Hi,
I'm a Flex developer and intrested in building a chatroulette type of application. Currently, I have two paths:
1 - I use Adobe Stratus
2 - I use Adobe LCCS.
I'm interested in shared environment. I have the following queries and would request the experts sitting here to guide me so I can move effectively. Here my questions are:
1 - How much bandwidth is available on FMS in LCCS?
2 - How much bandwidth is taken per audio/video stream?
3 - How much processing power is required per audio/video stream?
4 - How much power your server has in terms of CPU and memory?
5 - How much audio/video streams your server can handle at one time instance?
6 - In a shared environment, I know that logical partition is provided to each user. So, every user shares the same physical asset but logically separate. Is the bandwidth also divided logically for each user or it's shared among other users?
7 - How much per audio/video stream will cost per minute?
8 - Whats your up time percentage?
9 - If I have any inquiry, how you can help me?
10 - Is there any sales agreement I need to sign up?
11 - Does LCCS provide LiveChat support?

Secondary IP addresses can be used in a variety of situations. The following are the most common applications:
There may not be enough host addresses for a particular network segment. For example, your subnetting allows up to 254 hosts per logical subnet, but on one physical subnet you need 300 host addresses. Using secondary IP addresses on the routers or access servers allows you to have two logical subnets using one physical subnet.
Many older networks were built using Level 2 bridges. The judicious use of secondary addresses can aid in the transition to a subnetted, router-based network. Routers on an older, bridged segment can be easily made aware that many subnets are on that segment.
Two subnets of a single network might otherwise be separated by another network. This situation is not permitted when subnets are in use. In these instances, the first network is extended, or layered on top of the second network using secondary addresses

bold Assumption for this solution We are using ADS in the portal.bold
You need to check ADS config correctly.
As per my understanding 1.Web AS Java in R3 and 2.normal Web AS server are seprate urls.
There is confusion about these url and ads_user.
ADS_USER in R3 password must match with ADS_USER in Visual administrator.
You need to refer ADS guide step by step with other currently correctly ADS running with adobe Interactive forms.
This will slove this problem.

I recently started studying and working on EP and when referring to versions of NWDS, EP and NWDI.. I here different words like SPs as well as ERP2004 ERP2004S 2005 etc etc..
Can some one pls. tell me where can i find the information about what is the starting versions of all these and what is the latest version availble now..
I know this is not going to be a 2 line answer..but I still request you to update me on these things..
1. EP versions (incl SPs)?.
2. ERP2004 +++++?
3. NWDS and NWDI SPs or versions..

EP6 - From SP3 installed on top of SAP Application server 6.40
Up to now has 21 SPs
A part of NW2004
EP7 - Installed on top of SAP Application server 7.00
Up to now has 13 SPs
A part of NW2004s
NWDS - NetWeaver Developer Studio.
The version should be the same as the Web Application Server/Portal
NWDI - NetWeaver Developer infrastructure
The version should be the same as the Web Application Server/Portal
ERP2004 - From a portal point of view this is the backend (you get/set data from/to the ERP system).
I think that from 2005 it's called mySap ERP.

I don't know about ideal, but I'm using an Intel Core2 Duo, 3.16ghz, 3.46gb ram, winXP Pro SP3. This is an HP branded PC, it uses the onboard Q45 video.
I rarely have any problems that I haven't caused myself (having too many applications open while I work).

It is found in C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Premiere CS3\
I can get to the directory line and see the .exe file but I do not remember how to run it !

Agreed! Much as I love Firefox, I hate it's lack of a splash screen. Every single program on the planet that has a GUI should have as it's very first action when started to show a small splash screen, just so the user knows the command to start has been accepted. This action should be set to High Priority, interrupting all other actions such as virus scans, other programs closing, downloads, file copies, etc. Once the Splash loads, the rest of the start-up process can return to Normal priority and load in it's proper OS managed sequence.
I can't tell you how many times I've accidentally ended up with three or four browser windows open because there's no indication that anything is happening.

