Info required on Time details like Regular Hours, Overtime

Hi Guys,
Can anyone give me the details about how to identify the number of regular hours worked, overtime details of an employee over a period of time?
Regards,
Nithya.

Hi,
You need to get regular working hours from IT0007.
For overtime, goto IT2005.
Absences are there in IT2001 which should be deducted from regular working hours.

  • Is it normal that my iPod is fully charged in like 1 hour???

Hello, I bought an iPod touch 5th generation in november, it's working great for me, but there's something weird, i have to charge it everyday because I use fb, safari, youtube and some more apps but I noticed that the ipod charges in little time, for like 1 hour and a half and it looks fully charged, is it normal??? I'm scared the battery is damaged or something, i wanted to see how much time it can stand with just music but I can't stop using it for other stuff. Please help.

The indicator is not that accurate. The specs say:
Charging times: Fast charge in about 2 hours (80% capacity), full charge in about 4 hours
If you are getting satisfactory life out of a full charge I would not be concerned

  • Technical details required in TIME mgmt

    Hi,

  • Has anyone had extremely long download times for music, like an hour for a single song?

Has anyone had extremely slow downloads of songs, like an hour?

    UPDATE
It appears that though the progress bar looks stuck on "Step 1: Gathering info..." that Match is going through my library and adding "Purchased" songs first. I have 2,000+ purchased songs and after enabling Match on my laptop I currently have 1152 songs available to me in the cloud. SO, I am happy to report that it appears to be functioning, just happening way slower than I anticipated. As Michael posted above..patience is definitely a virtue in this case! It's been way over 12 hours, but again, happy to report it is working.

  • Unable to fetch Time Category wise total hours in Fast Formula

    Hi,
In OTL, we want to validate the total hours entered by user before they save the record. User can chose multiple Timecard info against a day like
    Day1             Hours
    Overtime1      5
    Overtime2      2
    Rest              6
Now we want to validate this 7 hours(Total hours of Overtime1 and Overtime2 only) should not exceed 12 hours. This is the requirement.
So for this we created a Time Category which includes both Overtime1 and 2 and tried using the standard formula "HXC_TIME_CATEGORY_COMPARISON" which does the validation but this was also not working as per the need.
Can anyone help us if you came across the same scenario earlier.
    Thanks,
    Manju

it is very urgent reuirement, please help. Thanks in Advance!
    Best Regards,
    Sunil Kumar.B

    Hi Sunil,
if you are working with BW 3.5 you can look in table RSDDSTAT in BI 7.0 it is RSDDSTAT_OLAP.
Make a selection on the info cube and the OLAP Statistic Object which is the query ID and execute. Then you should see how often the query was executed, by whom and which date/time.
in field Query ID you type in the tech name of the query

  • I switch on my mac book pro and all i get is the apple logo and below a loading wheel , but its stuck there for like an hour !!! help??

i switch on my mac book pro and all i get is the apple logo and below a loading wheel , but its stuck there for like an hour !!! help??

