials supplied by the vendor.

En masse Price changes

Hello,
1. Is there a way to change prices via some kind of upload for some thousands of conditions together for a particular access sequence?
2. Our pricing is based on USD on the basis of a set exchange rate which is different than what we define in the SAP tables in FI. Yearly, we set this exchange rate and now it needs to be reset again, thereby necessitating the changes to prices in all other currencies too - GBP, CAD, EUR etc. What is the best way to set up this scenario so that yearly by just changing the US exchange rate, we can get all the corresponding changes done automatically? Some kind of a custom table perhaps but how to read it?

I think you have to develop a program that creates a file accomplishing with report RV14BTCI record structure: this report is the SAP standard for condition record loading in R/3.
But if the prices remain the same and only the exchange rate is different, I would try to create a custom exchange rate and use it in the sales document to determine the prices in the document currency. This way you don't have to create new condition records every year, only update the exchange rate and maintain your local currency price list.

Price changes in Consignment info records

Is there any standard transaction to change the prices in the purchasing info records site (plant) wise on daily basis? e.g. 5000 info records are there and i want to change the prices in the info records site wise.
I don't know the rate of the material. I come to know daily morning e.g gold rates changes everyday.
I can change the rates in one shot through MEKP with condition type PB00. But gold rates differs from place to place e.g. Delhi to Mumbai. So i need to change price site wise according to bombay stock exchange or national stock exchange rates. Basic idea is to change the prices site(plant) wise.
Please suggest.