Interactive Forms based on Adobe software is SAP's new solution for forms development. Its first release has the focus on interactive use of forms. High-volume printing is supported in principle, but - being a new solution - the performance has not yet reached the same level as Smart Forms or SAPscript, two established solutions that had years to grow. To get an overview idea about Adobe forms ,
Using SFP Tcode , first you need to create a interface . in interface you can declare the import and export parameters and also the declaration part, coding etc : This is nothing but similar to Function module interface.
And now we have to create the Form which is interactive. Create the form and enter the interface name which you have created in first step, so that the parameters , declarations of fields etc : will be copied and available in the form layout. So that you can drag and drop these declared fields ( dclared fields of interface ) to the layout.
Create the context and layout in the form.
The layout generated can be previewed and saved as PDF output.
Now we need to integrate the driver program and the PDF form to get the final output as per the requirement.
On activating and executing the form you will get a function module name just similar to smartforms.
The driver program needs to call this FM.

How can I lodge a complaint about Adobe Flash Player? When I updated Adobe Flash Player this morning it also installed a McAfee scanning software without any warning or notification. I find this totally unacceptable. But I cannot find any information on the Adobe website that will allow me to lodge my complaint. Which I also find totally unacceptable.

This is a an old complaint. I would have thoughtas much bad karma as Adobe has received would have stopped this practice espcially since it found that many time McAfeee either gets protection signatures wrong or cause more problems than it fixes.

At one time a disgruntled Adobe products user created a FaceBook or twitter page. And many in past have claimed when there complaints got ignored or laughed at by Adobe. They suddenly got action whe airring their complaint on this FaceBook or Twitter page.

What you're calling "Adobe Forms" is really Adobe FormsCentral. The FormsCentral service is indeed going away soon, but you can always create PDF forms (AcroForms) with Acrobat. Acrobat also comes with a desktop version of the FormsCentral desiger, which can be used to create simple PDF forms that can be used apart from the FormsCentral service. So you'll no longer be able to create and host web forms with the FormsCentral service or use PDF forms with the FormsCentral service. You will be able to create standalone PDF forms with Acrobat and simple PDF forms with the FormsCentral desktop app.

Can I add my plugin to the "About Adobe Plug-Ins" dialog box?

I have created my own Adobe plug-in (.api file), placed it in the plug-ins folder and it's loading and working as expected :-)
However, when I launch Acrobat and navigate to Help > ''About Adobe Plug-Ins", my plug-in is not listed.
Is it possible to have my plug-in listed in the 'About Adobe Plug-Ins' dialog box? Or is this reserved for Adobe certified plug-ins only?

Why is Windows Defender telling me to give information about Adobe?

It's telling me to send information to Windows about Adobe after installing a Reader update. What is this?

I am on our enterprise configuration management team and we are using BMC Blade Logic for Client Automation (Marimba) to deliver the msi. The MSI that we are installing is AdbeRdr11002_en_US. Marimba simply delivers the MSI and triggers an install.
Reader XI installs just fine, but Windows Defender then pop ups the "submit this to Microsoft" type message which leads me to believe that Adobe just needs to submit information to Microsoft to ignore their product in the defender scan. I have tried going down the MS support route but so far its been unsuccessful.

This is pretty surprising and wierd that even Reader 10.1.1 is crashing on your system. It works pefectly for me.
Would it be possible for you to get the crash dump, and upload it, so that I can have a look at the same.
Download PROCDUMP from <http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/dd996900.aspx> and extract it to a folder, say, c:\temp\procdump.exe
Open cmd prompt and type "cd c:\temp".
Launch the browser and open the PDF.
Open task manager, sort processed by name. Two AcroRd32.exe instances should have been launched. Note the PID (a small integer like 5588) corresponding to the AcroRd32.exe with the higher memory usage; this is the process that must be crashing. Note this PID.
On the cmd window, type "procdump -e -ma 5588 c:\temp\01.dmp" (replace 5588 with the actual PID of the process noted in Step 4). Procdump will now wait for the aoolication to crash. If it throws a EULA, accept it.
Perform your steps to cause the crash.
Procdump will have created a dump file at "c:\temp\01.dmp". Zip it up (since it will be 100s of MBs otherwise) and share with me.