Take each of these steps that you haven't already tried. Stop when the problem is resolved.
    Step 1
The first step in dealing with a boot failure is to secure your data. If you want to preserve the contents of the startup drive, and you don't already have at least one current backup, you must try to back up now, before you do anything else. It may or may not be possible. If you don't care about the data that has changed since your last backup, you can skip this step.
There are several ways to back up a Mac that is unable to boot. You need an external hard drive to hold the backup data.
         a. Boot into the Recovery partition, or from a local Time Machine backup volume (option key at startup.) When the OS X Utilities screen appears, launch Disk Utility and follow the instructions in this support article, under “Instructions for backing up to an external hard disk via Disk Utility.”
    b. If you have access to a working Mac, and both it and the non-working Mac have FireWire or Thunderbolt ports, boot the non-working Mac in target disk mode. Use the working Mac to copy the data to another drive. This technique won't work with USB, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, or Bluetooth.
    c. If the internal drive of the non-working Mac is user-replaceable, remove it and mount it in an external enclosure or drive dock. Use another Mac to copy the data.
    Step 2
If the startup process stops at a blank gray screen with no Apple logo or spinning "daisy wheel," then the startup volume may be full. If you had previously seen warnings of low disk space, this is almost certainly the case. The easiest way to deal with the problem is to boot from an external drive, or else to use either of the techniques in Steps 1b and 1c to mount the internal drive and delete some files. According to Apple documentation, you need at least 9 GB of available space on the startup volume (as shown in the Finder Info window) for normal operation.
    Step 3
Sometimes a boot failure can be resolved by resetting the NVRAM.
    Step 4
If you use a wireless keyboard, trackpad, or mouse, replace or recharge the batteries. The battery level shown in the Bluetooth menu item may not be accurate.
    Step 5
If there's a built-in optical drive, a disc may be stuck in it. Follow these instructions to eject it.
    Step 6
Press and hold the power button until the power shuts off. Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed to boot, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Use a different keyboard and/or mouse, if those devices are wired. If you can boot now, one of the devices you disconnected, or a combination of them, is causing the problem. Finding out which one is a process of elimination.
    Step 7
If you've booted from an external storage device, make sure that your internal boot volume is selected in the Startup Disk pane of System Preferences.
Boot in safe mode. Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Post for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including wireless networking on certain Macs.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
When you boot in safe mode, it's normal to see a dark gray progress bar on a light gray background. If the progress bar gets stuck for more than a few minutes, or if the system shuts down automatically while the progress bar is displayed, your boot volume is corrupt and the drive is probably malfunctioning. In that case, go to Step 6.
If you can boot and log in now, empty the Trash, and then open the Finder Info window on your boot volume ("Macintosh HD," unless you gave it a different name.) Check that you have at least 9 GB of available space, as shown in the window. If you don't, copy as many files as necessary to another volume (not another folder on the same volume) and delete the originals. Deletion isn't complete until you empty the Trash again. Do this until the available space is more than 9 GB. Then reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode.)
If the boot process hangs again, the problem is likely caused by a third-party system modification that you installed. Post for further instructions.
    Step 8
Launch Disk Utility in Recovery mode (see Step 1.) Select your startup volume, then run Repair Disk. If any problems are found, repeat until clear. If Disk Utility reports that the volume can't be repaired, the drive has malfunctioned and should be replaced. You might choose to tolerate one such malfunction in the life of the drive. In that case, erase the volume and restore from a backup. If the same thing ever happens again, replace the drive immediately.
This is one of the rare situations in which you should also run Repair Permissions, ignoring the false warnings it may produce. Look for the line "Permissions repair complete" at the end of the output. Then reboot as usual.
    Step 9
Reinstall the OS. If your Mac was upgraded from an older version of OS X, you’ll need the Apple ID and password you used to upgrade.
    Step 10
Repeat Step 9, but this time erase the boot volume in Disk Utility before installing. The system should automatically reboot into the Setup Assistant. Follow the prompts to transfer your data from a Time Machine or other backup.
    Step 11
This step applies only to models that have a logic-board ("PRAM") battery: all Mac Pro's and some others (not current models.) Both desktop and portable Macs used to have such a battery. The logic-board battery, if there is one, is separate from the main battery of a portable. A dead logic-board battery can cause a boot failure. Typically the failure will be preceded by loss of the settings for the startup disk and system clock. See the user manual for replacement instructions. You may have to take the machine to a service provider to have the battery replaced.
    Step 12
If you get this far, you're probably dealing with a hardware fault. Make a "Genius" appointment at an Apple Store, or go to another authorized service provider.

  • Exclude Holiday hours from overtime hours and add into regular hours

In our current scenario any holiday hours are included in Overtime hours. We want to exclude these holiday hours from overtime hours
    Two examples:
In one week an employee works 35 regular hours, with 8 holiday hours, for a total of 43 hours. Currently, the employee would get 40 hours of straight time, with 3 hours of OT. The change required is that it should have 43 hours of straight time, with no OT.
Another example - In one week an employee submits 42 hours of time, with 8 holiday hours for a total of 50 hours. Currently, the employee would get 40 hours of straight time, with 10 hours of OT. With the change, the employee would receive 48 hours of straight time, with 2 hours of OT.
In summary any holiday hours should be included into regular hours not in Overtime hours.
Which setup changes are required to achive this functionalty?

You can exclude the holiday hours from the OT calculation by excluding it from the earning group setup.

    >I kind of like an indicator that acknowledges something is happening.
Agreed! Much as I love Firefox, I hate it's lack of a splash screen. Every single program on the planet that has a GUI should have as it's very first action when started to show a small splash screen, just so the user knows the command to start has been accepted. This action should be set to High Priority, interrupting all other actions such as virus scans, other programs closing, downloads, file copies, etc. Once the Splash loads, the rest of the start-up process can return to Normal priority and load in it's proper OS managed sequence.
I can't tell you how many times I've accidentally ended up with three or four browser windows open because there's no indication that anything is happening.

How do I get a time value in days, hours and minutes returned to a cell from a calculation of distance divided by speed?

    Simon,
you can use the duration function:
    B4=DURATION(0,0,B1/B2)
you can further, format the cell as a duration like this using the cell inspector:

  • Process Order Details like batch number, mfg date flow to a new process ord

    Hi Experts,
I have a doubt in Process Order.
    I have two stage production.
    1. Blending
    2. Packing
I create a process order for blending and assign a batch number and manufacturing date for Blending operation.
    Release the process order.
Final Confirmation of the process order.
I complete all the process, Goods Reciept is done.
    Technically completed the Process Order.
Now my 1st stage Process order is completed and ready for the 2nd stage production i.e., Packing.
Now I create a new process order,
here I am having the problem that I need to enter all the details like batch number, manufacturing date etc..
I want to avoid this in the 2nd process order.
How to do this i.e., carry forwarding the details of the 1st process order into the 2nd process order.
Is there any setting required at the back end?
I was told about Push operation to rectify the above problem. But I am not clear about that.
Can any one clearly explain about that step- by - step.
    Thanks in advance,
    Regards,
